Boom begins to inspect the fireworks. Finally he will get to set off explosions to heart's content, and as he understands it, everyone else will also be enjoying his show.. He is used to everyone running from his explosions. He wishes that there was some destruction of property with the explosions, That would be really fun, just like his childhood back home. It is unusual for him to just send th rockets up into the empty sky, but still he looks forward with glee.

The team checks dignitaries, fireworks, props, band instruments, crowd members and find nothing out of order. The shield generator is working perfect and Sivu and the engineers even found a way to pump fresh catalyst free air into the area so those not already exposed to the catalyst in the air may remove their masks within the shield. Gorak begins to wish they would find something to ease his paranoia.
The only thing out of order is Lady Tamayra Bildrusor of Karadol has sent a half dozen lower Karadol nobles with her assistant to speak and vote instead of her. Gammer prowls behind her group ready for anything. He notes that they do not remove the clear masks along the lower part of their faces and that the 5 lesser nobles with the speaker are trained warriors.
Councilor Krause, head of Ik'Tal and Kolatill Planetary Defense greets the returned High King Oric warmly as does the Lord and CEO of House Kathor. House Brakia waits until the King is well away from Ik'Tal before coming forward to greet him. Karadol keeps their distance from the King who gives them a glare but realizes this is not the time or place.
Captain Ciro is greeted by some cheers and greetings from all VIPs but Karadol.
Stev tries to blend into the crowd outside the stage area but it does not work. A young child recognizes him first and soon the crowd circles him waiting for autographs and to take pictures with him. He has fake punched a hundred citizens and kissed half a hundred girls. The camdroids hover from Kathor and INN. He begins to look for a way but sees Baraduk sliding up under a INN camdroid she tosses a magnetic droid jack onto it's outer casing and gives him the thumbs up.
The crowd around him doesn't slow as the celebration begins on stage.

Some of the younger crowd members outside the shield area climb the trees to see better. Sasha, Biv, and Makio look them over but they are just teens at the oldest and none look to be armed. On the outer edges of the meeting are protester with signs calling the New Republic murders and baby killers. They have holovid signs playing INN coverage and interviews showing your crew in the worst possible light. You even note they have some footage with fake New Republic soldiers doing terrible things. ----
The Band plays the Kolatill Planetary Anthem as Ambassador Thane and Brother Jil'Drath approach the stage. Thane gives a greeting speaking of the tragedy and hopes for the future. The Brother give the opening prayer speaking of the plan of the Kathol Prophet and how no government or people may stand in it's way.
The stages holographic projector shows a scene in a jungle. Alta walks on stage to a roar of applause. HE motions and Allistar follows onto the stage with another roar of the crowd. She looks so much like the original actress many in the crowd believe her to be a surprised guest star. Allistar is taken aback by the cheers (passes her fear check) but then looks into Alta's eyes, gathers her strength, and follows him to their mark on stage. She knows the scene and the lines like she knows every scene and line of every Alta Dyson film. The practice was almost unnecessary for her. She still waits to practice the last scene's kiss. Every time in rehearsal something would happen. The holograph would glitch. The music volume would blast. The little Pit Droid PD13 would show up on stage and have a question for Alta. Somehow the scene she wanted to do most was the one scene they never finished.
"Gunthar your on," Analia smiles from behind the stage and motions the large alien to walk from on side of the stage to the other. 'Go go go big guy."
Slacker watches from the tower with Vallens and the light crew in the stage right tower. Tola and the holographic crew are in the stage left tower. -----
Baraduk cuts into the camdroids systems and is downloading into her datapad the raw footage and even the raw cut of the fake new republic soldiers getting direction from the Karadol reporters. She begins to work her way to the stage right tower with a smile on her face. The Zubrak has a plan to add an event to the celebration. She finds Gorak at the security scanner south by Theta and asks him,"I have the raw footage what say we go to the holographic display and make a little background show for when Karadol speaks?"

