Paelias moves forward another 30' and then fires an arrow from his longbow at one of the goblins near Alys.
OOC: I think Paelias is in range now (within 150'). So rolled a normal attack: 11+4= 15. Damage: 6+2= 8.

If you want Malik and or Oloric can instead move to the tower if the others would be ahead of them.
Edit: or Oloric could shoot a goblin on the tower perhaps

Maybe let Paelias shoot the last goblin and the rest move to the tower (he needs to shoot somebody). Oloric can move to the tower and hit one on top if he get close enough.

OK. Oloric moves 30' and shoots a goblin on the tower. Assume same attack and damage.
Malik will run to the tower using athletics to get to it and up as fast as possible. (Rolled 16 athletics for extra speed)

Paelius rushes forward and fires his arrow goes into the back of the skull and out the mouth of the goblin scrambling on the ground. Captain Derrius lifts Alys off the ground and holds her to his chest his hands and face glow with divine power as healing flows into the cleric. Blackarrow races down the top of the gate toward the other tower. Fargrim chases after him. Malik runs toward the tower as the soldier looks to his companions who lay dying trying to finds ones to save. 6 goblins burn to death falling to the ground by the stall. The golden lions 3 are pulling and pushing each other to get to the roof of east gatehouse. 3 are in the west gatehouse tower take advantage of the goblins running away from oloric's magic to climb up the ladder. 4 rush forward to the dying captain and the other soldiers. Hraken (??) runs forward to the tower. Oloric move to the tower and drops a goblin on the roof with his arcane bolt. The rest run for the north end. The Militia, Wordwise, and Fiery are going right down the middle of the road to attack. Behind them come the people of the town. Izzy runs for the tower. Reaching the north side the goblins climb the battlement and are met by the arrows of 20 Golden Lion archers on the bridge. The rain of arrows drops the 4 goblins and they hit the water below dead. Round Nine Goblins are dead or swimming. The archers will shoot the swimming ones next round. It comes down to what Blackarrow will do with the Golden Lions closing in. Attachments:

Blackarrow gives a deep sigh and wryly remarks "It's a shame they dispatched those goblins so quickly. If I'd killed them, it would've helped my argument."
He looks to Fargrim and says "You protected me earlier, so the least I can do in return is protect your reputation." He begins using his rope to bind his wrists in front of him and explains "I'll keep myself tied up to make them less likely to kill me on sight. Hopefully, these fools will listen to reason. There should be numerous witnesses to my actions against the goblins, including upstanding members of the local Temple of Magnus, so their little conspiracy theory will deflate the moment they do the slightest bit of investigation, if the Lions even bother with that anymore."
OOC: I should note that, in the case that the Lions try tossing him off, Blackarrow made sure to tie up his wrists at the 25ft mark of the rope. It's good to have insurance.

If Blackarrow is arrested, Paelias will tell the guards about how Blackarrow helped us fight the goblins at the Hall of Great Valor and the temple of Magnus. If they try to ignore Paelias, he'll try to contact the other members of his guild in Brindol (the gemcutter's guild) in order to delay any rash actions of the guards against Blackarrow. Perhaps some of these guild members are in the mob running down the streets.

Haggard and beaten, Malik is spent. He will gladly speak up of anything he has seen. (Not positive he saw much to defend blackarrow specifically). He will check goblin bodies for any surviving and dispatch them.
Pending anything else happening he will take a rest. Later he will give information to the temple elders and likely find a drink. He will seek out somewhere quiet as he is in no mood for celebration.

Issarion runs over to the river's edge, points down at the goblins dying in the water and yells "And STAY out!" Wandering back toward the remains of the kerfluffle, he says "Well, that was anticlimactic. Say, did it occur to anybody to maybe capture one of these mugs alive so's we could maybe ask them some pointed questions? Like, maybe, what the hell this was all about?" He looks around. "Anybody? Maybe?"

Oloric will search the bodies of the fallen for clues, loot, and any of those fire pots. He will then attempt to interact with Alys. He will attempt to convince her to meet him for a drink later to learn more about the town and how he can "help". He can attempt a persuasion check, etc if required.
Otherwise he will be helpful to the Golden Lions and look to join them later selling himself as one of the hero's and 'ogreslayer'.
He will tell what he knows of Blackarrows help and otherwise await what else happens.

