Gthroc
As Sivu enters the cockpit to enact his countermeasures, Stev begins heading to the open hole in the cockpit, stating "There's not much I can do to help repairs here, so I'm going to head back to the stage. We left a lot of gear back there, and I think we're going to need it soon."
With that, he climbs out of the cockpit and takes a running leap off the end, activating his jetpack in midair so he can fly back towards the stage. He heads straight for the blast zone created by SLAVE's suicide, since he has a very particular object in mind: SLAVE's cortosis arm. That should survive any energy assault, even a thermal detonator, and Stev knew that cortosis could often become the difference between life and death. With the size of SLAVE's arm, there could be enough of the stuff to alloy into one or more suits of armor. Plus, there's the off-chance that the cortosis also protected some of SLAVE's integrated weapons, or maybe even part of his AI core.
Mechanics: Perception Check 2P vs ?. Gross result 2 successes 2 advantages.

Muvon
Lodor's mouth gapes open when he sees the protective measures on the antenna. "Um, Brophar, I don't think we really wanna attack the antenna! It looks like taking down one just lets another grow in its place!" He shifts his aim and starts blasting the Vultures surrounding the X-Wings, hoping that, if they can gain some air superiority, they can take the time they need to take this antenna down without getting fried.
Mechanics: Gunnery Check 4P1B vs 1D. Net result 6 successes. I guess you don't always need advantages to do Linked level damage.

CUTHBERT
Well, things were getting better every moment. The supercomputer is also harboring some giant evil force centipede, at will that centipede can murder anybody on the ship, and in a minute or less a team of Inquisitors was going to show up. Great. Just fabulous. Tevan notes that his stalling plan is definitely a bad idea now, but he couldn't afford to rush into action and make a mistake that'd get the crew killed either.
Tevan walks around the pinned Ciro and replies to the monster, keeping his eyes pinned on the beasts' to show he wouldn't back down so easily. "What, are you saying I wasn't your first choice? I feel like I should be hurt. I don't suppose I can get the name of your prime candidate? Or yours, for that matter, since I'm pretty sure CUTHBERT isn't appropriate anymore."
While he's asking questions, Tevan focuses on his newfound opponent, attempting to attract enough of its concentration to weaken its control over the crystals. He knew he wasn't going to outthink a supercomputer or outmuscle, well, most things, so outwilling this dark creature was the only chance he had to end this threat before the Inquisitors arrived.
Mechanics: Discipline Check 2P1A vs ?. Gross result 1 triumph 2 successes 1 advantage.
OOC: Also, I forget, can the Morality strengths/weaknesses provide any sort of mechanical benefit? I feel like it's worth noting that Tevan's strength is Discipline, so resisting the lure of the Dark Side and staying in complete control of his own mind is somewhat a specialty of his. |

Gthroc
Vic crushes the last of the PD13 copies. You feel as if a light has gone out in the universe (or maybe the universe just became a lot more sane).
The ship rises on repulsors and Gammer takes control rising and moving toward the bay. Sasha finds the functional turret as Slyer slides into the co-pilot seat.
"So the plan is to get this baby to run long enough to make it to the island, land and destroy everything." Slyer states to Gammer.
"Sounds about right," Gammer replies."Does your command school knowledge think we need to add to the plan?"
"Nope," Slyer smiles at Gammer.
"Boom," Boom enters bandoliers of explosives cross crossing his chest. He smiles at the thought of blowing up an entire island.
In the cargo hold Qesya opens a crate and smiles. She lift the eweb out holding like a newborn.
Stev rockets out and circles the blast radius. He finds the arm he is looking for. It would probably make a good impromptu shield to parry light saber blows with.
Muvon
Brophar replies,"I'm not really into getting the old lady fried. Maybe we could gain enough altitude to be our of range and let our turbolasers do the job."
He begins to climb and the air systems work to make up for the gaping hole in the turrets.
Aren calls to Brophar from comm/scans,"There is a small object in the atmosphere above us. It is too small for a fighter. It's motion looks like a free fall."
Lodor hears a voice in his head,"Follow me." It calls to him.
CUTHBERT
The centiputer responds,"The original vessel was to Locain Shador Imperial ID87743KS89. Sarne made an mission adjustment to Korto Vos Imperial ID unknown. This unit believes the vessel has to many variables. Tevan Imperial ID99223KS41 lacks the variables the current vessel brings. Once you have been placed in status delivery to Aaris III should be within mission parameters."
Tevan attempts to impose his will on the spyders within the crystal. He sees the crystal begin to retreat from his friends. Reaching out to the spyders Tevan feels for a moment than the Spyders do not have an innate darkness to them.
Mikal and Jenna begin to stir.
"You think to resist me. Once the gateway is opened and the prophet arrives you will face more than a shadow of my power." CUTHBERT states as the smokey centiped curls above him.
"Really CUTHBERT I could take be replaced by my master's son, but this whelp is not worthy." A hole opens in the crystal behind Tevan and 11 cloaked figures stride in. The one in the center is a full head taller than the others. "You boy took my favorite toy from me. For that you will suffer."