Gunthar shambles on stage with his big stick.. and is confused when he doesn't see any shiney men, looks back at Analia, and she points to the other side. Maybe shiney men over there? And where did purty guy go? he is nowhere to be found (as Gunthar walks past the half wall Alta is hiding behind). and starts walking to the other end muttering to himself "shiney smash smash shiney"

Gorak is studying the cam feed from the Protesters when Baraduk walks in.
"We need to show the deception, on House Karadol. Can you splice in the faked footage with the real? if you got any close ups it would be obvious which are faked"

I have Karadol reporter directing the fake crew members on what to do and several bad takes before they got it right. It should destroy the reporters from Karadol's credibility.

As Baraduk leaves to go report to Gorak, Stev sighs in relief that he can at least try to escape from the crowd and get back to doing his actual job.
"Everyone, I have appreciated your warm hospitality and appreciation, but I assure you that I am no more deserving than any other member of this crew. Each of us has a job that keeps everyone alive. My performance in combat was no more impressive than the engineers on the FarStar, the gunners in the SRVs, or Theta and his team currently protecting everyone at the checkpoints. I did my duty, nothing more impressive than that, and I must continue to do my duty, so I must request that I take my leave to ensure everyone's safety. If you'd like to see something impressive, direct your attentions back to the stage, where Alta's adventure is reaching its climax!"
Mechanics: Charm Check: 2A vs 5D. Net result 2 threats. He'll take 2 strain.
As Stev attempts to convince the crowd to disperse, they begin rushing closer, crushing him. As he squirms to find any possible breathing room, Stev begins to think about how much he misses his days in ShadowOps. All he had to do was sneak into a heavily fortified location, kill someone nasty, and get out without being seen. Things were so much simpler back then.

Sivu takes inventory of the fireworks and begins plotting trajectories for the ideal viewing angle of the explosions for the crowd below while minimizing the risk of audience members being pelted by the embers. He begins to think about this practice-it is wasteful, inefficient, and brutish, yet there is a sort of art and elegance to it.
As he sees Boom's joy, Sivu begins to ponder the possibility that Boom's species could have invented this practice. If a love of explosions is a racial trait, it seems logical. Still, he would need many more examples of Boom's people before he could really begin serious research. That will have to be shelved for later, but at least he heard one of the assault teams recovered Darkstryder technology, so he can begin experimenting on that. Considering the association this tech has with Force manipulation, he may wish to gain a better understanding of that mysterious property first. Since Que has been revealed to be Force Proficient, perhaps he can request a blood sample to analyze and get a better scientific understanding of what this Force truly is...or if his request fails, he can always collect some of the plentiful amounts of blood and flesh he left after his wounds were treated in the Medical Bay...

Alta and Allistar end their scene and it fades to black. They rush backstage and congratulate Gunthar on his excellent skills.
The Karadol lord and CEO comes forward and speaks of contracts, agreements, and the need for two parties to uphold their end of the agreement. With the dissolving of the Empire and the breaking of the central organization into smaller organizations like the one run by Moff Sarne he does not feel the orginal organization still exists so all agreements should be null and void. So the path now is to find the most profitable partner in short and long term....... It is the most boring 5 minutes of the night.
The band cuts in as he is still talking about mergers and long term investments playing a theme song from one of Alta's movies.
-----
Baraduk moves to the tower (with Gorak?) and the Clone Trooper allows her access. When she makes it to the top she sees Tola leaning on his e-web looking bored as can be. Baraduk approaches the holographic crew. "I would like to cue this up to run on my mark." She hands a data-cylinder with the footage to them.
----- The Karadol representative comes forward to give their speech. Baraduk readies the footage to play. The Karadol rep looks stiffly out above the crowd glaring at him. "Citizens of Domaz we have reached for freedom and liberty and suffered greatly for them. First the brutal bombing and then the heavy handed aid of the New Republic. We vote today for Empire or New Republic without considering another direction. True freedom and liberty of being and independent state. Let the Empire and the Republic fight their battles in another system. I ask that vote for ourselves, our leaders, our people, our form of culture and government. We are lords and kings, at one time even High Kings. How can one be a High King and a subordinate to the republic? Again let us have Domaz and the Kathol Sector Stand Tall truly by being our own men." He ends and Baraduk holds the footage not knowing if it would help or hurt to have the New Republic interfere with that speech.
---- The lights fade and the holographic images creates a markplace on a backwater world complete with holographic people shopping and haggling. Into the middle of the stage swing Alta and Allistar. The punch and fight holographic images until it is time for the "big baddy" Amura to appear. Analia waves Amura forward at the right time.
----
Amur knows he is next up after the Karadol speech. (Please roll a simple melee check to know how awesome his display was of weapon play then a deception check for how well he faked his death scene fell free to ham up the narration).