The soldiers make it to the top of both towers. On sight they raise weapons and surround Blackarrow. They look to the dwarf standing on a tower of dead goblins with Blackarrow tied up in awe. "You defeated the goblins and captured the Blackarrow? You are a credit to your race friend dwarf." The sergeant of the Golden Lions states.
In the marketplace below, Wordwise and Fiery stop beside the Captain Derrius who is still holding Alys.
"Will she live?" Fiery asks.
"Yes little one she will live." The Captain turns to the weathered Malik walking away,"Brother in the Holy Sword I give greeting." He slides Alys form gently to the ground and places his golden cloak wrapped up under her head. Walking to Malik he extends a forearm in greeting.
Wordwise looks to the tower above. "Captain I believe your men are making a grave mistake. That man on the tower has killed a dozen goblins this night and saved scores of citizens. I know he has been a vigilante in your city. I have sung his songs and ballads, but he is a good man who risked everything to help."
"All that will be noted when he stands before the city council." Derrius states,"Men handle the Blackarrow with care. Leave him his animosity until a proper hearing. Also bring the hobgoblin prisoner and place him in the stockade. Close these gates and put out this fire. Let go soldiers of Brindol and citizens."
Some citizens tend to the dead, so help the dying, others begin bucket brigades a simple task with the river so near. Younger ones bring forth food and drink for the warriors and yourself. You catch your breaths as you watch 20 Golden Lions bring a hobgoblin in chains through the gate. They place him in a stockade at the foot of the main stage and two soldiers stand guard.
Young ones bring food, drink, a few flowers for Paelius and words of gratitude.
The Golden Lions bring Blackarrow to the ground and 2 lions approach,"We will deliver him to the dungeons of Brindol Keep." The two take him from the other golden lions and walk him from the marketplace. As the reach the streets and alleys one of their daggers slices his bounds. "You saved us in the Hall of Great Valor. I watched bleeding as you jump from above to fight for me. I go home to my wife and children today because of you." He clasps Blackarrow's forearm. "Go my friend."
OOC: You have had a short rest and are 2nd level!

Malik turns to Izzy "I'm guessing we will be seeing more of this scum. There are many still alive trying to escape back to their holes. They appear to have a prisoner. It matters not the why. We must obliterate the vile creatures. Perhaps the pathetic hobgoblin will have information. They did seem intent on the cleric. We should also see what she knows. Perhaps we can help. I am Malik. Who are you my good man?"
Upon the greeting from the captain, Malik extends his forearm "Well met captain. I am Malik and Magnus has led me here in my search for answers and to aid me in my quest to rid these abominations from this area. I am at your service but be warned that many a holy man has disagreed with my methods. I will do whatever it takes to help these people. I hope we can see eye to eye. Shall we meet later? I must rest after running through half of this town. You certainly have a rodent problem it appears."

"Call me Izzy. It's short for 'Is he who I think he is?', and no, no I'm not. I'm just a guy. And in my experience, it ALWAYS matters why." Izzy looks around. "Did you notice that ogre flying off with a couple-a dudes under his arm? Any idea who they were?"

Malik shrugs, "Dinner likely." Can he be tracked? Captain do you know where they might take them or why? The panther man Hraken seems an able tracker"

Fargrim is dumbfounded that the man is giving himself in. That's clearly a man of honor. Still the guards are taking him away. Fargrim really needs to learn how to make people pay attention to him.
Fargrim tries to grab the arm of a Lion to make him listen, if he can. "Listen carefully, Lion, for I give you my word as cleric, and may the gods strike me if I lie. Blackarrow killed many goblins and saved many lives tonight. This should serve as atonement for some of his crimes at least. I don't know what the charges against him are, but you don't lay a finger on him before he receives due judgement and my testimony is heard!"
He climbs down the tower trying to follow Blackarrow and his escort as they enter an alley but when Fargrim gets there they are nowhere to be found. "What the...?".
Fargrim sees the marketplace is in shambles. He stabilizes the dying as he can, and rejoins the familiar faces from back in the Temple in front of the gates.
