<OOC: Sorry I was offline all weekend. Sick with flu. Didn't touch my laptop for two whole days>
"This is Lt. Ciro here, Farstar Command. We have some injured here. Requesting permission to come aboard and deposit our cargo. 2 X-Wings and 1 Defender."
"Carne, excellent piloting on your rescue, wish I had done as well"
"Krayt, take a look at that rear stabilizer. I hope it wasn't too damage in that rescue." Krayt responds with a bunch of beeps and bleeps that Noel really doesn't want to translate. He know the little droid doesn't always understand why he puts the ship at such risk for a single life.
Mechanics: Piloting (Rescuing one 3P1Avs2D = Net 5 Success 2 Threat - Strain damage) Carne Piloting (2P2Avs2D = Net 3 Success 1 Triumph)

PD13 over Comms: Aegis has been called back to the FarStar to regroup. We need to load all equipment and personnel back onboard Aegis for immediate departure.
Slacker locks Aegis' sensors onto DD-19's lifeboat. Slacker runs an extrapolation of the lifeboat's trajectory to deduce DD-19's destination and ETA.
Mechanics: Computer check for sensor lock on lifeboat and trajectory analysis with bonus because it is a lifeboat with distress signal designed to be found. Rolls: 1 Triumph, 2 Advantages, gets 1 success from Triumph. Saves advantages for target lock, just in case.

PD13-The lifeboat is at the jump point and will dock in the next 3 minutes. PD13 will not arrive with the Aegis for 20 minutes because he is on planet.
Ciro- (No problem!) The flight deck confirms your docking. Soon you are opening your canopy and Ensign Hydan and an Engineer he has never met squeeze out. Ciro pulls himself out after them and notes the flight deck is very empty for a red alert condition. Only Brophar and Cobb are there along with just Geena and Raso as the medical staff.
Carne lands beside him and unloads 3 crewmen he somehow fit in the cockpit and cargo area. "Man I feel like canned fish. You know after hours in the cockpit I think I smell like canned fish." Ciro believes as a Mon Calamari Carne pretty much always smells like fish.
Thyte brings one after another out of the 2 person defender,"I had to drop all of the torps in cargo but i think we can collect them later."
The flight deck looks like a warzone with bodies laying or slumped around the vessels and 2 lone medics doing all they can.
Ciro receives a comm to meet in the officer's deck.

Vandal and Lodor- A defender docks with the lifeboat and the wookie Chanaraik steps through to take over the helm. You pull back into the lifeboats emergency dock in the reconstituted science lab. As the lifedock is secure the airlock opens and the droid rushes out pushing through the medical staff trying to enter.
You note the medical staff consist of Lt Derk Arac who is a biologist and no longer raving about obscure science concepts, and a red head Warrant Officer Varel Devay who rarly leaves the hydroponics bay. Both seem competent as they prepare the crewmen to move.
"Captain wants everyone involved in this event in the officer's lounge ASAP," Varel explains.

Upon stepping out of the lifeboat, Vandal holstered her pistol on her right thigh and saluted the Lieutenant and Warrant Officer. After Varel finished, her reply was a quick and clear "Acknowledged and understood." in a modulated monotone, no hints as to what was going on beneath that visor. Her walk had a certain urgency to it, alternating between a brisk walk when she needed to get past people and a light jog when the people were not remotely in the way. She was not remotely pleased, and after having stunned the Captain while they weren't lucid, she personally doubted that the Captain was in as much of a good mood as she was. For better or worse, she wasted no time making her way to the Officer's Lounge.

Lodor is so focused on continuing to monitor the injuries that it takes him a moment to even realize that they've docked, but when they do, he lets out a deep sigh of relief. He looks over at Vandal and says "Well, it looks like we did it. The ship's in one piece, and the crew aren't trying to kill each other...more than normal. The Captain better not tell us that we ever have to deal with that again."
Lodor starts to move away, but then he realizes that there's two scientists stuck moving six injured crewmen, so he says "You don't exactly look ready to carry six people on your own. I know Captain said ASAP, but how about I give you a hand bringing these six to medical? I wouldn't be too upset at a chance to check on the kids and the old timers anyway."

