Stev and Vic Stev and Vic circle again dropping ion grenades into the crowds. The droids are all downed by ion pulse or the crowds actions. People are rushing into the mushroom gardens and down the streets. Stage Amura continues to rip pieces off of SLAVE when crystal spikes burst out of the droid bodyguard. Gunther lets go his hands pierced by the crystals. Qesya still has him pinned by the neck. SLAVE screams out in a voice wracked in pain,"I will be no one's slave again!" He holds up two thermal detonators and yells,"run!" Everyone on the stage begin rushing away. The last pair of PD snipers are on the Dansk Theater. They fire at Stev and Vic flying overhead. The first misses Vic his fire cause Vic to dodge flying into the path of Stev. Stev pulls up and is struck by the second PD (12 damage minus soak, roll 2d agility to maintain control). Vandal moves north seeing the PDs on the theater fire on her crew mates. The Gthroc passes before her 30m in the air. They begin to fire randomly into the running citizens. Inside Plaza- Sivu explains to Gammer. The old scout takes the restraining bolt and smiles. He runs at a Johnny Car racing through the casino and jumps feet first into the windshield, through the windshield, and inside the vehicle. Muvon- The Muvon begins to move around the Cultural Center. Lodor sits and finds a number of targets coming in from the north and the Gthroc. (everything is short range in this battle) FarStar As Potshot and Thyte fight through to the bridge, Jitonne punishes the droids outside. Quin Lan Voss is rushing through levels destroying droids along the way. They all hear an automated ships message, "Warning Hyperdrives have been inititated. Jump in 2 minutes." Island Stev pulls ahead of the others except for Mikal who races ahead of him. Jenna attempts to help Jessa but neither makes progress up the side of the ship. None are sure exactly where Kl'aal is. At the front Scource and Thanis ready firing positions and wait for any sign they are detected. Scourne sees a patch of ships in the skies north. Looking through her macros she see the group are delta fighters coming in. Each looks to have a pair of clone troopers in heavy combat armor on its wings.  |

Outside
OOC: If the Bruiser Trio or anyone else on stage can't escape the blast radius in time, he'll swoop in to fly whomever he can out of there. Otherwise, he's saber slicing a sniper.
Stev's actually a bit surprised to find that the sniper bolt found a way through his armor, but he ignores the sting and readjusts his flight pattern to deal with the problem at hand. "These little things can handle a weapon their own size far better than I expected. We'll have to be more careful with any more that could be hiding."
Mechanics: Piloting (Planetary) Check 2P2A vs 2D. Net result 2 successes.
If attacking, Lightsaber Check 5A vs 2D. Net result 2 successes 2 advantages. Activating Crit, rolled 68 so it's Slightly Dazed. 10 damage.

Muvon
Lodor continues his barrage on the Gthroc in the hopes of pulling aggro away from the defenseless civilians below. "Brophar, can you confirm identities of those contacts? I called in some Deltas to support us, but we definitely didn't even have one dozen. I just don't want any friendly fire happening here, we're losing enough people already."
Mechanics: Gunnery Check 4P1B vs 1D. Net result 4 successes 3 advantages. Activating linked, so that's 2 hits of 10 damage each, 10 total against standard armor.

Plaza
With one cab disabled (he presumes) Sivu moves in to examine its control inputs. Seeing Gammer still inside, he states "Well done. Now evacuate, I need to inspect this vehicle."
While he doesn't know the language of the command signal being sent to all the droids, that input has to be translated to binary at the base level for the cab to follow instructions. If he can find the translational cipher, his datapad could possibly decrypt this new code and let him start doing some real damage to the enemy's efforts.
Mechanics: Computers Check 1P3A vs ?. Gross result 2 successes 3 advantages.

Tevan looks down to see the two stragglers and then looks back at Mik. "You're the tech expert anyways, so how about you start figuring out what we need to pull or slice while I get the others up here?"
He carefully stretches his consciousness to Jen and focuses on easing her upward, sparing her the continued struggle of trying to climb the ship.
Mechanics: Force Move Check 2FR. Result 1LP 1DP, so he can lift Jen (I believe she's Sil 0, since that's Jawa/Ewok size and she's a 10 year old Twi'Lek, but if not, they're out of luck).

