I agree we should go to the right and take out that group first. There aren't any mooks so even that group can be dangerous depending on rolls.
I vote spend 2 rounds to try and jump them.
Malik rolls 9 initiative
Oloric rolls 5 initiative ouch

Yeah, I'm in the "jump the dudes on the right" party, too. Do we wanna take the disadvantage on the stealth rolls for horseback, though? Or take the 4 round time hit instead?
Izzy's init: 20
Fargrim's init: 9

As you watch a pair of dwarves roll a wheel barrel out of the main building. Kegs of some type are loaded into the wagon. "Please, Please accept this offering and leave in peace." One dwarf calls.
As they lower the wheel barrel the Warchief calls,"This will just keep our thirst at bay until we on you and your children." He waves an arm.
The dwarfs are chased back into the building by orc arrows.

Malik has no stealth and is at disadvantage either way due to armour. He will want to use warhorse for additional attacks and damage. But he can wait and charge if you want to foot and sneak ahead

Yeah, I've got disadvantage thanks to armor too, so I'll stick with the horse team, however we want to use them. It'll be nice to take out those archers on the right, especially since I only have about 1 arrow per orc to use right now. Upgrading from a stock of 40 to a stock of 160 will definitely keep me from having to ration shots. Since we've got the advantage of speed, maybe after we take out both archer groups we could go for a few strafing ranged runs?
Also, how close are those kegs to the orcs, because they're just screaming "Light me on fire and burn up half the baddies!"
Delrin's init: 20. Wow, two in a row, albeit due to different rolls.

Oloric and Izzy could go ahead to get a jump on them sneakily and let the other 3 of us charge on horse.
Oloric stealth checks are 14, 24, 17, 21

That works for a plan. Ol and Izzy are gonna sneak up on the archers on the right (4 rounds, 2 stealth checks), and when we hit the archers, Mal, Del, and Fargrim charge up on horseback (Fargrim can ride Y'Big Jerk) and join the party. Since the rest of the buildings are in between the other orcs and the eastern archers, they probably won't notice anything's going on if we keep it down. Sound good to everybody?

It is good for Oloric he made the low check early when he was really far away. The Dragon-cursed sorcerer takes the long way skirting behind a hilly region with Izzy and approaching the orc from behind. I need Izzy's stealth rolls. You tie the spare mount on the wagon and leave it behind the hill. The mounted group can approach the building easily. The brutish orcs are whipped forward by their warleader to examine the barrels. The smallest is pushed forward and he lifts a barrel, sniffs it, pulls a cork, takes a small drink then a longer and longer gulp. Until the other finally rush forward and pull the barrel from his hands sloshing ale along the ground. "I luv me a thick dwarfie ale. See Othgrr dis is better dan hidin in some caves." the little one expresses.

Izzy's stealth checks are 16 and 12. Ah well, it seemed like a good idea at the time.

Malik draws his dagger and it slowly grows into a double sided battleaxe. He motions to the other 2 "We should focus fire to try to take out a few of the easier soldiers. We need their numbers whittled down fast or we'll be in trouble. Fargrim can you bless the 3 of us? I will charge and attempt to cleave as many down as I can while Blackarrow whittles them down with his bow. Once we get the jump we should pull back together. We need to avoid open space or those other archers will be our ends."
OOC: I thought the horse group was still going to try to come from the east and charge that group?

OOC: yeah, that's what I thought was supposed to happen, too. You folks follow us on horseback while we try and sneak up on the eastern archers, and when we get the jump on them, you swoop in and help us erase them. My rolls might have compromised that "surprise them" part of the plan, but the rest of it should still stand.

Sorry I will adjust to you being behind the two ready to crest the hill just off map and charge.

Well Oloric can send a sleep spell at them to start. He can ready to cast after Izzy shoots to gain surprise?

Yeah, Izzy'll tag one with the shortbow once we're within about 40 feet or so, then Olly can sleep them, see how many that takes out. All depends on whether they saw me coming; if they didn't, then I've got Sneak Attack damage on the hit. If they did, then they're probably gonna start shooting at us once they see us.
