OOC: PD13 ocular lense is dripping Fwit saliva and hotsauce so you have the impression of watering.

Maiko thinks the baby nexu look like a lot of work. "If you want to keep them, Lodor, great. But they're your responsibility."
She gets up and shouts to the rest of the group, "We've still got 2 bombs to take care of, people! One of the bombs is right by the door of the gas plant. Wipe the fwit spit off yourselves and let's move!" Maiko begins working her way toward the door.

Thirteen cleans his ocular lense and holo-carmera lenses with his lense cleaning kit from his utility belt, but he leaves the hot sauce on the rest of his hardened alloy carapace as Fwits repellent. The scratches on his lenses really stress his circuitry.. Slacker orders spare parts for self repair: 1 pcs. ocular lense filter and 3 pcs.holo-camera covers for express hover droid field delivery and charges DD-19s account. PD13 activates his tracking beacon for the hover droid and hustles towards gas plant door behind Makio.
Mechanics: Computers check to order spares for express field delivery and charge to DD-19's account. 4 successes.

OOC Just because it is awesome.
A Kathor Consortium Express Delivery Droid (EDD) arrives shortly buzzing around the SRV. The Deliverly driods plesent voice asks,"Would like any additions to your order? Right now we are offering the Alta Dyson mini action droid with a free multiaction Stev and a PD-13 plush slacker." His projection unit shows happy children listening the 1/2 meter Alta give a speech, the Stev figure jumps and bounces following children's orders, finally they are hugging the life sized plush PD-13 who whistles and tweets when they squeeze him. The commercial ends with the symbol of House Kathor and the words, "Buy them today."

Lodor comms in to PD13 "Well, if the overseer's generous to cover our charges, I'd really appreciate some travel cages and food for these baby Nexu. We definitely don't want them roaming around."
Suddenly Lodor realizes that they still have 2 bombs to deal with. "So...one of the bombs is right next to us, so who wants to head out and defuse it? I'm not sure how sensitive the pressure triggers of these bombs are, considering they're duds, but it might be a little risky to drive the SRV too close. I'm no bomb expert though, so I'm sure someone else has a better idea of how closely we can safely drive the SRV to the site without going boom."

OOC: Do we have the technical specs for these bombs? Do we know the make/model or are they special? What do kind of bombs are they?

OOC: Well, if I remember right from first contact it said that they were conventional style bombs, but they were designed to not immediately detonate in order to expel a bioagent that promotes growth of all biological substances. I'm not sure if they're designed avoid detonation after multiple impacts though. Sivu, Hasselock, and Boom have worked with a number of the bombs, and Bifzik has worked with one, albeit unsuccessfully, so they may be able to provide the necessary details if you comm them.

Mechanic: Coercion Hard check 1 success 2 advantage
A very stern and cross Gorak bellows a statement for all to hear "Frak the baby nexu, Kriff the Kriffing Nexu, Jactna the whole SIthspit zoo. We got a job here to do and dont have time to make a Menagerie. if you don't take care of those Bombs and the powerplant those baby nexu can suck on my blaster barrel while i pull the trigger"
Even Lowggrr reconizes when Gorak is quite upset as he has had a few of these tirades, next step us usually followed by blaster fire. must be mad his Lunch has been ruined, and can go suck on his fist if he wants some sauce back
Gorak Quieries the other parties in the SRV and gets a brief synopsis of the Bomb from Sivu and relays the information to PD-13

Gorak's orders finally break Lodor out of Uncle Lodor mode and back into soldier mode. "Yes sir. My apologies sir."
He climbs back into the SRV and reassumes his position at the cannon, and begins watching over the Rancor to make sure it doesn't change its mind about making the SRV its dessert.

Slacker runs decision algorithim and determines that the best odds of successful bomb deactivation is with support from Sivu. (OCC: No offense Bifzik.) Thirteen establishes comlink with Sivu and requests engineering support for "fly by wire" bomb deactivation and begins streaming his live 360 holo-video camera feed.
Mechanics: Computter check result: 1 1triumph and nothing else.

