 Remember first to post is first to use an slot. The map shows the Nexu after this round's movement. 1GM Nexu movement is already shown on the map. 3 or the final 4 Nexu strain themselves rushing to the SRV one makes it to the rear and jump on the back biting at Samarian. The teeth just graze the Kelvassian (1 wounds). The fourth Nexu growls a challenge to Fang and readies his attack if Fang approaches. 5PC PD13 continues down the hall. A couple of Fwits look to him as they rush toward Lowggrr but PD13's stunner discourages them. He sees a ramp that leads up to the shut off values. (he will reach it next round) Fang launches himself at the Nexu. He leaps over the Nexu's bite and lands with both claws on it's head. (8 wounds first claw, 8 wounds 2nd claw, crit overwhelm), He strikes the Nexu again ripping with both claws on it's forearm. (6 wounds, 6 wounds, crit maimed) ripping it's forearm off. The creature is dying at his feet. Makio notices the Nexu is obviously very pregnant. Samarian draws his Kelvassian triblades and attacks the Nexu. (5 wounds, 5 wounds, crippled) He strikes with both blades ripping into the Nexu's forearm and crippling it. He does mis-step and is jostled closer to the Nexu's teeth than he would like. (boost to Nexu's next attack) The Nexu is engaged with Samarian. 2 more PCs before the Rancor chases Kl'aal 1GM 1PC 1GM 3PC 2GM |

"We are dealing with the NEXU, I Have no time to fix lunch and deliver!"
Gorak see's no one manning the SRV laser cannons and the Bantha, and the Rancor and realizes there is not enough fire power at the moment with everyone engages in hand to hand. Making hard left turn with the SRV to clear the Port side gun for action. He brings up the Port side Laser cannon remote control and aims it at the NEXU that is not engaged with anyone. it is a bit tricky but he manages to clip the Nexu with a blast causing massive amounts of Damage but causing everyone on the SRV to lose some balance from the unbalanced blast.
Gunnery check (I am making this a hard 3D check)= 1 success, 2 threats causing vehicular damage to the Nexu turing it into ground texture

"Wait until they land, got it." Lodor follows a Nexu with his cannon, waiting for his chance. He sees it land, but unfortunately that's the same moment the SRV starts rocking. Amazingly, the rocking actually sets the SRV perfectly level with the Nexu, setting up a perfect shot for Lodor. He capitalizes on it, and the Nexu goes much the way the last one he fired on did. It's something of a shame, since Lodor heard Nexu is a delicacy on some planets.
Mechanics: 3P1A1B vs 1D1S. Net results 1 triumph, 3 successes, 1 advantage.

2 more PCs before the Rancor chases Kl'aal
Gorak spins sideways and Lodor takes the shot. Lodor vaporizes the Nexu and Gorak destroys the second one racing at the SRV leaving just the one in the truck bed with Samarian.

The Rancor moves forward and chases Kl'aal. (opposed athletic check) The Rancor stomps after the Defel not noticing the instability of the crater he reaches for Kl'aal as the ground shifts below him and he rolls, shifts, and slides to the bottom of the crater dropping his dead Bantha that rolls after him.

Jitonne crawls inside the SRV and grabs Gorak's lunch. She goes to run out the side door when the SRV bounces and spins her out the doorway. She rolls and lands on the ground scrambling to get back up and rush toward the plant. (takes 2 strain to move twice)
1GM
Fwits pile onto Lowwgrr. He looks like a life day tree with Fwit ornaments hanging off of him. Lowggrr crushes the life from another Fwit but they bite and lick acid saliva on the Wookie (12 wounds and 1 strain, total of 15 wounds of 22)
3PC
Kl'aal runs back inside the gate and blends into the shadows.
Lowggrr drops and rolls over the Fwits crushing 6 of them though it strains him. (2 strain for 3 total strain) They still will not release him, living and dead Fwits still hang on.
Makio fires around the doorway at the Fwits not on Lowggrr. She stuns three Fwits but over half of the 60 Fwits are still up attacking Lowggrr.

The Bantha in the yard is scared back out by the cannon fire.

 PD13 will reach the shutoff values and turn the gas off. In about a half hour the city will be safe from gas fires. 1GM Last Nexu maimed in one arm bites at Samarian it misses him but Samarian falls backward into the truck and the Nexu falls on top of him pinning the Starwolf. 5PC PD13 turns off the gas reaches for his cigar but self preservation protocols warn that it is probably still not a good idea to light up in a gas plant. 1GM 1PC 1GM 3PC 2GM |

"Somebody just bring us that damn hot sauce so we can get rid of these fwits!" Maiko is exasperated. She is used to having her orders promptly followed.
In the meantime, Maiko continues firing on the fwits, until someone has the sense to bring her the stupid hot sauce.

