"You ask what I'm looking to do," Alta Dyson moved close to the woman his lips almost to hers."I'm aimin to misbehave." He wraps a strong arm around her small waist pulls her up to him and kisses her passionately. Stepping back he looks into her fluttering eyes and ..... and.... and....."Line please." He drops the stuttering girl back to her feet, smiles to her nervous look,"You get it. You'll be fine." and walk to the other side of the stage where Thane stands. "She is never going to get it." He whispers to the diplomat.
"It is okay the crowd will be cheering so hard for your line they will never hear if she has a line." Thane states."We do not have a plethora of actresses on this planet."
Thane went back to his data pad. It was all running according to plan. The FarStar was in system and inbound to the planet. The assault teams should be arriving at the jump point at any moment. Just a little over 2 hours for them to be in orbit. 3 hours till the gate opens to allow to crowd in. The band is already set. The area shield is in place. Lokhar even found a few scanners at the starport he had brought over to run the crowd through. With Theta in charge of security Thane's confidence this would actually work out was growing from a small speck to almost a sliver of hope.

FarStar's lights go red as the jump point shows incoming vessels.
"They are only small craft in silhouettes sir," Ensign Roan purrs.
The X-wings from Alpha and Omega squads drop in first flying around the FarStar and her defender fighters.
"We have all eight fighters accounted for Captain," Lilith states a happiness in her voice.
The Captain sits back in his chair his neck and back relaxing for the first time in days,"Wing Commander Ciro it is good to see you home. Have one squad maintain patrols while the other docks for refueling and whatever repairs you require. Then report to me for debriefing. Captain Ciro out."
The jump point flashes again and two Lambda class Imperial shuttles and the Aegis appear.
"Sir, Communication from the Aegis. It is the First Officer." Lilith grin sneaks onto her face.
"Put her on,"
"Captain Ciro we have successfully freed the people of Shador from the Imperial Slave Pits. I present to you the High King of Kathol Oric Shador." Kaiya steps aside as an older but powerful man steps forward. "Captain Ciro greetings I must commend you on you crew. They are a people of great talents and even greater hearts. I have heard we will be having a ceremony later and a vote for the New Republic. I would be honored to be a part of this."
"We will be honored to have your majesty stand beside us." Captain Ciro replies.
"My men in the two shuttles will go ahead to secure my holdings for my return. 100 extra Shadormen should be good in keeping the peace. It will be good to meet you face to face captain."
The towering Shadorman leaves the screen and Kaiya's visage returns,"You may want to wear you highest heels if you are going to meet face to face Captain. We will be docking and the Imperial Shuttles will be going ahead. Kaiya out."
Captain Ciro stands from his chair and smiles, This just may work out.

OOC You are on the Aegis. Your new Nurse and tiny crew person are hiding in a storage locker in the aegis normally used for power armor. With the way each troopers section is divided it is easy to keep her away from her father.
The shuttles will land and the FarStar is going into orbit around the planet. You need to decide who is going dirt side for the ceremony. Who is staying on the ship, and what vessels will be on patrol or on the ground. Of course, Captain Ciro must be at the ceremony. Thane has also requested Private Allistar be at the ceremony as early as possible. He would like to see if she can stand in for the current actress opposite Alta when he perform some of his most memorable scenes.