The EDD droid still hovers trying to sell you action figures as PD-13 crawls back into the bed of the SRV.
Jitonne sheepishly hands the nearly empty hot sauce bottle and crunched lunchbox back to Gorak, "Sorry."
He climbs into the cab alone slamming the door on anyone else who would try to get in with him. Contacting Sivu and Boom he receives information to aid PD-13 in deactivating the bomb (Boom has a 4 skill in bombs and is the foremost expert but only PD-13 understands what he says).
A second EDD arrives with cages, soft blankets, and a case of nexu formula. Lodor places the newborns in the cages and attached the formula bottle to the side. He notes P-13 bought the deluxe version with the Fwit exercise wheel and dangling chew toy. Lodor places them in the bed and then crawls into the gunnery turret.
Lowwggrr is slowly sliding into the bed of the SRV and Jitonne is breaking out the med kit.
Makio gives the hybrid gunner a nice long eye roll then sits in the SRV bed next to the Nexu cages and tries not to admit how cute they are.
Samarian finishes pushing the Nexu carcass out of the back and squeezes into the other turret.
Fang and Kl'aal enjoy a little raw Nexu and then scout ahead of the SRV preferring to run free.
You make it the short distance to the first bomb without incident.
Deactivating the bomb is 2D and 1C. A despair means the bomb will self destruct. It will not blow up from shaking or movement only if tampered with. The explosion is only frag grenade sized and not the size of a normal TIE bomber munition payload. Most of the bomb is filled with the catalyst.

Thirteen attempts to deactivate the first bomb per Sivu and Boom's instructions. PD13 seems to be sweating,...no that is the rodian hot sauce.
Mechanics: Mechanics check with boost from live Engineering support: 2 successes and 3 advantages. The result of two purples was 1 failure and 1 disadvantage. Net result 1 success and 2 advantages. Will apply advantages to next mechanics check.

PD-13 stops the bomb from releasing the catalyst. He could attempt to remove the explosive materials to give them to boom (boom likes them) with a 3d check or just leave them. They will not explode unless someone messes with them.
The SRV sees a group of 4 speederbikes coming from the west. The easily identify them as Baraduk, Sivu, Boom, and Teyjo (they are a pretty easy to identify group). They will arrive shortly. Looking at the map you see the second bomb dropped right in the middle of the zoo. The same zoo that has Nexu prowling the monorail tracks. They are watching you but no Nexu have approached since the combat.

Thirteen attempts to harvest the high explosive material from the bomb for Boom. Thirteen hopes this will improve there relationship and he can gain cred with Boom, Mechanics: mechanics check with boost from Engineer support and boost from last check. 2 successes, 5 advantages, 3 disadvantages.. Net result 2 successes and 2 advantages. Thirteen puts explosive payload in his backpack, hoping Boom can teach him how to weaponize it.

As Sivu arrives, he notices PD13's success and remarks "That is an impressive achievement, especially considering that demolition skill should not be part of your programming. Then again, I suspect you have evolved beyond your programming in a variety of ways..."
As Sivu speaks the word "evolved", an idea for dealing with the Nexu strikes his brain. "Ensign Kintor, I require your assistance."
Lodor gets out of the SRV and walks up to Sivu, asking "What do you need?" at which point Sivu grabs one of Lodor's head tendrils and holds the gas scanner up to it.
Lodor exclaims "Hey, what do you think you're doing!?", to which Sivu replies "Solving our problem."
"Ensign Kintor, it seems that your unusual heritage has paved the way for you to possess a unique mutation. While Nautolan pheromonal glands are designed to transmit signals through water, and have very limited use on land, yours do the opposite, and more closely resemble those of a Zeltron. This is why you have been using them so effectively on land. Since you have spent time with the Nexu pups, it is possible that you could reproduce that pheromonal signature in order to activate the maternal and paternal instincts of the Nexu nearby. Since they still rely on optical senses, they would immediately assume you threatened the pups once they see you, causing them to attack you without concern for tactics or their own safety. This would lure the Nexu out of cover, allowing a group of bomb defusal experts to sneak past. You could potentially even do so while remaining in the safety of the SRV, as long as your gunnery hatch was open. Since the SRV is swift, it could likely keep the Nexu chasing for a very long time."
Sivu pauses for a moment, as he realizes he has gotten carried away. "This is...just an informed suggestion for a course of action. Any operation plans are decided upon by the Chief, of course. While I endorse this plan, I will fully submit to the decision of Chief Khzam."
