You do have iron chains on them (stops magic) and a nice cell block. Just say the proper password (the Baron knows it) to not awaken the Magma elements that guard it. The beds are a little old but goblins prefer to sleep on the floor in a pile so they at least do not smell like Goblin. Sinruth's tower was actually cleaned up and proper except for the puddle of urine on the floor.

OOC: Ok so what's the next steps then? We'll rest, split loot, and then we're going through a portal back to Brindol for now?

OOC: Does the Baron want to hand the gnomes off to the clown patrol back in Brindol, or decide what to do with them himself?

Izzy asks the Baron and the old wizard thinks for a moment,"They will need to face judgement, but they also have been working in the Keep for the past month. They know more about it than anyone else. They now it's traps and have through it's labs. They can be a source of information for us. I would prefer to keep them."
OOC: Once you are ready we can fast forward to after the rest and gaining level to the return to Brindol. Once concluded the original most of you were in Brindol was passing through to answer a call for adventures, soldiers, and heroes by Bordin's Watch. It is Orc season and the Dwarf pay well for those who will thin the tribes.

OOC: Other questions for the DM -what did the gnomes have on them? Loot/clues/etc? And what's the specs on the "few rings of evil look and design , a metal headband that has metal pieces that curl around the ears, and a scale armor woven with decorations of sea animals and shells"? Also, the crown they were talking about was the dragonhelm that got swiped from the museum, correct?
For the crew, the cash from the blob divvys up to 3pp, 171gp, 430sp, 42cp apiece for all seven of us. If Olly's throwing his 100 gp into the kitty, that adds another 14 gp, 2 sp, 8 cp each. Which is actually better than the 400 gp that the council and lady Isidoro were offering (which, assuming they don't screw us over, will come out to 57 gp, 1 sp, 4 cp each).

-what did the gnomes have on them? Loot/clues/etc? The Gnomes have normal mage gear. They claim they can create potions and other alchemical abilities. They are skilled at polymorph potions, basic healing, and invisibility. They offer to create potions for the chance to be freed after.
And what's the specs on the "few rings of evil look and design- Just jewelry to sell or wear. metal headband that has metal pieces that curl around the ears- IF you put it on you can understand any language. scale armor woven with decorations of sea animals and shells- Armor of the Mariner the crown they were talking about was the dragonhelm that got swiped from the museum- Yes

They will not screw you over so add it to the kitty (unless you really mess up).

OOC: So, what's everybody interested in from the magic items? If nobody claims the scale armor, I can pick it up. Admittedly though, taking disadvantage on Stealth to slightly improve my AC isn't the best tradeoff, so I'm willing to pass if anybody else wants it. Also, thanks to the name, I'm now imagining the armor just being Namor's green scaly speedo.
Furthermore, I strongly recommend collecting the pay before BA sneaks into town. I have a strong feeling he'll be doing that "really mess up" stuff mentioned, at least to the Lord Warden. He didn't exactly like that guy to begin with, so recent events have only made things worse. A lot worse.

Hm. If nobody's got a real hankering for the tiara of translating, Izzy could use that. Anybody digging on the Mariner's Armor? Textbook version's got no armor bonus, but the wearer gets a swim speed equal to their base movement, and an emergency floatation deal if they hit 0 hitpoints when they're underwater. Izzy tried a quick appraise on the evil-looking rings [Int check total: 16], about how much should we be able to get for them?
So final kitty totals for all of us go like this: 3 PP, 242 GP, 433 SP, 54 CP each. Good haul, really. What do we wanna do in town (besides schmooze the council) before we head over to Bordin's Watch for some ethnic cleansing?

+1 speedo of namor start doing situps now.
Paelius is a jeweler and gives an assist (I added 2 to the result). The rings would fetch 110 to 200 gold each from a normal jeweler. In a larger city you could find someone with an interest in the outer dimensions or an follower of evil creatures who would pay 2 or 3 times the amount.

So, do we wanna drop them now for the quick cash, or save them for later? We're ok for cash now, so Izzy's leaning towards just holding on to them for now and getting the big payout whenever we get to a city. A handful of rings is easier to carry than a bag of gold, anyway. How many are there? What's the rest of the crew feeling?

I'm good for waiting to maximize profit on the rings. Malik is quite happy and nothing useful for Oloric so whoever wants the other items.
I guess we should get to the council and collect the cash and tell them what happened and then see what's next.

Izzy and Fargrim are going through.
OOC: I'll keep running Fargrim for the time being. We'll need a healer-bot, and I don't mind running the beardo.

OOC: Waiting to sell for later gain sounds good. Speaking of waiting for later, BA'll wait a bit in the hopes that the hostages' return will provide a big enough distraction for him to sneak by. Either that, or he'll try to figure out how to use this blasted magic portal so he can go somewhere with less imminent peril.