Invictus searched the compartments in the cockpit for a flare gun, or anything useful at that point. He was livid, especially given the circumstances. "Invictus to Muvon, the last of the PDs have been obliterated. How is the ship?" He asked over comms.

Sivu responds to Vic from the engine room. "We have sustained a hull breach in the cargo bay, and the damage to the cockpit prevents us from any high-altitude or high-speed maneuvers, but other than those breaches and the damaged upper turret, the vessel should be fully operational."
Meanwhile, Stev takes his cortosis club and flies back to the ship. "I'd hoped some part of SLAVE's core would've survived, but at least I didn't come up empty handed. Now let's go reinforce the troops at the island."

Lodor's mind takes a moment to process what just happened and to connect all the dots. His jaw drops, and then he just screams "Seriously old man?! This is your plan?!"
He turns on the shipwide comm and yells "Brophar, that kriffing object is Que, who kriffing thinks we can follow him as he kriffing jumps without a kriffing jet pack right on top of the kriffing spaceship! Oh, and he also doesn't believe in comms, since he had to kriffing use telepathy-something I didn't even know he could do, especially to a non Force User like me-and I don't kriffing like it! Now, it's our job to catch the kriffing bantha-brain before he crushes every kriffing bone in his body!"
He attempts to tone down his intense frustration as he finally adds "Just...just pull under him, and I can pull him in. My turret's already open-air, so it should work fine."

CUTHBERT
Tevan realizes that it's the centipede, not the crystals, that's the problem here. He may not know how to get rid of it, but he did have a good idea on how to upset it and deal with the Inquisitors at the same time. He looks from CUTHBERT to Locain and says "So, I can choose to be inhabited by a Dark Force Demon, or I can die. I think I'll pass on both, but, hey, since you seem to want to be up close and personal with the monster so much..."
He stretches his hands out towards CUTHBERT to rip as much of the machine out as he can, and he hurls the mechanical monstrosity straight at Locain. He then unclips his bandolier of blasters and hands them to Noel Ciro, trusting him to get the hint as he whispers to Mik and Jen "The spiders only hurt us because of their bad boss. I need you two to order them to do their tomb trick on the Inquisitors."
Mechanics: Move Power 2FR. Result 3LP. Activating base power, plus strength upgrade twice, which should be more than enough to rip CUTHBERT out of its mountings and right into Locain's face.
Discipline Check (guessing the computer's Sil 3, adjust if I'm off) 2P1A vs 3D. Net result 1 triumph, so if Locain survives the 31 damage, there's also the matter of the crit. I rolled 33, so he's staggered until the end of his next turn too.
Oh, and I'm assuming we'll need to roll Init now, so Tevan's got 1 success and 2 advantages.

