Chatrenn and Sons Inn
As you arrive the fires in the area are under control and goblin bodies have been piled in the warehouse that was under construction.
Ologold the owner of the burned down Antler and Thistle greets you as you travel down the street. "Good to see you among the living friend Hraken. We left a couple of rooms for yours. Know that you are always welcome at Chatrenn."
As you enter the Inn a young girl barely in her teens approaches your group. You have seen her carrying soups, stews, and other foods in the inn for the Cook Mirtala. She brings bowls of stew and a loaf of bread. "We don't have table space, but you can share that bench over there."

Hraken nod's appreciatively at the girl then turns to his new companions.
"We must find try to find those wretched creatures. I cannot bear the thought of any of these townfolk in their clutches."

Oloric agrees, "Seems like we will be seeing them soon if they really have a plan to continue raiding villages."
Malik takes a seat "Captain Derrius seemed to know more about it. Hopefully we will learn more tomorrow and see how we can help stop this threat. Magnus will lead me to them."

Paelias has followed the others to the inn. "I would very much like to attack those goblin scum in their home swamp. But we should get good equipment; I suggest we ask for everything we need from the Captain of this town, for I'm not rich. I will also ask him if I can keep this longbow that I took from a golden lion who was slain. I hope this bow is not private property but owned by the town and that they're willing to lend it to me for the duration of our investigation. But if not, then we should do our best to convince them that supplying us with good equipment is vital to our mission; and that our mission is vital to the survival of this town!"
Paelias uses the evening time to study his book of lore (in his scholar's pack), reading everything it contains about ogres, goblins, liches, Magnus and the battle of Brindol.

After discussion you find your rooms and catch a few hours rest before the coming of the dawn. You know that the Captain asked you to meet at Brindol Keep. The Keep was the home of the Brindol family. The former rulers of this part of the Elsir Valley. When the mad king Hethen Brindol IV was overthrown by his own people the monarchy was replaced by the High Lords Council. His keep became the headquarters of the Golden Lions of Brindol and the center of government. As you walk through the city much of the city is untouched. The gatehouses, Chatren Inn area, Hall and Temple, and marketplace have removed the goblin bodies and the Temple of Grithstane has the bodies of the citizens preparing them the underworld. The Keep has an outer wall and within is a small orchards of Brindol pears and apples. The inner keep wall opens to a training area and stables to the west and the kennels of the hounds to the east. Entering the keep the throne room has been replaced by a meeting room. Nobles, guildsmen, and soldiers sit on benches of long tables. When you arrive a squire greets you and brings each of you to a table toward the head of the room.
