Stev
Stev takes a step sideways as soon as they enter the lair he notes the sand is thin and they mostly running on hard deck right along the wall. Using this shortcut he and his crew make it through the still closed and barred entrance as the Kryat snaps at his heels. The sand crackles and the krayt shakes and falls unconscious.
Kaiya
Kaiya makes her plea to the Imperials and waits for a reply.
Part of Samarion's display goes red. "Someone just blew a hole in the western shuttle bay doors. I'm trying to get turbolasers or scans online here but I'm not Bifzik." A holograph of the tactical map outside of the station comes up. You can see the shuttle icon flickering into and out of scans in the thick polluted atmosphere. "Someone is taking a shuttle."
Kem and Gunthar
Kem moves down the hall to the intersection. He sees a group of troopers hiding around the corners of an intersection north. Looks to the Shadormen,"I will fire high you rush under the fire and take them out." He fires the e-web full auto starting at level but quickly pulling up to the upper edge of the ceiling. The Shadormen rush under his fire and are on the troopers quickly. 4 troopers vs 5 Shador warriors is hardly a battle.

OOC: Found out from Narrator they're actually heavy quad laser cannons. Oh well...
Luckily, Bifzik IS Bifzik. He hacks into the system and activates four of the quad lasers, leaving one open for Samarion to operate and working to bring up autotargeting on the other three.
Mechanics: Computer Check 4P1A vs 4D. Net result 4 successes 1 advantage. Passes boost to Samarion's shot.
Samarion may not be a great hacker, but he's still a great shot, and lands two shots on the fleeing shuttle, rocking it but not breaking it.
Mechanics: Gunnery Check 4A3B vs 4D2S. Net result 3 successes 2 advantages. Activate linked quality for 2 hits of 9 damage each.
Kaiya frowns at the news. "Stev, you still have your pilot gear. Go to the TIE hangar and make sure nobody tries to leave. If any of those TIEs are bombers, I want you in pursuit of that shuttle. We can't just let him get away to do who knows what."
Stev rushes down to the hangar as fast as he possibly can.
"Teyjo, I want you to rendezvous with Kem, Gunthar, and the Shadormen. I'd send Makio with you, but she's still in the trooper disguise, and we don't want anybody overreacting."
Kaiya then reactivates the PA. "Well, it seems that your new Warden must have thought you had no chance of victory, since he's just left you all to die. If the next officer in the chain of command would like to surrender now, I'm sure we can finally end this foolishness."

Bifzik finds no autotargeting systems in the computer's databanks. He could try to modify the Super Battle Droid targeting routines, but the targeting would be 3d like a SBD with a setback for the ill fit of the program for the job.

The Shuttle continues absorbing the damage. It has moved beyond the planets horizon for the quadlasers.
Kaiya frowns at the news. "Stev, you still have your pilot gear. Go to the TIE hangar and make sure nobody tries to leave. If any of those TIEs are bombers, I want you in pursuit of that shuttle. We can't just let him get away to do who knows what."
Stev rushes down to the hangar as fast as he possibly can.
Stev runs down the corner pealing off pieces of trooper armor. He moves past the NCO living area and south to the prison section. He can hear the sounds of battle to the west as he moves down the hall. (Strain 2 to move extra)
"Teyjo, I want you to rendezvous with Kem, Gunthar, and the Shadormen. I'd send Makio with you, but she's still in the trooper disguise, and we don't want anybody overreacting."
Looking back at Makio she has ripped the ill fitting laminate off already. Teyjo and Makio sneak across the sand west and then south to come up behind the troopers/ SBD that are fighting them. Coming down the long hallway from the NCO section to the checkpoint of the prison section you see 3 super battle droids and an officer firing down the hall at what you assume to be a group of Shadormen.
Kaiya then reactivates the PA. "Well, it seems that your new Warden must have thought you had no chance of victory, since he's just left you all to die. If the next officer in the chain of command would like to surrender now, I'm sure we can finally end this foolishness."
No one responds to your PA message.

