Hraken, seeing the knight struggle with his climb, attempts hoist Malik up (11). Unable to get a sure grip on the sloped roof however, he only manages to pull the armor laden human a few more feet.
Current Turn: Malik, Hraken 3GM, 2 PC, 2 GM, PC, rest of GM
Mechanics: Rolled 11 on strength check. Also, I believe I already killed one of the three goblins on the tavern during my extraordinary success, not a big deal, but not sure if you counted it, or just added another new one that climbed up. Either way, you had Ologold kill one, so I guess it doens't matter to much.
@Sithramir: Who is Oloric? Is he another character you will play?

Hraken: Yes. It appears this scene is also where he will appear. He will wait to see some goblins before any action. You see a gold skinned man in robes with a dragon headed staff and odd looking eyes. A glimpse shows scales along his neck

One of the two goblins on the roof suddenly is struck by shrapnel from the explosion and dies.
As Hraken pulls up Malik a horn is blasting through out the city between the sounds of explosions.
The last of the goblins begin to run south and north away from you each is grabbing what ever it can along the way.
In the distance to the north you hear the barking of a pack of dogs. Hraken knows the city has a group of hounds trained to hunt goblins.

I think we are still waiting for Oloric, Ologold, Chetum, and Kaeile right? Are all of the goblins using their turns to run away?

Chetum has climbed to the roof just in time to watch the goblins run away. Kaeile is stumbling north toward the door of the inn.
You are out of combat rounds and can post actions in narrative format until you end up back in another fight.

XP is at the end of a scene. I will post it in the OOC forum.

Hraken eyes the knight struggling to climb the rope onto the roof. He had never met the knight before, but he could tell his hatred for goblins rivaled even his own. "I don't think Kaeile would have made it if it weren't for you," he said as he helped hoist the man the rest of the way. Hraken could feel his blood boiling as he looked to the south hoping to spot the group the goblin's had taken; Hraken had grown up as a prisoner to a hobgoblin tribe, and fate he did not wish on anybody.
Perception check (19) on the goblins pushing the wheelbarrow.

Malik finally makes it to the roof and faces the unusual panther with a grim look on his face. "Was that a friend of yours? Potential ogre and goblin food is not an option I wish on anyone."
Looking for where he is most needed from the higher vantage point (also a 19) he continues "I have a grudge needing settled with the goblin leaders and you seem a kindred spirit. We should find help for these fires and then lend our weapons where needed. You skills with the ogre were impressive"
"I am new to this area and am not much of a forest man. Do you know where we should head?"

From below you see a gold skinned creature, human looking except for the eyes and odd skin tone. No hair, with dark robes and a dragon headed staff. He calls out to you "Hello strangers I heard an explosion but appear to be late to the party. My name is Oloric. Friend or foe?"
Looking at the cat like stranger and the large knight with the dark hued armor, Oloric hopes he hasn't bitten off more than he can chew. One blast of an orb should take out either of them but that Were?-creature looks fast. Better take him out first if I have to. That knight won't see me escape if I need to. I really hope it doesn't come to that, I hate having to make quick escapes from a third town in a week! At least this time wouldn't be blamed on my good looks!

Malik uses his divine sense to garner the alignment of both characters.
"Friend" he calls down to Oloric. "You didn't see a halfling run past did you? I owe him a brow beating for almost getting me killed!"

Hraken and Oloric do not show to be evil. Chetum's head peaks over the edge of the roof as he climbs up. He shows an aura of more self interested than truly evil. "Beating I should be receiving a thank you for coming back to save your lives. If i knew how ungrateful you would be I would have kept running." Ologold and his family go for the nearest well and begins drawing water to begin a bucket brigade. As people see the hounds racing past and Golden Lions appear they begin to come outside and join the Ologold's efforts. The Sergeant of the Golden Lions rides in and stops before Oloric. His blade is dripping with Goblin blood,"You are your companions have my gratitude. Our Golden Lions have been ambushed throughout the city and our reserves are reported ambushed by a legion of Hobgoblin at the Orchard. There is report of goblin retreat, but the city is aflame. If you could join the patrols through the city and help rout the last of goblin resistance the town council will be financially appreciative. There is a large battle by the Hall of Great Valor with reports of Ogres and goblin shamans."

Hraken doesn't say a word as the unknown figure walks onto the battlefield. He can smell the slight sense of dragon blood on the golden skinned man, which sets his hairs standing on end. Over the years Hraken has learned that not all those with dragon heritage are as evil as the one his goblin masters followed so many years ago, but it takes all of his effort to keep his rage against such folk in check. As Hraken slips his hands into his pockets, never taking his gaze from the sorcerer.
"We must continue the fight. We cannot let them get away," Hraken says as he leaps from the rooftop, quickly collecting his spent quarrels and searching for his spears.
Mechanics: I will collect half of my arrows as per the rulebook, but do I find all my spears?

Oloric smiles every bit the charismatic diplomat. "Yes well it clearly was accomplished without me but I will provide aid as best I can. Good job to those on the roof.I'm sure a few lass's will be willing to congratulate me on some hard work afterwards! The hall is not far off but we must hurry!"
That panther looks fierce and he sure doesn't like me Oloric ponders. I don't recall any female panthers wanting for my attentions so hopefully he'll warm up after we slay a few goblins and the like! There's only one thing I like more than killing goblins and that's gold..and women...maybe two things.
Oloric starts his way once his new companions have collected their gear, taking the spare time to search nearby corpses for anything of use or clues (DC 15 Insight).
