PC Paelias attacks slowing and damaging a goblin that was already hit by Sertanin's missile the creature dies frozen to the beam overhead. GM A formally unseen goblin pounces from the beams onto Sertanin. The old mage and historian is slammed to the ground by the force and the Goblin's short mace slams into his skull. The goblin then flips a knife at one of the guards that bounces off his shield. (Extra Success with first attack allowing second attack) PC Fargrim pulls his crossbow back missing the set hook. The string pops back snappling against his finger and shooting the half knocked bolt weakly flutters into the air and drops on the replica of Elsir Vale. His bolt is now buried into the Rhest marshes. 2 GM 2 goblins drop from the rafters onto the golden lions below. The first lands on the lion's shoulders and sinks her dagger into his shoulder. He drops to one knee. The second lands on the lion's upturned shield and his dagger misses in the attack. PC The Lions rushes to the wall with the Goblin still hanging on the shield. He smashes the goblin against the wall and follows with a satisfying crunch, GM another goblin piles onto the Lion already struck the Lion goes down to the ground as the goblin stabs her dagger deep into his helmet. PC a Lion rushes to his friend on the ground and completely misses the goblins with his strike. GM a goblin pounces on the Lion stabbing him on the back. PC The Lion on the ground tries to attack and fails. GM Goblin on rafter throws a dagger at Fargrim the knife sinks into his shoulder (4hp). The Goblin then drops a small jar onto the Elsir Vale replica. It burst into flame and smoke, 2PC The Last Golden Lion rushes to Sertanin's aid and the goblin ducks his sword strike. Sertanin's grabs the goblin's forehead and his hand bursts into flame reducing the goblins head to ash. The Golden Lion pulls up his shield too late and is also burned by Sertanin's hands of flames. 6GM pairs of Goblins drop onto the 2 golden lions still standing. The Lions are stabbed multiple times each. 2 goblins drop onto the museum cases and toss daggers at Paelias. (OC they roll a 7 and a 8) The daggers hit the walls far from the elf mage. There are many more goblins than you or the Golden Lions expected. next round

OOC: we're waiting for the remaining goblins and guards to do their turn. Paelias says to the guards: "there are still a couple of goblins above you, take care that they don't drop onto you!"

Paelias says in elvish: "Sleepy, sleepy hollow, now go to rest and rise tomorrow" moving his hands and throwing a pinch of fine sand at a point in the middle of the three goblins on the museum displays.
OOC: I can affect all three with a sleep spell, cause the spell works up to 20 feet. Rolled 5d8= 29

PC- The three goblins each curl up in there display case and drift to sleep.
GM- The goblins finishes the Golden Lion on the ground with extraordinary success. She rushes past the other Golden Lion climb up the side of the wall above Fargrim and lands on the shelf behind Paelias. She throws her dagger from there right into the back of Paelias. His robes catch most of the blade and he is just scratched. (2hp damage)
PC- Next!

Fargrim rips the nasty goblin knife from his shoulder, keeping an eye at the goblin running past him to attack the elf mage. He has to make a quick decision; Paelias sure knows his magic, but Fargrim is less than sure his flimsy robes can protect him very much, yet the Lions seem to be in a lot of trouble. No time time to think twice, he charges past Paelias at the goblin on the shelf behind him, swinging his mace.
Attack roll: 17 against AC 13 (a simple success). Damage: 6 HP.
OOC: I should probably start using some magic soon. Just getting the hang of the system.

Paelias doesn't see a good way to cast a sleep spell again, so he thinks better of it, and starts a simple invocation while pointing his hands at the ledge behind him. The goblin is suddenly enveloped in a small cloud of green smoke.
OOC: cast poison spray cantrip, goblin should save constitution against DC 13, for d12 damage if failed.

OC: SHe rolls a 2 and takes 11 damage.
The cloud of green smoke envelopes the goblin. The creature chokes croaks and falls off the shelf at your feet very dead.
GM the goblin stabs the Lion in the corner and finishes him. SHe then runs to the sleeping goblin near her and screams "Wake up!"
PC: Fargrim you have a goblin on your head.

OOC: Yeah, and I'm at 1 HP as well! Just read yesterday that early levels in 5e can be quite deadly, haha.
Mustering strength through the pain, Fargrim touches the goblin grappling his neck, snarling a single word imbued with divine authority: "Flee!" If the spell works, he moves around the flaming diorama towards Sertanian to help; if not, Fargrim smashes his back against the nearby shelves, trying to shake off the free-riding goblin.
Roll: This is the Command spell, the goblin should make a DC 13 wisdom saving throw or flee from Fargrim on it's next turn. Could you roll that, please, DM? If you want I can make such rolls in the future, to speed things up.

OOC: You can roll it in the future to keep things moving. His 10 does not do it.
The goblin leaps off landing on the wall. He climbs the ceiling and is heading for the open skylight.
Fargrim moves through the smoke to the form of Sertanian. The smoke is getting dangerously heavy soon and the fire is spreading across the map.

Fargrim and Paelias see a shadow fall over the open skylight. Looking up they a tall dark cloaked figure with a longbow at the ready standing on the roof.
The goblin by a fallen Lion rushes to the last lion and surrounds him with his friend. Both Goblins strike the Lion and he falls beside Sertanin at Fargrim's feet.

Evidently, the cloaked figure heard and understood the nature of Fargrim's mighty command, for he ignores the fleeing goblin rushing up the skylight in favor of firing an arrow at each of the goblins that slew the Lion. He then calls out in a low voice "Come beasts! Let's see if you can handle prey more dangerous than a Golden Lion!" in an attempt to draw the goblins' attention away from the injured.
He'll then holster his bow in favor of a shield and rapier as he waits for the goblins to accept his challenge.
Mechanics: Attack Roll with advantage (surprise attack). Higher roll is 14+7=21 vs AC 13. Damage: 9. Extraordinary success, so second attack (without advantage, sadly). Attack is 13 vs AC 13. Damage: 6.
OOC: Sorry to introduce myself with a rule check, but since you can draw/sheathe a weapon "in tandem with your movement and action", if you use your movement to draw another weapon, does another free draw action come with that, or is it like a bonus action, where you only get one per round? If the latter, I'll just holster the bow and draw the shield.