Bifzik will use the SBD targeting. It's not perfect, but it's better than nothing. He'll also check cams in the hangar bay, and if all the TIEs are still there he'll lock the hangar down.
Samarion will begin locking down the doors in the different sectors. If the enemy can't regroup, they may be able to win through divide and conquer.
With the PA quiet, Kaiya shifts focus and begins setting up tactics for the team. "Makio and Teyjo, fire on the officer first. The droids should get confused by collared troops fighting, which could distract them long enough for Kem and the team to blast them to shreds."
Kaiya then picks back up her rifle and plants herself in her sniping position. "I don't like this silence. We don't know what they could try next, so be ready for an ambush. Samarion, make sure the floor stun is ready to activate in a moment. Oric and Balduran, Samarion still has Stev's pack of equipment, so there should be his rifle and some melee weapons for you to use for now, as well as some other useful gear. Use it all as you see fit."
OOC: The bag still has Stev's DH-X Heavy Blaster Rifle, Vibro-Greatsword, Vibrosword, and Stun Club, as well as the Medical Backpack and Climbing Gear.
Stev keeps on running, and draws his blaster pistol and vibroknife in case somebody gives him any trouble. He trusts the rest of the team can handle whatever's attacking, so he keeps following his orders.

The King proclaims that he did not hone his body and mind every day for 20 years rotting in a prison cell to sit and watch his people die. He and his brother take the weapons and start down the stairs and toward the west.Stev keeps on running, and draws his blaster pistol and vibroknife in case somebody gives him any trouble. He trusts the rest of the team can handle whatever's attacking, so he keeps following his orders. Stev runs right up to the lock downed door of the TIE hanger bay. He has his pistol out but is still pulling the pilot lifesupport and helmet on with his other hand. The Super Battle Droids ignore him with his collar on as he stands at the door. White are the PCs, red lines are the shut doors. |

Bifzik will do a flip of standard parameters: All ships with Imperial transponder codes will be fired upon, while those identifying with the New Republic will be protected.
Stev comms "Somebody open up the hangar access door for ten seconds then lock it down again, I need to get in and make sure nobody got in before we put this place on lockdown."
When the doors open, he'll step in and fire a stun blast at any trooper he can see. If there's a trooper in a TIE, he'll either try to rush the TIE and get in. Since he has the officer's ID, he hopes he can override any access lockdown a standard pilot would set up.
Samarion takes note of this issue and, since he needed to do things Apply to All style in order to shut the area down quickly, he now scans the cameras to make exceptions to that rule. He'll open up the hangar access door for the few seconds Stev requested, and will then open up the northeast access door for the shuttle bay taken over by the Shadormen.
Kaiya rolls her eyes. She did not work this hard rescuing the nobles just so they could get themselves killed. She orders for Samarion and Bifzik to maintain position and take over as mission control for her and check on the battle on the refinery level and in the sectors they don't have team members in as she follows the two nobles into battle. She'll at least try to convince them to regroup with the rest of the team south before progressing further.

The stations lasers are tracking for Imperial signatures to fire upon. They find codes from Imperial TIE fighters but targeting in the metallic polluted atmosphere of this planet is difficult.

Stev steps through as the door opens. He sees four TIE fighters on racks three of which have pilots in them. A group of 4 pit droids have an access panel open by the bay doors and are working on them. The bay doors begin to slide open slowly as you enter the room. With your helmet you are safe from the lack of oxygen but the heat and cloud of toxics and caustic poison pouring in does not look good.

Kaiya moves to the front of the King and his brother and works her way along the edge of the room to the passage out.
Makio places a gun behind two SBD heads as Teyjo does the same (the middle droid has two guns at his head). They fire on the droids point blank and the three drop forward. Being able to focus on one direction Kem and Gunthar's group down the officer and the droid to the east. Their area has been secured and cleared of Imperial forces.
Kaiya and the Shadormen flatten against the wall and stand perfectly still as the head of a Krayt swings into the corridor and the Kryat enters the room. 3 troopers are hanging from his large jaws and he enters the lair curls around his meal and begins to dine.

This is much better then last fight where Gunthar ran into gunthar sized Shiney box and got hurt.
On of the SHA-DOR men has grown quite fond of gunthar maybe new gunthar friend and asks gunthar "so big guy, how many have you clobber so far"
Gunthar frowns and tries to remember but it start to make him sad so he instead says "one, two, many, more. Gunthar do not count more"

Gunthar and his merry men are standing search the area and find no more mushroom heads to bash. There a door blocking access to area with more mushroom heads to bash. Gunthar remembers the white mushroom heads hurting him and his friends again and again and enjoys smashing them. He hears Teyjo calling,"We need the blast door opened Samarion so we can clear another area."
The door slides open but Samarion responds,"Kaiya is coming to join you please await her arrival. Oh Sith!" The comm shuts down.