The Muvon is now on the ground between the tent city and the river. With power returned, gas lines cut, and bad guys crushed people have returned to their homes except for the severely wounded who are being kept in either the Muvon or the tents outside. The gala benefit event will be on the stage. Loh'Khaar has requisitioned an area shield generator that extends out to the edge of the lighter green around the stage and seating. You also have scanners at entrance areas to the west and south. Theta's men will make sure everyone passes through the scanners in the crowd. It is 3 hours before and people are lining up and waiting. You only have seating for 204 people so the rest are placing blankets on the lawn outside the shields. With most of the citizens back in their homes the trained 100 person militia is patrolling the streets. Theta's team is handling the park and act as a strike team if the local militiamen get in over their heads. SLAVE (HK) is guarding Thane. Alta is rehearsing on stage and working with the tech crew. Baraduk has merged in with the crowd and looking for INN to show up. Qesya is providing security for the Muvon Tann and Biv are patrolling the wooded areas and doing a circle around the parklands. Vallens,and Tola have ewebs in the two towers that are on each side of the stage doing observation from on high. Thanis is undercover wandering the crowd looking for trouble. Lok'khar is smoozing the rock star backstage. Behind the towers is a large backstage area that has dressing rooms, prop storage, instruments and such. The tech guys are in the towers with the e-webs. KMN cameras and reporters are already in the crowd stirring up excitement. Booths are setting up just north of the tents. House Kathor is selling action figures, T-shirts, bobble heads, fang helmets and claws, packs of dried meat with Fang's image on them, even a PD13 plushy. The I survived Imperial Bombing 08.037 and The New Republic came and all I got was this stupid T-Shirt are very popular. Kaiya, Gorak, Stev, Krudar, Noel Ciro, Captain Ciro, Jessa, Lt Slyer, and PD13 meet in the tactical suite. Thane is on screen from the planet. "It looks like you were more than successful Kaiya. The High King's return will throw all of the votes in our favor. One would be a fool to oppose Oric." Thane seems pleased. "Now we just need to make sure everyone survives the vote." "That what this meeting is about. Our strength as a crew is in our diversity of experience and views. So how would you set up our forces to protect the meeting and the planet. Lt Khazam will have final say on security placement. Sergeant (Stev) your group will be roaming scouts weather around perimeter or in the crowd is up to you. Lt. Slyer you will have command of the FarStar while I am dirtside. Lt Thyte will be your XO. So how do we do this people?"  |

Slyer breathes a sigh of relief. He will be able to get the princess and her daughter out and back to the ship. "Captain I will depart immediately for the Farstar, I will prepare a debrief and have the after action ready for the other team leaders to fill in." "I will depart in the imp shuttle we took here as I think we might be able to use it later." "Please talk with Jessa as she has some great insight, she did very well for a shuttle pilot." "I will make getting the X-wings ready again the priority as well as scans and prep for your return." "I will leave the combat doc here to help and take the other doc with me." "I identified a shortfall in medical coverage for tactical teams and have improved it with two that also have insight to the local Moff."
Slyer whispers to Gammer and Jessa when he leaves, keep the team safe and tell them not a word about the princess, baby or Jessa for now.
"Jessa you have done a great job if you do not think you are needed here I could use you on the FarStar." Slyer will leave this open as Jessa may want to stay ground side.

Sigurd makes his way to the wounded and helps out all he can by the Mouvon.
Krudar will set up in the turret of the Mouvon unless he is needed for his gunnery/shooting skill elsewhere.
Amura will be by the crowd after getting his minor wounds addressed, pick up a sharpie and prepare to sign autographs while looking for new members to add to his pride.

OOC: You are all currently on the FarStar heading for the Planet. Once you make it to the planet I will have these events happen.
Captain Ciro is really looking for some ideas on how to secure and run the meeting and keep the spaceways safe. There is still an Escort carrier out there somewhere. It was last seen orbiting the gas Giant in system.
You have in space under your control 1 Assault Carrier (FarStar), 8 X-Wings, 6 Defender Short Ranged Fighters, 1 Aegis Trooper Shuttle, 4 TIE Fighters. The Shadormen are taking the 2 Imperial Shuttles down to the planet. You can put them in orbit, at the jump point, or on the planet. The Muvon will need to stay on planet because they are your mobile hospital and are full of patients.

Slacker suggest that he can monitor the ground-side network traffic, sensors, and communications as a counter-slicer from a computer port in the sound booth.

