OOC: Well I still need my goblin to go before me. I might not live to make any actions!
Plan will be to finish goblin. Rolled 18 + 6= 24 and 1+4=5 damage with first attack.
OOC: Can I delay rest of action for Hraken? Too many goblins for us to win. I also am not sure he is on my side yet unless I have heard of him before

Hraken quickly loads his crossbow and fires at the ogre hitting him right between the eyes. The ogre scrapes at his face in an attempt to remove the offending bolt. With the ogre distracted Hraken runs to Kaeile's fallen body, slinging his bow over his shoulder and scooping up his spear. Hraken sends the spear flying into the ogres exposed ribs and leaps onto the ogre's chest ripping at its neck with his mighty jaws.
Mechanics: 26 attack from advantage: Nat 20, and 14 damage: Nat 10, no joke. Obviously extraordinary success. Second attack with spear was 17 attack and 14 damage again. I assume 26 was enough for 3rd as well. For this I rolled another nat 20. not kidding. The damage was 23 because of critical.
I Swear this is all true. It will probably be the best attack sequence of my life.

OOC: just checking the math 51 damage to the Ogre.
3GM The ogre screams in pain and unable to use his club he grabs the ranger and tosses him from his chest. The ranger spins in the air landing on his feet on the roof of the burning tavern. Landing on the roof he is greeted by a pair of goblins who had climbed the south wall of the building. Their knives spin at Hraken and both pass over his head and to the ground below (rolled a 6 and a 3).

Occ. Nice. Im on god mode or something. How long do I have (in rounds) before building burns down, or I otherwise die in the fire?

The outside is pretty solid stone and the roof is not on fire yet. So you have some time before the rafters go. There are some holes blown in the roof.
Looking down from the roof you do notice a small shadowy figure has crept behind the ogre's wagon. It looks like Chetum did not take his own advice.

Seeing the panther creature's impressive display on the Ogre, Malik finishes the goblin in front of him with a quick slice of his axe.
Rolled 18 + 6= 24 and 1+4=5 damage with first attack. OOC: I'm assuming with their 13 AC this means I would get 2 more attacks? I'll go with it but clarify if I did it wrong though I won't use the last attack.
Seeing the ogre's great display of strength glancing at the half-man flung onto the roof. The avenger charges towards the ogre throwing both axes. OOC: Rolled 8 and 5. Then I remembered the Advantantage! Rolled 20 and 2.
Malik's first axe bites into the Ogre deeply. Malik draws his two axes from his belt ready as he bridges the distance between him and his foes. "Prepare to meet your maker!" Damage: 1+4=5. Does this still do extra crit damage now? I rolled 6 on the second damage if so. No str bonus. Second attack roll: 5+6=11. Doubt it's a hit but 3 damage if so. I move full movement so i'm in range to close to melee next round if need be. Edit: I re-read and since I had a spare attack left I can use it for more movement. not changing anything other than ensuring i'm close enough to move and attack the ogre (say 20' away). I might not have made it without this.
IF the ogre dies I would attempt to use my Intimidation on the goblins. This might be an action in itself though?

Malik dispatches the first goblin with ease. Slides past and rushes toward the Ogre. His first axe bites into the Ogre's forehead critically injuring the creature. The blow fells the foul beast that slumps forward in it's yoke then slumps backwards onto the cart. Goblins are racing along the roofs to surround Malik. A halfling (Chetum) head pops up from the back of the wagon,"Hey, You big ugly let's see you take some of your own medicine... You killed him already... Hraken didn't grab Kaeile ... Oh nerf! Run away! Run Away!" The halfing runs off the front dropping a torch and trying to pull on the large woman on the ground before the cart. He is not getting real far in his effort. Looking back at the cart Malik sees the fuses on a half dozen barrels are all lit. Sometimes a helpful halfling can be a curse of good intentions.

I will reserve my turn and see if Malik can save Kaeile.

Malik makes his way towards the injured female Kaeile while sheating one of his weapons. Laying his hands upon her she is rejuvenated (Healed to 1 HP) and Malik drags her to her feet. "You must go. There are goblins all over the roofs and you must get help. I will cover your exit. Find a way to stop these fires!".
Grinning over the ogre's corpse as he slowly pulls his axe from the ogres torn body Malik shouts "I like the way you die. Who else will face the edge of my weapons?"
OOC: Doubt I have any real movement left so hoping i'm not blown to bits before next action. Edit: I move as far north as possible to be away from the cart in case it ignites.

You were only 10ft from Kaeile and your allowed movement before and after your action, so you can probably still go another 15 or 20.

Good catch. I forget about "free" movement with grabbing weapons now. Edited above.

Good catch. I forget about "free" movement with grabbing weapons now. Edited above. It's not exactly that, 5e lets you break up your movement before, between, or after any actions. There is no "free" movement, rather there is a "free" interaction during movement. Page 70 of the Basic Rules: "You can break up your movement on your turn, using some of your speed before and after your action. For example, if you have a speed of 30 feet, you can move 10 feet, take your action, and then move 20 feet."

That is true you would be 20 feet from the wagon. The big body of the ogre should divert some blast also.
Another goblin crawls onto the roof as the two close on Hraken. The first misses with her blade but the second flanks Hraken and grazes him with her blade (2 damage).
The third totally misses with her thrown blade (2).
PC- Chetum pulls at Kaeile directing her away to the north.
Two goblins on the roof toss knives at Malik from the roof. They lack the distance to complete the throws.
PC Hraken turn
At the end of the round
The Wagon goes off exploding into the air and sending shrapnel in all directions. (Wow 5d8 damage the program rolled 3,4,1,2,1 for 11 damage) Malik roll a Dex save (DC10) to do half damage.

I rolled a 9. Unless I can somehow use athletics I'm screwed.
Does my heavy armor feat work? Seems like it would.
Malik has seen better days...

Hraken fires his crossbow at one of the approaching goblins, barely noticing as a dagger glances off his shoulder. It hits the first goblin right in the knee, causing the goblin to stumble. Fueled by the success of the shot, he races at a second goblin flinging a dagger at it as closes in. The goblin grasps at the dagger protruding from its arm as Hraken slashes it's neck with its sharp claws. Blood gushing from it's neck, the goblin is dead before it's body slumps to it's feet.
Mechanics: Natural 20 for crossbow, seriously again, dealing only 5 damage on first goblin. Dagger (19) deals 5 piercing, and claw attack (16) deals 9 slashing for 14 total on second, so I assumed it's dead (if I'm wrong, just fix it in your next post, and I'll edit this one)
Do I have to roll for damage from explosion? If so, do it for me. I think you have my character sheet.
Edit: This is a longshot... but can my natural 20 that hit the one in the knee cause it to stumble, falling of the roof and land on the wagon, suppressing some of the damage?
Aside from that... since I'm new to D&D can you give me advice? Is there something I could have done to help Malik? throw grappling hook? Rope? I dunno, something to aid him? Shove a goblin off the roof? If so I might use a different course of actions than this.... Can I redo my turn to try and help instead?
