Mechanics: When ready to go Jessa could travel to specific contact from the Planet (these would be roleplayed) or could generally use her Knowledge of the Kathol sector to find a item from a legal dealer or her streetwise to find a less than legal source. Difficulty is by the item Astrogation Charts (4D), Turbolaser batteries (4D), Seeds (1D), Marine Life (2D), Cargo (easy roll, cargo is stacked up with no ships to transport it). Time is 4 hours per check. For each success you find 1 unit of the good. Advantages can cut an 1/2 hour off the time. 2 advantages could also be use as a boost on the negotiation (or charm) roll to buy the item.
You have 47 hours till lift off.

Jessa and Crewman Kintor travel to Colonel Heget's office. She warns the appropriate channels that she is contacting an Imperial Army Colonel.

Lodor keeps an eye, and a few tentacles, out for trouble during the entire trip to Colonel Heget's office. He heard Ciro's advice about the potential danger of the locals, so he's making sure nobody gets any ideas, and he keeps his pheromone sensors searching for any signs of aggression.
Mechanics: If I need to, let me know the difficulty of a Perception check to find any hostiles. Also, for the entire negotiation, Lodor'll assist Jessa's check, but I don't think he has any skills or characteristics higher than Jessa's in this challenge (2Cun, 3Pres, no relevant skill training), so he's just adding a boost die to Jessa's roll.

Before you can leave.... Lodor and Jessa each engage the repulsorlift of their Speederbikes. The Diminutive Chadar-Fan Mechanic smiles with a fanged tooth glee as he motions Lodor to reeve the engine. As you follow his instructions Jessa notices a long convered speeder approaching. The speeder stops before you and four Twi’Lik MPs with sashes showing the Nobel Governments seal on them pour from the doors and set up casual posts at all four corners of the area. An Elomin hand motions for you to approach the vehicle. Looking into the vessel Jessa sees the horned head of the now three day Governor of Kal’Shebbol Monjai. The two of you slide into her dark speeder. For the underground dwelling Monjai it would be comfortable, for the two of you it reminds a little too much of your past months in Sarne’s cells. “Lt. Dejas I would like to ask you assistance.” The new Govern asks without any time spent on formalities or small talk.

"What would you like?"

"To be blunt. I would the lights to stay on, the refreshers to work, and the holonet to function." She smiles. "Sarne left with every ship that had a functional hyperdrive and all the military personnel he could pack on board. Most of the Imperials he left are bureaucrats and support. I have members of my new government who would like to remove all former Empire from every level of government. We can't afford to do that. We don't have the skilled replacements for thousands of positions. I need someone at the top of the imperial hierarchy that both sides will respect. I believed Colonel Heget would be that man. This morning he announced his retirement from the Imperial Remnant and the government. That would leave Major Danthe the highest ranking officer. He will not be able to win over the Noble Consul. I need Heget. When Captian Ciro asked permission for you to speak to the Colonel that made me think you may have the ability to speak to him Imperial to Imperial. Find what it would take to return Sir Heget the hero of Gandel Ott to office."

"I've known and served for Danthe. Anyone Imperial can tell you he's a hardass. Without Heget in office, Kal'Shebbol will likely fall into instability."
(Thinking about Coercion here, but unsure if Coercion check is warranted here)
"It's in both of our interests to make sure Heget stays exactly where he is. While the NR needs to show that we're willing to make reparations for any casualties the Remnant has suffered, the Kal'Shebbol Gov't needs to show that they're willing to let the Remnant stay. I'd like for you to make a contribution to Heget's offices so that he may distribute the reparation reward in any matter he sees fit."
Negotiation check.

You have her in a tight spot and she has been up for almost 4 days. The check would be just 2D and you would have a boost for her mental strain. Each success will be 10,000 credits with each advantage being 1,000 more credits. A Triumph will change the numbers to 100,000 and 10,000.

2y2g+1b vs 2p= Net 4 successes, 1 disadvantage. I'll wait for the mayor's response.

"This is blackmail," a voice chimes in from a Twi'Lek in the darkness of the vehicle. Jessa feels a coldness in him.
"No," counters the Governor,"This is good business. We are helping make the transition smoother. I can provide 39,000 credits to Heget to provide bonuses for his people to stay on the job to be distributed as he sees fit. He will be given a chair in my cabinet and a voice in government. Tell Sir Heget that I realize he is not a politician, but he is a man who does the right thing."

"Good. I'm sure we're both very busy, so if there's nothing else, I'd like to be excused."
Jessa motions to leave and if she is allowed to, she gets on the speeder bike with Crewman Kintor and heads towards Heget's office.

With his retirement Jessa assumes Heget will be in his residence in the House Karadol Manors a complex of buildings surrounded by the Nobel house security. House Karadol was a minor house before the coming of the Empire. Many of their holdings and corporation where reassigned by the Empire from other houses. The fact that their Queen is known as the Black Widow who weaves a web of spies and informants tells all you need to know about the house.
With Jessa's knowledge of the capital city you skirt around dangerous patches of revelers and arrive at the main gatehouse of Karadol Manor. The normally open roadway is as expected closed, but your rank, credentials, and the fact that you are lightly armed get you through. A servant takes your speederbikes and motions you to the holdings of Sir Heget.
As you walk the length from the entrance gate of his holding to his mansion you see that the Colonel has done well for himself. All of you interaction where at the Imperial Governance Buildings. A servant at the mansion motions you to the back of the estate and you note three guards along the way.
Heget is reclined on a comfortable chase speaking to holodisk communicator as you arrive. The estate is picturesque with gardens, gazeboes, and statues. It reminds you of holographs you have seen of long dead Alderaan or Naboo.
The Holodisk shows Major Danthe bowing as Heget clicks it off. He rises from his position with a smile and moving forward takes your hands in his,"Jessa I have seen you in an age. How did Sarne leave this planet without his favorite in tow?" He looks at the new patches on the shoulders of your uniform. One is the New Republic badge and the other is the FarStar patch. His eyebrows raise.

Lodor steps back. "I have a feeling you'll want to discuss this situation alone. I'll wait outside." He walks out the door and starts seeing if he can find whoever the estate's gardener is to so that the FarStar can enlist the help of whoever is supplying these exotic seeds. He'll also be more than happy to size up those three guards in case things somehow spiral out of control. As they almost always do.
Mechanics: I think a Perception check can apply to both of these goals. He has 1P and 1A to roll for Perception.

"Sarne was a coward. I'm sure you'll provide the people of Kal'Shebbol a much better service in his absence."
Jessa walks up to Heget's desk with an air of arrogance and pride of that which only a servant of the Empire could retain. Her chiseled face and outstanding posture is comparable to that of the statues that adorn the mansion. She slowly begins to take off her NR Coat and peers into Heget's eyes, allowing him to take her coat if he wishes.
Charm check.

Jessa motions to Lodor.
"Don't leave. I haven't the slightest doubt that you needn't protect me here, but you must continue to protect the New Republic's interests. Stay, witness, and protect."
(Not sure how to eloquently put this, but she's saying that if Lodor leaves, he won't be able to confirm that everything that transpired in this room was in the NR's interest... and he'd be blamed for it)