Stev drives the SRV into the Aegis and steps out of it, only to be surprised by the announced presence of the FarStar. "We were supposed to carry out the mission and then head back to them. How are they here?" He activates his comm "FarStar, first we have hyperdriveless Defenders jumping to our position, and now you've somehow arrived. What happened, and how?"
----
Sivu stays with the recovered artifacts during the unloading process, and after everyone settles into the Aegis he'd like to take some preliminary scans to look for energy output, radiation signatures, etc. Since they seem to react specifically with this planetoid, he plans on gathering as much data on site as possible in order to compare it to when they depart.

PD13 pilot Aegis to the FarStar. Once around the other side of the planet, Slacker tries to pick up transmissions from the pit droid excavation team and sends his team series of work orders. Thirteen asks Theta and Stev to watch his back in casei that bully DD-19 attempts to attack him when they arrive on the FarStar.
Mechanics: Computers check to establish two way communication with his excavation team Rolls 2 successes.

Lodor- Chan also offers to aid in moving and the four of you move the 6 crewmen to the medical bay. You see that the medical bay has switched from sedated crewmen with mental difficulties to crewmen with a variety of physical injuries. The only medical crew you do not see active is Dr. Arkanseh. He lays sedated on one of the medical bunkers. You find the children are helping any way they can the medical crew. The other noticeable occurrence is Gunthar slumped in a corner.

Vandal- The walk from science bay through the lower bridge and to the officer lounge is far less crowded than expected. The medical team is the largest group she finds. As she walked through the science lab she notes a blanket draped over what looks like the lower half of a body on one side of a wall and the upper half of the body on the other. The lower bridge barely has one crewman per station. Arriving at the Officer's Lounge she notes she is one of the first to arrive. (please go to intermission one: Sign at the Crossroads).

"Carne, you saved quite a few of our crewmates. I think they can stand the little extra odor. I am not sure how you fit them inside your box." Looking over the landing bay, he is concerned about the rest of his squadron. "Carne, see what you can do here. Something very strange is going on here, I am going to check on rest of the Rancor's before heading to Officer's Lounge"
Carne turns and heads to his squad's quarters while Carne looks for ways to help the medics.

The Aegis- On the way the ship relays security feeds and data of the FarStar time in the hyperspace pocket. Stev watches in almost disbelief.
Sivu scans and notes that a power signature like the one reported on the ship is moving 2km above the planets surface slowly dropping. From his prediction of it's trajectory it will land at the Ruins of Kastays. Sivu notes a second power signature moving 2km above the HQ. It is also heading for the Ruins.
From his "cell" you hear the Dr. Brunou screaming,"Where is it! Where did you put it!"
As you dock you note a droid security detachment is waiting and 2 medical crewmen are working on crewmen already brought on deck by Ciro, Carne, and Thyte. Brophar and Cobb are the only mechanics and both look up from the X-wings they are working on as the Aegis pulls through the force shield. The Aegis bay doors barely open when the Security droids march forward.

When he sees the droids heading in, Stev whispers to PD13 "Don't worry, I'll handle this." and exits the cockpit, closing the door behind him. Hopefully my promotion was high enough to countermand a droid's orders. He looks at the K4s and states "I'm glad to see you've come to assist in the transport of Dr. Brunou. He's already raving, and he doesn't even know the worst part of his situation yet. Escort him to the brig and stand guard over him until commanded to do otherwise. I don't want him to try anything that could cause more problems for the ship." As he relays his orders, Stev makes sure to place himself blocking the path to the cockpit, just in case.
----
Sivu maintains tracking on the other power signatures, and at this point he's determined that it would be unwise to let the tablet they still have leave his care. However, considering the...troublesome nature of the Plaque of Victory, which would probably make the rest of the crew unwilling to allow him to bring it aboard, he decides to stay on the Aegis to watch over it while it remains contained.
----
Lodor thinks about rushing to the kids for a hug, but he realizes he'd get in the way of their work. At least it looks like the old men and I raised those three right after all. Not many kids have the guts to step up like they are right now. When he sees Gunthar, he notes that the poor guy was probably the only one who wanted that artifact to stick around.
Lodor walks up and with the height difference, only has to crouch a little to be face-to-face with Gunthar. "Hey buddy. I'm sorry we couldn't keep that thing around so you could think clearly, but it was hurting everybody else. Besides, I'm sure that part of you is in there somewhere, we'll just need to find a way to get it out without anybody else getting hurt because of it. It'll only be a matter of time big guy. Trust me."

Slyer will ensure all data is retained so it can be analyzed later. Continues to support the Captain and help the crew get back to their posts.
Krudar will take inventory of his gunners, crew, droids, and condition of guns, then report findings to bridge.
