OOC: Alex will be assigned as the Overlook supervisor to whatever mission the team is assigned. She can easily start as the less than happy to be with the team party member.

Alexandria frowned, observing the mercenaries and the adventurers. She quickly put her helmet back on and stepped back. "I could help you." She said with some finality to Oloric, tapping his shoulder with her mailed hand. "With regards to getting a contract. I am an advisor there to the council and we have verified my suspicions and those of many others." She brandished her house's crest, a symbol of authority that was stark enough. It depicted a lion's head and a wreath, the banner beneath reading 'Much is Given, Much be Required.' She was of the Trevelyan clan. "Although your brashness was most certainly not a mitigating factor, it was far from the most disastrous outcome. For this, I am willing to temporarily allow you to be my escort in order to get you through the gates unhindered, and will attempt to expedite the bureaucratic nightmare that is securing a contract." She couldn't help but sound mildly condescending due largely in part to her very unemotional manner of speech. "Though I confess: I loathe to admit it, but you have--wittingly or no--shown me benevolence and I do not allow kindness to go unreturned, noble or commoner. If I can get your cooperation, you have mine."

Izzy grins at Alexandria. "Is that your way of saying you wanna tag along?" He looks at the rest of the crew. "Show of hands? We can always use somebody else on stabbing and patch-up duty, and she looks like she'll clean up real nice. AND she's got that snooty, antagonistic, self-righteous vibe that seems like she'll probably get us in lots of fights with people, which is always good. What's the consensus, kids?"
Fargrim studies the verbose newcomer with a stern look, assessing her for teamwork and combat capability. [Insight total: 15]
OOC: unless the rest of crew wants to do something else, yeah, we're gonna snack, clean up, and head on to Overlook.

Malik would vote to go to Overlook since we shouldn't be roaming around without having informed the town. Especially since we just ended up hurting a plan set in motion by people hired by said town.
Oloric would not want to just go off searching without payment set in place. He's not roughing it for free...
Unless the others complain and want to Track they Malik/Oloric can be convinced but I think we should get to Overlook first.
Malik would not want to travel with the Farstriders as it appears he stepped on their toes too much but would obviously welcome Alex or others along with our group.
Oloric would insist on Alex coming with them. Can't work his magic with no audience!
*Edit: Per above from Izzy/Fargrim we're going to Overlook. Welcome Alex! (Malik stares at her platemail with jealous eyes. He is too poor to get some nice armour still).

Delrin kneels down with a piece of parchment and charcoal and rubs out an imprint of the smith's symbol. Having an easy to carry copy of the mark should make looking into the smith easier.
As he stows away his tools and stands up, he gives a quick grin and says to Izzy "It seems that you're under the impression that we'd be doing her a favor by allowing her to join us, rather than the other way around. That kind of oversight may harm your chances of winning that 'party leader' position you seem to be looking for."
He then lets off a laugh and turns to face Alexandria. "It appears that we all agree that it would be a privilege to work with you. Welcome aboard."
OOC: So, what does our loot pile look like now? It looks like we've got around a dozen suits of chain, about the same number of hide, and quite a few weapons and shields in fair condition, so that could end up being a really good haul.

Izzy shakes his head, sadly. "I can tell you've never been in management, Del. See, you can't just TELL people that they're doing you a favor by working with you. You hafta make it seem like you're doing THEM a favor by letting them tag along! That way you retain the upper hand! It's basic people-wrangling, man!"
OOC: Yeah, but if it's all that low-rent shadar-kai vendor trash crap, we're gonna have some trouble selling it, especially here in dwarf country.

The leaders of the orc's have true weapons and armor. The armored is soaked in orc stench and you will need to clean, repair, febreze before anyone will by it. The shadowfell weapons and stinking hide armor are not of any real worth.
When ready to move migrate over to the Scene Two: Draft Day. Consider it having taken a long rest during the travel time from Old Den to Overlook.
