Boom traces the explosion back to its source. Sivu and Boom notice the area has evidence of research equipment like some kind of lab/ medical facility. Looking through the rubble they find a damaged computer server. Normally companies keep information on the holonet (cloud) this is a closed computer system.
Stev finds a small safe that has collapsed through the rubble. He can see through the dirt and burned marks it still has a biohazard sign and radioactive symbol on it.

Sivu states "Clearly, whatever they were researching was of the utmost importance. If I can find this information, it could be of great use to the FarStar." He will attempt to hook up the server to his datapad in order to see if anything of worth can be found. He's anticipating some hefty encryption and firewalls, so he'll be careful about it.
When Stev sees the safe he takes a few steps back. "Everyone get back! If that safe has even the smallest crack, it could be dangerous. Sivu, can that scanner we used to look for the Invisibles pick up on radiation?"

Sivu- Sivu looks at the computer and determines it probably has high levels of security and a self destruct program. computer vs. 2d and 2c if he fails it will damage the computers memory. Despair and it begins security wipe.
Sigurd is probably your best choice to detect radioactive or biological hazards. 2d vs medical. Though Stev also has some medical training.

Sivu does not desire to experience an explosive death, so he begins to disconnect the computer's equipment to take aboard the FarStar so a team of their best slicers can deal with it. As he does this, he responds to PD13. "Did the security footage display the ship, or did the computers pick up on its transponder code? If the Imperials chose to delay the shutdown of the Aegis' systems until they safely made contact with their own ship, it is possible that it can be tracked. Otherwise, we cannot know which of the thousands of ships in orbit they used. If the search bears fruit, our allied TIEs and Defenders could likely hunt down and disable the hostile ship rather hastily."
Stev holds out a hand when he sees the others ready to move in to assist. "Wait. If this is radioactive, the less of us that are exposed to it, the better. Let me try a preliminary reading to see if it's safe for anyone else to approach."
Mechanics: Medicine Check 1P1A1B vs 2D. Net result 1 success 1 advantage.

Sigurd uses his scanner. 2G, 2Y= 3 success green and 3 on yellow, 6 total, zero advantage, zero Tri, don't know if talents or scanner give bonus? Thinking zero in advantage is going to bite us but all I got were S's. 2d difficulty is purple? FT/FF is what I got?
"By the god's!!, Stev look at this reading, I have multiple scans and hard to believe but the instrument is freshly calibrated. We must tell the others."

Sigurd finds the safe is not reading bio or radiation hazards. The only thing within the safe is a metal plate/scale/plaque/ and a few crystals. (his scan shows the xray and MRI of the inside of the safe.

Thirteen over comms: Aegis' security cams show "another vessel docks with the Aegis and the Captain is taken aboard the other vessel. The last recorded image is a trooper stepping over Allistar and pulling the plug on engineering." Slacker pulled the ships transponder signal out of Aegis computer' cache. The video shows the abductors are wearing those those crystals around their necks.

Stev's puzzled by the reading. "Metal and crystals? That couldn't be worth such a warning unless..." his eyes narrow. "Darkstryder." He begins to approach the safe...
Sivu finishes up disconnecting the computer and is about to commend 13's acquisition of the transponder when he hears Stev's comment. At the mention of the word Darkstryder, he rushes up to place himself between Stev and the safe. "If this truly is Darkstryder, we will need a far more delicate touch than a warrior's to ensure its safety." He carefully picks up the safe and continues "I will safeguard the crystals until they can be safely taken to the lab."
Stev frowns, then says "I know you want to personally guard something this potentially important, but let's think about this logically for a moment. That's what you normally try to do, right? Think of it this way: the crystals are in a safe that just survived an explosion. If they can be damaged, they already are. There's not much I can do to make it worse. Furthermore, that computer equipment actually IS relatively fragile now that it's all out of position, and someone who knows all the parts needs to keep them together. Just let me handle the safe, and you can use your expert's touch to keep the computer together."
Mechanics: Negotiation vs Cool. 2A vs 1C. Net result 1 success 1 advantage.
Sivu sighs heavily, and then offers the safe to Stev. "Your logic is sound, and I see that mine is not. My desire to unlock Darkstryder's secrets blinded me. I..." his speech turns to a quiet, almost inaudible mumble, and he quickly spits out "I apologize." With that, he quickly turns away and goes back to the computer.

Sigurd's medical check of the remains find that a dozen victums are found. Most died of blaster strikes before the fire and explosion. The group is a mix of human with the DNA markers of house Karadol and humans with DNA that are not native to humans of the Kathol Sector. There are no non-humans in the group. Siguard is able to make a ID from a DNA imprint one of the victums is on file wit the local medical database. He was a Lt Stegriff and Imperial Officer in the Imperial Science Division. An archaeologist from the core worlds who specialized in lost civilizations.

Sigurd: Stev and Sivu the droid is showing what looks like the captain of the FarStar being captured... I know I am new to the ships crew but we should act know to help him. I see the bombers are eliminated and the "crystals" readings are one thing, but the droid has some thing here.

PD13 sends to the FarStar the information about the Captain.
"If the Aegis has the ability to go into orbit and scan for information you are in a much better position than we are to find the vessel." Lilith responds."We did run an ID of the transponder code. It is a freighter named the Iron Fist reported to be owned by a Bounty Hunter group named the Quolok's Fist."
-----
Thanis hears the communication from the command center Kaiya is setting up inside the Karadol Compound,"Commander, The Quolok's Fist is a group of highly trained killers. There ship would rip a hole in the Aegis and we would need the entire security to stand a chance at taking them."
"He is right Commander," Scorne comes forward."The Fist is not something to approach without a plan."
"The Iron Fist has heavy quad laser turret's, fore and aft dual proton torpedo tubes, ions cannons, and a forward turbolaser cannon. They are armored and powered to take on capital level ships. You don't want this fight with just the Aegis." Thanis states bluntly though he looks to the ground the wall anywhere but Kaiya's eyes.
"How did you obtain this intel Thanis?" Kaiya asks.
"I used to be a Quolok's Fist." Thanis shifts his arm gauntlet reveling a tattoo showing a stylized fist.
"Okay your right the Aegis should not go after them alone." Kaiya flips on the comms. "PD13 go to orbit and meet with the Defender Squad. See if you can pick up their trail but do not engage without orders."

As Stev lugs the safe over to the speeder, he hears the comms and says "That definitely doesn't sound good. Even if the space team neutralizes the ship, we'll need to mount a full-scale assault in cramped quarters in unknown territory. It might be best for us to regroup with everyone else and draft up a plan. In the meantime..."
Stev speaks into his comm "Thanis and Scorne, you both seem to have intel on the Fist. Do either of you have resources regarding the ship's loadout and layout?"
Sivu adds through his comm "Has anyone accessed the Karadol Compound's computer systems? They could have useful information regarding this matter."
While Stev waits for a reply, he turns back to Doc Sigurd and solemnly states "Trust me Doc, if I had to fight through the entire Fist myself to rescue the Captain, I'd do it. However, all of us dirtside are pretty useless right now when it comes to direct action. All we can do is find everything we can to give the spacers an edge and prep to play our part with the assumption that they'll meet and exceed expectations." He looks at the safe for a moment and adds "Let's just hope we won't have to resort to extreme measures."