Gthroc - Slacker's Dream (well maybe not anymore)
Brophar responds to Vic,"Our hull looks like correlian worm loaf and our top turret is a convertible. Otherwise we are doing better than that hunk of slag you are standing in." Vic finds under the pilot station a hold out blaster in a magnetic holster.
If VIC takes it Gammer will just smile and say,"Hey in this craziness I can't knock a man for wanting to protect himself."
As the Gthroc is moving toward the island on low repulsors Stev and Vic both feel a swirling malestorm of the force within the spherelike control center of CUTHBERT's ship. Stev can feel his brother is in the eye of the storm on CUTHBERT's ship. They then feel a gathering of the force in the sky above their ship. Looking up they see the speck of a robed man free falling from the upper atmosphere. He looks to be gliding toward the island.
MUvon
Brophar moves under Que matching his velocity and Que glides in landing in the vacated turret. He grabs the turret com. "Brophar dive into the central sphere of the ship. I will open a way for you inside. Just dive." Lodor looks at Quinnlan eyes and see the yellow rimmed with red. "We are do running Lodor, done hiding, we are joining to make these Inquistors one with the force."

Locain reaaches out with the force and holds the computer system in place (opposed force move roll 6 success and 4 advantages) you did not move it but have a boost on the next thing you do. If you want you can continue the contest to move the cpu. It at least keeps Locain busy.
"You are most impressive for a whelp. You are not ready for this battle." Locian motions the 10 dark side force adepts forward.
5 raise hands at Mikal and 5 at Jenna. Both are wracked with pain and crumble to the ground. (5 force harm attacks on each. 20 Wound damage to Mikal and 22 damage to Jenna.
Noel pulls a blaster quickly and tossed the bandoleer to Kaiya. The adept did not expect the bolt as it enters his forehead and exits the back of his skull. "Been waiting to do that for days."
The Darkstryder extends out and crystal begins to grow around the Koed padawans and back up the crew. The flowing crystal stops and Tevan can see the centiputer curling upward shifting it's focus to the ceiling.
Outside the droids stop moving. The Vulture droids begins flying straight ahead. Some crash off buildings and other dive into the bay. (you did disconnect it with the movement)

Gthroc
Stev's fists clench as he orders "Everyone in the cockpit who doesn't need to be here, get out. Everyone else, activate magnetic clamps and push this ship to full speed. We need to be there NOW. Ground pounders, prep for immediate deployment when we're in range. Bring the biggest blasters you've got."
He then locks himself into place in an area where he can safely activate the jetpack. He secures his lightsaber clip firmly on his belt and holds on tightly to his new Sith Clubber. The second he's close enough, he's going to jump out and fly in. He doesn't know what was ahead, but he knows he has to stop it before it kills everyone on that ship.
When Sivu hears the order, he immediately locks himself down in engineering. While he didn't plan on being deployed, he administers himself another stimpack in case things didn't go according to plan. After all, they rarely did.

Lodor exclaims "There's Inquisitors here!? Well, I need to find a bigger blaster!" He rushes to the ship's cargo hold full of goodies and takes a heavy repeating blaster rifle, pulling on the harness so he doesn't have to worry about constantly setting up the thing. He looks down at it with a lopsided grin and says "Oh yeah, this is definitely what I was looking for."

CUTHBERT
Tevan's eyes widen as the acolytes leech the life from his siblings, knowing that the same fate would meet everyone else here in only moments. Locain was too powerful for him to overwhelm, but now that Tevan knows the crystals aren't inherently dark, he figures he can take away the main source of their power and add it to his own. He quickly shifts his focus from the computer to the crystals dangling from Locain's necklace and draws it to one of his own hands as he draws his lightsaber with the other. Now it was time to see how much power these crystals really carried.
Mechanics: Move Check 2FR. Result 1LP 2DP. That's terrible timing for a bad roll, since with one more point he could've pulled 3, but at least he can activate the power to rip Locain's crystal away.

Vic snatched the holdout, figuring he'll use it later and stashes it into an armored compartment. He followed the breach, most definitely not a combatant at this point, but he'd do what he can. "...Invictus to Strike Leader, Do you still have objections to me at your back?" He asked, shooting out of the canopy and angling himself to back Stev up before hitting the thrusters. "Because that would be too damn bad. I am coming to crush them." He angled his lightsaber to give any hostiles the razor's edge as he came in. ((2A vs 2D1S, 2S 2A Trigger crit... 37 - 10 because Droid... Discouraging Wound... the irony of this is not lost on me.))