Outside on Stage
(rolling 6 VIPs are not moving as fast as they need to respond to not be blown up) The bruiser trio run away from SLAV. GUnther grabs all three girls in a huge scoop of arms and carries them with him. Slyer sees them running and Keeg and him know enough to run. Qeysa grabs two of the Ik'Tal nobles standing looking shocked.
Amura sees that the Dr. Sigurd is trying to drag Thane and Alta with him off the stage. Amura grabs Thane leaving the large Alta for the Large Shadorman.
4 nobles still stand shocked looking at the thermal detonators. Stev swoops down and grabs the 2 young female of the 4 nobles. An Ik'Tal nobleman with a leg injury and an old Kathal male with a cyber assistance rig gone dead due to Ion Grenades are left.
Muvon
Lodor proves his word have merit. The Gthroc takes two bursts into it's already smoking hull. The booming cannon deafens everyone in the area for a moment and pushes the small freighter into the side of the Cultural Center. Glass and steel shatter and bend as the Muvon rips the corner off of the building. The vibration knocks the PD sniper into a spinning whirl. The sniper rifle on his head is as heavy as he is and his center of gravity leaves him flat on his back. The Muvon turns sideways and Blu uses the moment to fire on the Gthroc again. The ship flips from the force spins and lands with an explosion beyond the Cultural center destroying a office building.
Lodor can not fire the Turbolasers for 6 rounds. He may switch the targeting to the side lasers.
In the Plaza
Sivu finds the translation code and with it gains a better understanding of the crystal code operating system. He makes a virus program that can spread into the systems and cut off the translation code. He is not able to make it particularly strong (2d 3 setback difficulty to defeat) but it can slow the system enough for you to catch your breath.
Inside and outside the Plaza the johnny cabs and shuttle buses just stop.
ON the Island
The Vulture Droid Fighters turn toward the incoming Delta Fighters. The sky over Montrol bay is a battleground around the Emperors Island. Barges are beginning to leave the island and head for the mainland.
Tevan reaches out with the force pulling Jenna up to Mikal and Himself. Mikal looks over the antenna and ignites his lightsaber,"The problem is simple. No Antenna, no signal." The antenna is a tripod tower of durasteel. Mikal places his blade against one of the durasteel struts. "This is going to take a few minutes."
A group of battledroids as one about face toward the ship. Thanis smiles and goes full auto into the nicely arraigned unit. He doesn't doesn't aim knowing that any shot is going to hit something in the mass of droids.
Scourne spends her first shot on the face of the emperor statue overhead. Her missile races upwards and burst blowing the face and most of the hood off the statue. "Alway wanted to do that," Scource whispers to herself.
Sparks and shrapnel fall on the ship below. (Tevan roll for the group a 2d agility to make sure something does not land on them)
(Holding explosion, sniper fire, and Vulture Droid Fighters attack until Vandal and Vic move.)

Invictus stood hot on Stev's metaphorical heels, once Stev closed, he twirled out the lightpike and followed up with a strike of his own. ((Lightsaber 2P, 2A vs 2D, net 1 Success, 1 advantage)) He immediately killed thrusters. "Forgetting something?!" Invictus laughed, he asked, aiming less to maim and more to offer Stev an opening.
Vandal kept her approach steady, once she had sufficient cool, she stopped moving, scoped up and pushed herself again (-2 Strain, double aim maneuver). Holographic targetting became a godsend for her. She crossed her arms again and fired, the whine and telltale KRAK of her new blaster tearing the sound barrier a new one was intoxicating. ((Ranged (Heavy) 1P, 3A, 4B vs 3D, 1S; net 2 Successes, 7 Advantages, trigger two crits (47+10) Slightly Dazed (88+20) Horrific Injury (9) Presence; trigger 1 strain recovery bringing Vandal back up to 9.) Damn, it felt good to be her.

