"Affirmative." He's sticking around, but he'll make sure not to get in your way. He'll even use his pheromone sensors to see if he can pick up some of what Heget's feeling. He's also keeping watch for any funny business.
Mechanics: The pheromone sensors are just an in-game reason for the boost die that I'll give you for any checks here. Plus he's set to do a Perception check if anything starts to seem shady.

Heget gives the expected look men give in the presence of Jessa. His eyes flick to the side and a servant takes her coat as another brings drinks for all. It is a fruity blend known as a local breakfast drink. He sits and leans back into his chase inviting her into the one next to his.
"Sarne was never a coward, but the people of Kal'Shebbol are much better without his leadership. I just wish it was the true Empire replacing him and not the New Republic. No offense to your new friends." He holds his drink for a toast." To new friends."
Mechanics: Charm has 1 success but 4 advantages. So you have 2 boosts to use during the conversation.

"And to new beginnings"
Jessa completes the toast.
"I enjoyed the Empire's control of Kal'Shebbol while it lasted. The people of Kal'Shebbol can continue to enjoy the virtues of the Empire if you were to remain in office. The people need you here. On behalf of the NR, we're willing to negotiate a reparation settlement for any casualties suffered during the NR's invasion."
Negotiation check.

"I've been a soldier for the Empire since it was the Republic. I should have left Kaal'Shebbol once Sarne broke from the True Empire. I should have left when he began speaking of Darkstryders, Kathol Prophets, and the like. I convinced myself I stayed for the soldiers I trained, for the people I could save from his madness. Really I was staying because I'm tired." He finished his drink."When the New Republic attacked I decided I would finally do what I should have done years ago and return to my true duty." He stands and opens his arms. "This is my true duty isn't it? Their is no more true empire only bickering warlords fighting for scraps. I would not be a colonel and our Imperial Government would be renamed, but I could help the make difference. The reparation funds you speak off could be used short term to keep employees showing up for work and provide for security we will lost when Sarne grabbed every trooper on the planet." He starts pacing with renewed excitement. "I would need a voice in the new government, we would need to be sure that houses do not seek revenge... Okay I'm babbling a bit. I will need something from your ship. I had planned to travel in sector to gather soldiers I had trained that are still loyal to the Empire. I need to try to save them from Sarne, or from the riots and turmoil of newly freed systems. I would like to send Major Danthe in my place. He would need passage for himself and his aides on the FarStar to the next system with a viable starport. From there they can purchase a vessel and begin to search for my men. I can't leave them to chaos or Sarne."

"Aiding your men is very important to us, but providing passage to Major Danthe aboard the FarStar would be too risky. Since Sarne left Kal'Shebbol, we've been trying to mobilize the FarStar in a very fast response time. Tensions are high aboard the FarStar. Having Major Danthe aboard may cause unwarranted aggression. If there was a technical malfunction aboard the ship, it would be seen as sabotage on his behalf. It would not be safe for Major Danthe. Your men are still important to us though. Perhaps we can compromise and contact a nearby starport and have them deliver the vessel to Kal'Shebbol. We're willing to help make the arrangements."
Negotiation Check. Destiny point if I've got one, hehe.

Your destiny pool is 2 points right now. You also have 2 boost from the last negotiation.
"What could offer the FarStar that it is desperate enough for to allow their passage? They could be placed under house guard until they arrive. The House Karadol and myself have many resources. I was gathering equipment to retrofit an old freighter. It will take weeks to have it space worthy. The FarStar would be a faster way to get Danthe to our men. Each trooper he takes out of this sector is one less to resist you. I will accept the position as chief administrator or whatever they want to call it, but I still can not abandon my men." He looks to you and takes one of your hands,"You don't need to go with the FarStar. I could use an assistant and I know you would be more than qualified. We of House Karadol would appreciate your abilities far more than the New Republic."
OOC He going to take the job. You also have a chance to meet some of your supply requirements if you play it right (or play him right).

OOC So apparently you're not telling me my dice results. That's totally cool, just didn't expect it, haha.
Jessa places her hands on Heget's and gently pulls away.
"Thank you for the offer, but my place is among the stars. As long as Danthe and his aides understand the risks involved, I agree an arrangement such as being under house guard would be appropriate. I can only speak for the New Republic so far though, and I can't imagine they'll be enthusiastic about bringing them aboard. I'll need something to negotiate with. We're in need of turbolaser batteries and astrogation charts, and you mentioned you've got an old freighter. Perhaps we could compromise. We will provide passage, and you can provide us with needed supplies if they're available."
Negotiation check.

"I have 2 turbolaser batteries I was preparing to install in the freighter. If I don't need them I could donate them for the good of the Republic." Heget looks sideways. "Sarne had a worm program in the astrogation beacons. He purge all of them. The only charts we have are days old but you are welcome to them. Once we have a written agreement from your Captain promising safe passage I will have both delivered." He leans in to hug Jessa something she did not expect. Heget whispers into her ear,"Darkstryder was just one of Sarne's projects. I heard things, terrible things. Beware the Storm Giant." He leans back and smiles dismissing them as he returns to his lounge.
Mechanics; 2 success (batteries) and 3 advantages (charts and information)

Captain Ciro initially seems hesitant but the need for the batteries, even old astrogation charts, and the want to help the governor make his realize he doesn't really have logical choice. "make the deal."
Heget is ordering servants to deliver the batteries and a the astrogation to the FarStar.
You retrieve your speederbike and begin to leave the compound. Outside a group of citizens are protesting the House Karador. Signs read "Hand of the Empire", "Give back what you stole", "Traitors", "House Karadol the Nefarious web of deceit", "What does Nefarious mean?"
Luck for you speederbikes are faster than a protesters rock. The rock passes behind Lodor and strikes a protester on the other side as you speed past.

As you ride back, Lodor says "Well done Lieutenant. I think that went better than anybody could've hoped. I'm pretty sure the entire crew owes you for what you did today."
OOC: Seriously, awesome job. You had the Governor and Heget both eating out of your hands. You dealt with them masterfully.

Jessa remembers the empire had a processing plant for marine food products at the docks. It is right next to a marine "farm" with marine life walled into the area. If she could negotiate with the administrator she could get the marine life you need. As you move through the city you see groups of protesters are more common and the street between them are empty of people.
Pulling up to the docks she sees a group of a large transport speeder is at the front gate of the plant. A group of Twi'lek men (6) are cutting through the gate with a laser torch. Within you do not see any workers and the men are working openly on the gate in broad daylight.
As you stop and look a speeder bike pulls up next to yours. Within the fluttering robes of the rider you see the confident smirk of Loh'khar. "It seem we thought of the same supplier. He does not look open for business and it seems that group is looking to stake a claim. Do we convince them of the greater need of the new flagship of the New Republic?"
Behind Loh'khar arrives the FarStar speeder transport. It is driven by Biologist Lt Arac and the Bioengineer Chief Hasslock. Hasslock looks out of the cab at Loh'khar,"I guess this is why you suggest we come armed for our own protection."
Mechanics: 2 success and 1 Triumph you found exactly what you need, could even get it for free, and it only required an hour. Now you just need to stop the thieves from taking it first.

"We may be assuming too much. These ruffians might actually be workers that got locked out some how. If they're indeed thieves, then all we need do is display a show of force."
Perception check for any other hazards/hostiles, as well as any vantage points to setup for a sniper.
