www.dailydoserpg.com/rpg/new_page_5.htmYou are at the purple path you orginally had for Lodor (unless you want to be elsewhere). You are hiding at the corner of he building and the back of the transport is 30m away. With your Blaster Carbine (Ranged (Light),Damage 9,Range 8m/24m/48m/96m/180m,critical on 3,It has a Stun Setting) it would be a 3D to hit. Lodor, Arac, and Hasselock all have a Blaster Carbine. Your not sure if Loh'Khar is armed. Keeg and Pash are in this www.dailydoserpg.com/rpg/defender.htmThe laser cannons would do 50 or 60 damage to a 3m area they aim for basically killing anything within that 10 foot square. Critical receive a bonus +50 to the percentage die roll. So hitting a person with a vehicle laser cannon makes a big impression.

Is Jessa at close, short, or medium range from the gate?

mechanics: The deceit roll evens out to nothing. No success, no failure, nothing. Not sure how to interpret that Loh'Khar flicks his hands at Lodor and declares loud enough for all to here,"Tell this Schutta I have pressing matters and a Tualin does not answer to a Nabrina (beast of burden/ ox)."

She is just at medium range from the gate, but the big transport is blocking the gate.

Time for the last gambit. "Frang! How deficient are your lekku?! We came here to try pull you out of the nexu's den, but if you want to get turned into bantha poodoo, I genuinely don't care anymore! Have fun! Say hi to Alderaan for me!"
Mechanics: Believe it or not, every word I said to them is true, so I think this actually qualifies as a Negotiation check. I roll 3P (thanks to Loh'Khar's assistance) against whatever their Discipline is.

I think that's actually Coercion.

OOC: Oh, I wasn't sure since I wasn't physically threatening them myself. Thanks! Let's hope the Force is with us on this roll...
Mechanics: 3A and 1B against Discipline.

Coercion vs. 3d for the leader. You just need to convince him. Please fail!

Lodor stares straight into the eyes of their leader with a mixture of disgust and rage, and the leader backs down. Lodor has successfully asserted his dominance over the thugs.
Mechanics: Lodor rolls 3A and 1B against 3D. He rolls 2 successes and 2 advantages against the leader's 1 fail and 1 threat, for a total score of 1 success and 1 advantage.
OOC: Whew! That was way too close for comfort!

The Leader stares down Lodor for moments then another thugs points to a growing group of spots in the sky flying in a tight formation.
With a motion of his head the thugs pile onto the transport and begin to back out of the area.

"Air support, fly by and disengage. Everyone else, remain cautious, but do not engage. Allow the thugs to leave, and do not fire unless fired upon."
ooc- I am so disappointed, lol

To Jessa "Omega defender one to Jessa, I copy, flying by and disengaging, will not fire, repeat, will not fire"
Keeg says to Pash "Oh I love it when the orders are not specific, lets see how close we can get to that transport at full speed, hang on!"
Targeting the Transport, getting to withen close range, or a dozen meters (over the walls of the gate if they are higher) or so and flying by, with a nice steep climb afterwards. Giving myself a 3 purple difficulty. with the S-foils closed i get one boost die. 2Y2G1B vs 3Purple (2 success!)
Then over hot mike: "WAAAA HOOOO!"

After the thugs are long gone and Lodor and Loh'Kar head back to the rest of the group, Lodor sighs deeply in relief. "Whew! That was way too risky for me. Remind me to keep away from the persuasion and stick to the turret firing from now on."

"Good work, I'm impressed with how you two dealt with the situation. We still have some other details to take care of. Private Kintor, you're with me. Let's see if we can contact the administrator."
Possible streetwise check in order to attempt to figure out how to contact the admin of the area.

Do you want the admin of the Marine Processing Plant or the local law enforcement?
As the Defender arcs down over the plant streaming above the transport. The transport looks like it is trying to boost the engines. As the Defender is passing over the rear of the transport lowers and a group of 4 Thugs fire on the Defender. A few bolts actually strike the defender doing little more than scratching the nice Farstar insignia just painted on the hull.
The wing of X-Wings cross overhead. "Ensign Taravon will have your hide for messing up her paint job." Ranna laughs over the comm.
"That may not be our largest problem," Will comms from the second X-Wing. "We have a holonet airspeeder coming in."
Loh'Khar begins to motion your transport to the gates.