As the Krayt enjoys its meal, Kaiya motions to the Shadormen and the group of them move out of the central area and heads towards the rest of the team. She comms "Samarion, knock out that Krayt now!"
Stev rushes into the cockpit of the final TIE fighter. Since he's dressed as a pilot and the dead pilots have not yet been discovered, he should have no problem avoiding the wrath of the other TIEs.
As he looks through the cockpit, he realizes he's only trained in X-Wing sims, so while he wants to set the TIE to self-destruct and run, he doesn't know where to begin looking. "Samarion, I need specs on the TIE controls now!"
Samarion yells "I cannot tend to everyone's problems at once! I only have two hands!" He then activates the lair zapper and hits the door unlock for the door near Gunthar's position, allowing him to progress.
Bifzik says "Turret defenses completed. Will assist Samarion now." and begins to search the database for the TIE's interior schematics. He relays the self destruct control's location to Stev and will then talk him through programming the timer. As he is explaining the technical minutiae, he also hits the door unlock for Stev's getaway. It would be most unfortunate if he were trapped within the hangar with an exploding TIE fighter.

The Kryat is zapped into submission. Kaiya and the Shador Rulers head south as they hear a servant droid rushing from the north. When he make sit to outside the lair he begins to make Bantha noises. Another serbant droid does this to the east and soon both Kryats are moving back to the lair.turning from the door they are awaiting to open.
Kayia and the noblemen join Teyjo and Makio in the rear of the group. The Shadormen cheer and embrace each other
Gunthar's door unlocks and the 4 troopers bent around a cutting torch on the other size are surprised to see him. They look up at Gunthar's massive frame with their white mushroom shaped helmets at perfect crushing level. Kem stands behind him and turns as the door opens but Gunthar blocks his e-web fire.

Stev jumps back through the closing door as the YIE fighter and the rest of the bay goes up in flames. The explosion is too good for even blast doors and the outer atmosphere is rushing into this section blowing back Stev and the SDB in the area. Anyone not protected in this area of the station will be killed by the atmosphere.

Stev begins to run in the direction of the security checkpoint. He figures he'll be in standard atmo there. "Team, don't go to the hangar sector. The TIE fighter just exploded with a magnitude that would make Boom blush, and the entire area's atmosphere is dangerous." He also makes a note to himself: If he ever make his own model of starfighter, he's including the force and radius of the self destruct's explosion in the schematics.
Kaiya lets the Shadormen have their moment and then speaks up. "We still need to regroup with the main attack force. Let's keep heading to their position."
Samarion will begin to look for any countermeasures to the atmosphere leak Stev mentioned that don't risk giving the Imperials any assistance.
Bifzik will wait to see if anyone on the team requires assistance. As he waits, he'll check from cam to cam in order to see what those troublesome Imperials are doing right now.

Gunthar instantly reacts like a nerf bull seeing red and charges in grabbing two troopers and slamming his body and them into a wall and evertone can hear thw snap of bones being crushed, if the other troopers haven't made a fear check, the certainly not moving making them sitting ducka for the others

Gunthar's Gang
As his arms raise crushing two troopers into the wall and e-web sticks forward and fires on the other two. As this range nothing much is left to know if they have fear.
The station shakes with an explosion and causes half of your group to fall or smash off the wall.
The group begins to move down the hall but begin to feel a burning along their skin and harshness in their throat. The air is moving with a quicker breeze and beginning to cloud.
"Hull breech, about face and double time group we need to get this area sealed." Kaiya barks orders turning around with the rest to return behind the security door. "Samarion get the door back open for use."
Stev in the Danger Zone
Stev heads north to the checkpoint and calls for Samarion,"Samarion open the security checkpoint then close when I make it through."
"The magic word?" Samarion says over the comm.
"What!?" is echoed by Stev and Kaiya.
"We are still civilized people."
"You just ate the warden." Kaiya states.
"I didn't swallow, the magic word please." Samarion states calmly.
"Now." Stev says with authority.
"Court-martial," Kaiya orders.
You both rush to closed blast doors.
"Please," Both finally state.
The doors slide open.

Stev rolls his eyes as he moves northwards to regroup with the team. He sympathizes with Samarion's desire to keep things polite, but that's a luxury one can't afford in life-or-death situations. He's just glad that stunt didn't get somebody cooked. He comms "Sorry about that, it turns out that Bifzik and I will have to put in a request for more detailed starfighter instruction manuals. I'm moving back to our mission control. How're the decoys doing with luring over the last two Krayts?"
