Ciro is dreaming of Rana and Keeg is making raunchy space shanties up about Dasha in his mind when his HUD registers a jump incoming. The jump point registers an incoming ship and the Aegis burst into real space. After some hellos and explanation the Aegis drops teams onto their assigned ore transport. The Aegis and X-Wings lock onto the large transports and it is a 2 hour trip starward to the planet. Inside the ore transport,s the teams have to survive the endless cheers and back pounding of the House Shador warriors (except Gorak who refuses bad slaps). You study the pictures of the nobles of House Shador knowing that to deliver at least one back to Kolatill is critical to the vote for independence.  The X-Wing and Aegis release there clamps and float free on minimum power. With the interference from the star's radiation you should be invisible to the scanners of the ore processing stations. As the transports approach you hear a crackled and broken interaction between the ore transports and the stations. It all seems to go according to standard procedures. The barren planet's dark side is blanketed in clouds of think smog. Producing the alloy for repulsorlifts and hyperdrive casings creates a level of pollution that can poison a planet. After hundreds of years the planet of Kotol II is covered in the smog and layers of metallic grit spewed from the stations. Between the darkness and the clouds you only see the lights of the stations as you near docking. The ore transport docks like the mast of sailing vessel towing overhead and maintain the slow movement of the station as they keep on the dark side of the planet. Three docking ports lock into the ship. One is the airlock that opens to the upper level of the station. One deposits the raw ore into the refinery level. The last will fill the hold with refined alloy to bring to factories on Kolatill. Each airlock has a large turbolift to carry people of cargo up and down from the ship. Food and supplies picked up from the last trip to Kolatill are loaded from the airlock to the top level. The crew of the station will be expecting an imperial officer and a stormtrooper to be supervising the unloading of the crates by 10 Shador slaves. Go to individual missions. |

Toric Shador- Son of Oric, took over for Baldric has head of rebellion once he came of age. Was tricked into an ambush and arrested 4 years ago. Lost his eye in a battle with the Empire. (Age 36)
Locain Shador- Son of Oric, was Toric's tactical advisor and brother. Was tricked into and ambush with Toric and was arrested 4 years ago. (Age 38)
Baldric Shador- Brother of King Oric, lead the first insurrection against the Empire after House Shador was shattered. Arrested 19 years ago after the an attempt to break his brother out of the station. (Age 62)
Oric Shador- King Oric, Was High Lord of Kathol before Empire. Has been incarcerated/ Enslaved for over 20 years on the Station. (Age 74)
Emleer Shador- Daughter of Oric, Was arrested with twin sister as soon as they came of age 10 years ago, (Age 28)
Maljor Shador- Daughter of Oric, Was arrested with twin sister as soon as they came of age 10 years ago. (Age 28)

Ciro and the Wings float free in space with the Aegis 2km away all listening to comm chatter from the 3 bases. You hear reports that the ore transports all docks successfully and sounds like business as usual so far. In the pollution covering the planet you can't detect anything with passive scanners and active scanners cannot be used. A turret on the stations or a fighter could target you are you never know until first fire. Without shields it could mean complete wipe out. You keep telling yourself that they can't see you either, but it is not making you feel any better. You stare at the comms data screen and wait for the dark box around each image to go green.

Pash sits floating in his X-Wing running cost estimates and a parts lists to fix his baby over and over. He knew he would get her back, but never thought it would be in such bad shape. Looking over the holographs he took of the damage he is now sure it was caused by Republic Torpedoes not Imperial Turbolasers or some sabotage. That means Omega Squad killed his ship. When this is over he vows his crew will talk with Omega Squad before they leave the FarStar.
Que sits next to Blu and extends his feelings out to the three stations. He can feel Gorak's irritation, Kem's anxiety and Sasha's indecision. He sends a wave of calm to Kem to help him come down and begin thinking instead of reacting.
"General, How is Lodor?" Blu asks.
"He is helping another," Que replies."Like he always has."
"He is his father's son," Blu states.
"No his mothers. She would jump head first at a Rancor to help another." Que drifts back to monitoring the groups.
Gabby practices her diction. She is disturbed that stress has caused her to "Go all Gungan" as her friends have explained. No understand what it is like to be Gungan. Some even use the J-word when talking about her. He who shall not be named. The Gungan who gave the Empire the power he needed to take control. The Gungan race has destroyed all record of him on planet. Still the rest of the galaxy when they think of Gungans think only of shudder Jar Jar.

Hummer replies with a few bleats "What the sith is a Zaxxon?" a few more bleeps "An evil super robot that fires missiles? Must be one of those Droid themed holodrama's"

As Ciro sits floating in his X-wing, he is worried about Pash. He didn't seem happy about seeing the YT shot up. "Hopefully he will keep his calm and remember we are at war, and don't always have the luxury of picking out how we disable our targets. Keeg's team did the right thing, but I am not sure Pash will see that." He hopes Ranna can calm him down. He is too good a pilot for them to loose right now. He makes a mental note to make sure to he talks to her before the mission debriefing. And to also make sure Pash and Keeg set down at opposite ends of whatever landing bay they use once this mission is over.

Que jerks out of his meditations. Standing he engages his space suits helmet and walks toward the airlock. "There is more below than expected. They will need me." He is out the airlock and diving down toward a the planet below.
Blu just smiles,"Good to see you back in the game General." He says to himself.
Jitonne and Analia rush the cockpit from the gunner turrets.
Jitonne "Did Que jump out of the ship!?"
Analia "Que just jumped out of the ship!"
Blu "Affirmative."
Jitonne "Is he supposed to do that?"

Ciro starts pondering his place in the universe. "Sithspawn, this sitting and waiting is getting boring. The ground pounders get all the fun. And when the action starts, it'll be up to us pilots to pull their carcass out of the gundark. And while they get all safe in their shuttles, we still get blasted by those stinking Imps. We've been lucky so far not to loose one of the squadron. Just give me something to vape."
Krayt starts beeping at him in response. "No, that wasn't an order to you, Krayt. But keep you sensor's alert" Krayt responds with a derisive burst of tweets. "Sorry, I know you always on alert. Just getting a little bored out here and getting all melancholy" Snapping out of it, he comes to a decision, "When we get back we are going to have a celebration, My pilots need to let their hair down. Life is short, and we are going to celebrate it. Kel might not like it, but too bad. My crew deserve it" And he begins to think about making things more official with Ranna.

Ciro and Keeg astromech sound and alarm. Their mechs note the spacesuited Que dropping from the Shuttle making a HALO drop from the Shuttle to the Station Gorak's unit is assigned below. They are under communications silence order till the nobles show green on their HUD with reports from the ground units that they are safe.
Que uses the force to nudge his body through the poisoned skies of Kotal II. He can feel the flare of darkness ripple through the force. It is a familiar hand directing the darkness. He remembers the young noble coming to him many years past. The force was strong in Locain, but his anger and need for vengeance was too great. Que vowed he would never train one with such fear and anger in him. He would never create an Anakin. He sent Locain away to return to his people. Someone has trained Locain and trained him in the darkness. As he approaches the station's high dome in the middle of the upper level he holds an old friend in each hand ready to ignite them and step into the battle again.