The Muvon dives toward the sphere and Quinlan extends his arms ripping them sideways. The top of the sphere tears open leaving a 100m opening to the control center. The Gthroc follows behind. Both crews see an area covered in crystals. Crew persons and dark robed force users are scattered in the area. The crystal looks like it has been flowing like lava over the area. Looking at it it looks like something alive is swirling under the crystal. As the roof rips open everyone within looks up distracted for a moment.
Roll for initiative
Vic could use his roll on a dark side acolyte or Locain.

Each square is 3m the platform with CUTHBERT extends out 50m above the ground with 50m above it to the roof (before Quinlan removed the roof). The crew (Noel Ciro's token) are still immobilized by crystal on their legs. The dark side user tokens are 4 and 5 dark side users. Locian is just one person. The ships are 50m above the platform but Brophar will land on his Initiative.  Everyone is really fast today (Initiative) Quinlan Voss, Dark side user group A, Dark side use group B, Locain, Brophar (muvon), Cuthbert, Stev, Gammer (Gthroc), Prisoners, Lodor, Vic, Sivu, Tevan, Mikal, Jenna Quinlan rips the roof off (5 success 8 advantages). He is on the ramp of the Muvon next to Lodor. The Acolyte group A (4 of them) wrack Noel Ciro with pain and he blacks out. Kaiya pulls a blaster and the second group down her with waves of pain. Locain reaches out in the force and the crystals shoot up and wrap around the Muvon (4 success 4 advantages). He then pulls the Gthroc in the force smashing it down outside the dome (1 success, 5 advantages). Every in the Gthroc make a athletics (3d) check to not be thrown around in the ship. If you are within when it hits the ground 11 damage (minus soak). It will not crash until the end. "Damn things have us," Brophar exclaims. He fires off the anti-mynok electrical burst along the hull and it does nothing to the crystals. The centiputer attempts to pull itself back into place and reinsert control. If you are going to oppose it he has 3 success and 3 advantages on his roll. Stev ? Gammer see a lost cause,"Abandon ship." He yells over the comms. He grabs Slyer jumps through the broken cockpit canopy and engages his grav belt. Lodor ? OOC: Force user may make a discipline check with unused/uncommitted force die to control a 3m zone of crystal. 3 advantages may be used to effect a 2nd adjacent crystal. You can make them grow to entangle, free a person or group, for a wall or barrier, etc. It does count as either your maneuver or action. |

OOC: I just wanted to throw out the little reminder that Stev's defenses each go up by 1 to 2 Ranged and 3 Melee when he's wielding the lightsaber. Since he's about to take a nasty slashing, it seemed relevant.
After ordering "Open the bay doors!" Stev runs off the end of the Gthroc and, when it drops low enough, leaps from the end into the nearest crowd of dark siders. He lands with his saber blazing, lashing out two strikes at one of the robed figures before whirling the saber around himself in a swirling defensive maneuver, hoping that he can ward off the inevitable reprisal long enough for backup to arrive.
Mechanics: Athletics Check 2P3A vs 3D. Net result 1 success 3 advantages. Throwing in the nifty boost die to his attack and using the other 2 advantages to grab a free second maneuver.
Lightsaber Check 5A1B vs 2D. Net result 2 successes 5 advantages. Activating Linked so that's 2 hits of 10 each, and each carries Breach 1. Applying the other 3 advantages to increase Stev's melee defense by 1 until the end of the next turn, so it'll be 4.

When Lodor spots Locain, he groans "This guy again? I thought we'd seen the last of you on that blasted prison!" He almost seems amused, but then he spots Jen and Mik on the ground with Tevan engaged in a mental battle next to them. He flares in rage as he unleashes hell on the upper group of dark siders, landing a hail of bolts on a pair of them. "Get away from my kids, you rotting huttspit!"
Mechanics: Gunnery Check 4P1B vs 2D. Net result 1 triumph 1 success 4 advantages. I'll use the triumph and advantages to apply 3 sets of auto-fire, so that's 4 hits of 17 damage each, Pierce 2. Let's apply 2 hits to 2 dark siders, since that probably will take them down. You know, I could get used to 78m being short range.
OOC: Can everyone else in the init go now? Only Stev and Lodor had the ? by them, so I'll add the other two in if they should declare actions now.
