Malik notes, "teleportation It is, how do we create a distraction from here? If we can take out a leader it could be huge.+

"It looks like a lot of them are heading over to try and block off the lava. I think we should wait a few and see how many that pulls away from Shadow-chick; we might not need more of a distraction than that. Flynn, how long can you hold the bunch of us under the invisibility schtick? If you can hit us all with that before you start popping folks over to the other side, I can climb down the outside of this thing 'til I'm far down enough to pop myself over without getting noticed." Izzy watches the orcs scrambling towards the lava. How many of them are getting dragooned into that mess?

"As long as I concentrate a little, I can keep it up for a full hour." He smiles and waits,"Okay, no one is going to say that's what she said. This is like an entire party of paladins. Now don't go touching anyone or attacking or it will fall, but it can keep you from being seen easily enough."

"Hm, considering she's gifted in magic, perhaps we could use the surprise granted by the invisibility to quickly gag her or bind her hands with manacles? If she can't cast a spell, the fight's practically over before it starts."

Ooc: lets do it. Sounds like this bard is pretty high level with mass invis and dim door. We will be sent 2 at a time?

OOC: Sounds like it. We'll probably need to plan out the pairs everybody gets sent in based on likelihood of getting detected, with the sneakier ones going first and the noisy ones going last. Delrin's got proficiency in Stealth, so he'd normally be pretty solid, but his scale armor gives disadvantage, so he could be vulnerable to one unlucky roll, making him an unlikely candidate to be part of the first batch.
P.S. Are any of our new magical items attuned, or are we going to have to wait to upgrade our gear until later?

Make an arcane or nature check DC10 to attune yourself quickly or you will need to long rest (I think that is the rule off the top of my head).
Flynn seem pretty skilled. He also seems a little gunshy about rushing back into battle. maybe a Troll crushing your skull a score of times mays you rethink the adventurer career choice.

OOC: By the way, there were two archers in the prior battle, so there should be about 40 arrows back there, right? Does anybody else want any, because I'd be happy to have a hefty stock of ammunition in case things go bad.
Arcana: 14, so the boots are ready to run.

Did you take the bag of holding or leave it with the gnome at the Monastery? You could stockpile plenty of arrows in that.

Oloric as the bag and can stuff spare arrows in it. Just tell me how many.
So Oloric is good at stealth nd Malik of course not.
Maybe Oloric/Izzy then Delrin/Tleyars, final Malik/Fargrim?

You follow the ladder down to the chin room and find a fine table and meeting area with comfortable if slightly short and wide chairs. This room has a spiral stair that leads down to well organized storerooms with foodstuffs, incense, oils, and dwarf sized robes. This level has windows that are the gems of his large torc carved along the upper chest of the statue. The room is 30' high, The lowest level of the statue is lined with barrels of wine and ale. The "wine cellar" is unnaturally hot and you can hear the flow of lava and yells of orc in what would be the gatehouse below. This level also 30' high filling the lower body of the dwarf statue. The boots of the statue have small ports only 2' wide that are studs carved into his boots. You find no passage to the gatehouse below.
Looking out one of the ports you are just 20' above the orcs on the tracks before the gate. Almost all of the orcs are on this side of the city. Tusk is standing below on the tracks just 50' from you bellowing orders. The tomb entrance like the tracks and the mines openings are 30' above ground level. The witch still stands by the tomb. She has moved to the highest stone steps right outside the door. She is alone on the stairs but from the cellar level you really see the ground level of the mine below her.
Flynn holds a small rectangular music instrument cradled between both hands. It makes a deep almost humming melody. He begins to play lowly and you feel a tingling sensation. You watch your friends slowly begin to disappear. He then blends another melody in with the first and a small swirl of black near him grows quickly into a black swirling smoke of his dimension door.
OOC He will do this when you are ready. Izzy and Flynn could both door at the same time. Then he could send the last two. Where do you want to land? Do you want to bring anything with?

"First, a question. Do we want to just gank her and drag the body into the corridor with us, or do we really wanna try and do the bag-over-the-head and interrogate-on-the-run thing? That seems like a recipe for badness, really. I'd prefer to just make sure she's out of the way and not giving the big guy there advice and magical assistance anymore, me." Izzy munches on some spicy dwarven sausages he swiped from the store-room, washing them down with a mug of ale. "Tactically, I'm thinking I pop over with Del, and Flynn drops Olly and Tleyar off at the same time. We hold still behind her, and wait for Flynn to drop off Mal and Fargrim, and then 'grim hits her with a Hold Person and we all stab the hell out of her as quietly as we can."

OOC: Two orc archers, so I'm assuming that'd be 40 arrows for the bag.
Delrin can't suppress a somewhat wicked grin on his face as he suggests "Well, interrogating her and killing her don't have to be mutually exclusive. All we need is the skull to use Speak with Dead, and we can use that in conjunction with Zone of Truth to make her especially helpful. We wouldn't even need to do it until after we escape this place."

Izzy gives Del a big smile and the gun fingers and says "That's dead clever, that is. I take back half the bad things I ever said about you behind your back!"