Stev takes a moment to assess the areas his Field Ops team would be most effective, then makes the call. "We have two loose ends in our current setup that my team can fix: we have nobody to make sure the fireworks aren't tampered with or used on the defenseless crowd, and Theta's men won't be in a position to scan the performers in this show."
"For the first problem, Boom is a demolitions expert, so he's a natural choice for making sure the fireworks go off when, where, and how they are supposed to. However, I recognize that all of those fireworks are too much for any one person to deal with, so I'd like to make Sivu an honorary Field Ops member for this mission to act as Boom's assistant. The two of them did incredible things against that swoop gang, so putting them together again should be a winning formula. Also, while they are stationed at the fireworks, they can be an extra set of eyes and ears making sure nobody starts any trouble."
"For the second problem, Analia's worked in weapon sales and maintenance, so she's the ideal choice to check on all props and other equipment backstage. Two key things to check will be making sure the prop weapons aren't actually any kind of threat and to check all equipment not brought in by us, including any instruments the band bring or any gear the speakers bring, especially House Karadol's representatives. If anybody gives Analia grief, I want Gunthar stationed with her as the backstage's bouncer and Analia's muscle. If anybody intends to cause trouble backstage, I'm confident that Gunthar can handle it, plus then he has quick access to the stage if enemy forces sneak past the shield."
"I want somebody on the inside of the shield who can keep an ear to the ground, and nobody is better for that job than Gammer. While Theta can let him through with weapons, he'll have to appear to be unarmed, so he won't be packing much more than a vibroknife, blaster, that corrosive gel he showed me back in training, and whatever else he sees fit to bring that he knows he can keep hidden, but that should be enough to stop trouble before it really starts. Also, if we're assigning seating, I want him as close to House Karadol as possible without tipping them off, and I also want him to have a clear line of sight to the stage."
"That leaves Sasha and I to watch over the perimeter and the crowd outside of the shield. Since we have them available, I want us equipped with those modded chemical scanners that can detect laminate at a limited range. That way, if those invisible Darkstryder troopers that Karadol's hiding decide to crash the party, Sasha and I will know about it. Additionally, I'd like to have Makio equipped and helping with perimeter control as well, but if the Security Team needs her, you can take her."

Thanes suggestions seem adequate. Would likely have the SRV on stanby. Also suggest a secure staging area for all speakers before they go on stage.
I would also double check all the bands instruments and equipment for hidden bombs or weapons
Gorak suggest shooting anyone that lets a weapon get inside as motivation

PD13 will tap into existing surveillance cameras & microphones and sprinkle wireless mess network chem, bio, and radiation sensors into the areas within the shield.

Noel speak up. "We can have the rest of Omega and Alpha patrolling the area around the show using the Defenders. They can get in closer and are more maneuverable in the atmosphere. We'll keep the X-wings on patrol around the Farstar in case we need to react to any emergency" After pausing a moment he adds, "Since a lot of our team is not familiar with TIEs, I would suggest letting the planetary defense force use them. Keep them on stand-by on the planet. We want them to feel involved in their own defense, but since we haven't had any chance to fly with them, we want to keep them out of our way unless we really need them. And if their are any extra Imperials around who might try to ruin the party, they are likely to flying eyeballs as well, and it will reduce confusion."

The 30 minute trip in from the jump point doesn't seem to be enough time to refuel and reload X-Wings, get into positions, change into formal attire, and generally get ready.
Arriving roughly 2 hours before the beginning of the Charity Event/ political rally the Aegis is loaded with dignitaries and security.

 VIP are in the first row from left to right. Brother Jil'Drath, Loh'Khar, Brakia reps, Karadol reps, Kathor reps, Shador reps, Ik'Tal reps, Thane, Kaiya, Ciro, HK When you arrive Alta immediately recruits Allistar, Amura, and Gunthar for his scenes. "In scene two Amura I would like you to come on stage and threaten me with your warstaff. Make it really flashy demonstrate your skill then i will pull this prop blaster and shoot you. You fake being hit and then the the stage goes to black. It will be just like Raider's of the Lost Temple of Doom" Alta explains. "Gunthar in scene one you will walk past with your club looming all menacing like. Allistar and I will hide from you then do our lines from Romancing the Holocron. The last scene will be Allistar and I acting out the love scene from Big Damn Heroes." The four spend the next couple of hours practicing the small acts as PD13 plants detection devices around the stage area and feels his CPU break. |

purty blabby man talks to fast But gets the idea he is suppose to walk, and blabby man hides. But Gunthar got big stick, stick would be good for hurting shiney men. Why give big stick if not suppose to hurt things?