The thinking she splashes a little on herself feeling it burn at her skin. The smell makes her eyes water, disorients her, and helps her understand why Rodian's have such bad breath.
Lowggrr weakly roars a complaint but then all living Fwits connected to him cough, gag, and rush away from the Wookie. They sniff Jitonne as the rush north. Lowggrr begins to break the jaws of the dead Fwits still attached to him removing them one by one.

Well, since there's only 1 Nexu left and the rancor's in a crater, Lodor moves out of his gunner seat and replicates Klaal's jump onto the injured Nexu. With one hand, he holds onto the Nexu's fur, and with the other he starts stabbing.
"Wow, I never thought I'd be part of a rodeo!"
Mechanics: Athletics Check 1P2A vs 2D. Net Result 1 success 3 advantages. Applying boost die to melee check.
Melee Check 2P1A vs 3D. Net Result 1 triumph 2 successes. 2 hits for 6 damage each, pierce 2.

Lodor leaps from the top of the SRV onto the nexu in the truck bed he stabs repeatedly for 12 wounds. 1GM The Rancor is turning to crawl back up sees his lunch and his last lunch and just sits back down and starts eating. His rage did not over his want to eat. 1PC Gorak turns the SRV south and heads toward the gas plant door. 1GM The Bantha is moving back north to the better grazing grounds they started at. 3PC Samarian grunts as Lodor's weight is added to the mass of the Nexu on top of him. He strains to push it off and is trapped underneath. Fang runs toward the SRV. Kl'aal is running toward the SRV. Makio hears the dying Nexu grunt softly and sees she is having contractions. next round |

Thirteen finishes the emergency gas shut down protocol with integrated holicams rolling. Then swings over to the team using the plants overhead crane and firing his integrated holdout set for stun to disengage the Fwits from the Wookie like an Alta Dyson holovid.
Mechanics: Coordination check: 1 success, 3 advantages used for panache.
Light ranged check: 1 success, 1 advantage.

Last Nexu maimed in one arm bites at Samarian who is pinned beneath him. It bites the starwolf Samarian (3 wounds, total 4 wounds 2 strain) but in arching down at him he lets Samarian slide half out from under him.
5PC
PD13 sees the tracked crane on the ceiling and fires his grapple at it. It begins to slide down the track with him swinging behind. He turns his voice modulator to music mode and begins playing "the Hero of the Alliance" theme song. He passes over the fleeing Fwits stunning 2 more as he passes overhead. He flips in the air and lands hands on his hips "superman" pose then is splashed in the forward sensors with hotsauce by Jitonne.
Jitonne splashes hotsauce on PD13 and asks if the droid could turn down the music a little.

Lodor keeps stabbing, landing a slice right at a particularly important part of the Nexu's nervous system. It's not going to be feeling so alert for a long time.
Mechanics: Melee Check 2P1A vs 3D. Net result 1 triumph 2 successes. So, only 1 hit, but the critical Knocked Senseless activates, staggering the Nexu for the battle. Also, 6 more damage pierce 2.

Lodor stabs the Nexu again and again. Fang jump into the back of the SRV and rips out the thought of the last Nexu. Lowggrrr, PD13, and Jitoone have eyes watering from the hotsauce as they shuffle to the door of the power plant and see Makio standing watching the Nexu drop one, two, three baby Nexu before the Nexu breaths her last breath.  You know you still have a 2 bombs to dismantle and a power plant to restore, but at least buildings will stop blowing up from gas leaks. |

OOC: How are PD13's eyes watering? I guess he's really committed to acting the part of a human.
After Lodor pushes the Nexu off of Samarian, he sees the Nexu babies drop and yells over to Makio "Three Nexu, well that's perfect! I could bring those three as pets for Tevan, Jeniaya, and Mikal! After I clean up this Nexu here, I think I got a good enough whiff of it to recreate the Nexu pheromones relatively well, so I think I can keep them calm."
Lodor's pretty excited about this idea, because three trained battle-Nexu would be excellent protection for the children while Lodor is away on missions, and he'd feel much more comfortable leaving them alone. He's worried about them enough while he was waiting on the Aegis earlier.