Amura goes in with his biggest growl/roar while flexing, going for some intimidation with it (2G 1Y= 3 advantage 1 success). Tries to look flashy (either athletics or coordination?) Coord 4G= 5 success? or Athletic 3G 2Y= 6Adv 1 success or blend them? Then the big fancy moves for melee 2G 3Y= 5Succes 3 Advantage where was this roll when I was fighting, thinking a Darth Maul like display? Followed by deception to "sell it" at the end 2G= 1 Success. Thinking he did not sell it to well, will push into another athletic/coordination check 4G= 4 advantage 3 success coord or athletic 6 success 2 advantage or blend for flashy backflip land on his face or what ever would look good, willing to tack a few strain along with it. With the mantra chicks dig scars as he puts his best effort into the display.

The crowd roars with excitement and actual attempts at Cathar like roars as the stage lights fades. Amura, Alta, and Allistar rush backstage with wide grins. The crowd does not quiet. The Lord of Ik'Tal and Kolatill Head of Defense just stands at the podium and waits for the crowd to stop cheering, "Fang, Fang, Fang!"
Alta motions Amura back to the stage. "Give them a wave and bow and maybe they will quiet."
Amura moves back on stage raises a hand and then a bow. As he leaves the stage the crowd finally quiets.
The speeches by Ik'Tal and Brakia show support for the New Republic and Freedom from the Empire.
The stage goes dark and the hologram is now the galley of a tramp freighter. Alta delivers his lines flawlessly and Allistar and Alta kiss to the claps of the crowd. The stage again fades to black and the light returns with a single spotlight on the High King returned.
"I have spent 20 years thinking of what I would say when I returned to you. Who I would have justice on. Who would lay dead at my feet. What I would do as High King again." He looks over to Karadol's group. "In the last 6 hours I have changed my thoughts on all of these things. I don't believe in words, I believe in actions. I believe in standing with the right people for what is right. 20 years a slave have change my thought on the worth of every man. I will stand for a new Kathol with Rights for every man, woman, and child. I will stand with the New Republic. I will stand for a system that allows people of merit access to all levels of business, government, culture, and respect. We will work to make Kathol about the person you are not the blood of you ancestors. Stand by me and we will stand together." The crowd starts stunned and the crowd outside the stage area begin to cheer first followed by the VIPs and nobles within the stage area.
Thane follows the High King and introduces Captain Ciro.

Stev comms "Perimeter team, the Captain's entrance is a prime opportunity for an enemy attack. Keep constant scans for laminate going and send an alert if you get any results that aren't us. Otherwise, keep your eyes peeled. I seem to have drawn most of the outer camp to one position, so that may be a prime terror attack target. Keep your eyes open for any unattended bags or other gear."
"Boom and Sivu, you're the explosion experts, is there any way we can set up the Aegis to scan for explosives that somebody could've snuck in? How about our personal scanners?"
Stev will attempt to scan the crowd in order to sense anything suspicious, whether that's a lonely bag or someone wearing loose clothing who really doesn't seem to want to be noticed. Any anomaly can be a threat.
Mechanics: Perception Check. No idea of the difficulty if there even is one, so Narrator'll have to roll this one.

Boom looks around confused by Stev communication. He is not used to find other peoples explosions. He usually sets the explosives and make sure he is out of the way before they go off. But maybe he can put that knowledge to use. If he was going to set up some big booms were would he set them?
Mechanics: Mechanics(Demolitions) 2P2A vs 2D = Net 2 Success 3 Advantage (Use advantage on his knowledge for Perception check (helps him know where to better concentrate). Perception check: 2P2B = 3 Success 2 Advantage (not sure difficulty).