Vic clip the sniper rifle right off the head of the PD unit leaving it in two pieces on the rooftop of the Danask Theater.
The Sniper next to the one Vic ht saucer head explodes with the sniper rifle falling over the roof to the ground.
With the snipers falling to the ground on the cultural center all snipers are neutralized.
All citizens did not make it off the stage as the thermal detonator went off. The stage explodes throwing wood on all directions as SLAV is consumed dying his own man.
A team of 4 Vulture Fighters swoop down each striking the Muvon as it scrapes away from the corner of the Cultural Center. It takes damage to ion engines and has a few smoking pock marks in it's hull to show for the strafing run. The fighters are turning for a return run.
Next round- You have the local droids and vehicles under control. The snipers are down. The Ghtroc has crashed. Just 4 Vulture Droids are in you combat zone but you can more swooping around and over the bay you can see Delta Fighters are in battle with them and jetpacked clone troopers are dropping on the Island. As the turn end the Emperor statue's head explodes into a cloud of smoke and flames.

Outside
Stev sets the nobles down nearby. "Take cover." is all he manages to say before he rockets away again, this time in the direction of the Gthroc. While its weapons would be down, the cargo hold should contain some rocket launchers and the like that they could use to deal some damage to the Vultures. He sends over the comms "I'm going to make a pickup at the Gthroc. Let's hope our cargo is still intact."

Plaza
Now that Sivu's got a way to mess with the enemy's commands, he'll try to rinse and repeat on the incoming fighters. He'll see if he's in range of the Vultures to start jamming now, but, if not, he'll start looking for somewhere that's in range.

Muvon
Lodor switches from turbolaser to laser cannon systems almost without thinking as he focuses in on lining up his next shot. This time, he's aiming for a Vulture, which is going to go down a whole lot quicker than that stubborn freighter. He whispers to himself, "Battle droid piloting maneuvers? This is going to be easier than the sims. At least they TRY to surprise you."
Lodor knows exactly where the droids will calculate the path of least risk, so he makes sure to put his shot exactly where that is and lands two hits directly on the ship's engines. He flashes a wide grin as he starts shifting the turret towards his next target.
Mechanics: Gunnery Check 4P1B vs 1D. Net result 1 triumph 2 successes 3 advantages. I'll activate linked with the advantages and a crit with the Triumph. Crit is 91 so its engine is damaged. That's 2 hits of 6 damage each. There's also one nifty boost to whomever rolls next in the big stage/plaza/etc battle!

Vandal locked eyes on the Muvon and waited for her weapon to cool down. She took a moment to raise the rifle and fight up, keeping count of the seconds until she could fire again, in the meantime, she simply waited, keeping everything loved on one of the fighters.
Invictus looked to Stev. "I suppose we should leave the fighters to her." He paused, turning his helmetted head. "She is neither transmitting nor is she receiving. Is she okay?"

Stev responds "Maybe she's still keeping comm silence because she knows the transmission will be intercepted? Unless..." His eyes widen behind the visor of his helm as he comms Sigurd. "Doc, you worked on Vandal earlier. Please tell me she doesn't have any cybernetic brain implants."

At the Gthroc
Stev and Vic land as Stev coms Dr. Sigurd.
"Busy right now, Vandals implants are not cognitive that I know of." The Dr. replies.
As you speak you see a medium laser cannon turret spin in your direction. (you have initiative over a cannon)
The stage is a crumbling mess but it does cause the Vultures to veer off. One is clipped by Lodor and spins out of control lodging itself into a building.
The other three fire as one on the Muvon. The ship takes another set of hits.
Vandal sees the fighters pass overhead and curses slow recharge times.
Sivu tries to extend his virus and finds the Vulture Fighters are not translating the code to normal circuits. They have had their total operating system overthrown with the crystal systems.
FarStar
Quin makes it to the hanger deck thinking to take a fighter out he sees the hanger crew and the few pilots left onboard are fighting off mechanic droids with power tools. He sweeps the droids aside with a swip of his hand. "Can the fighters launch?" He growls.
"If we had a little elevation once we open the bay doors a hundreds of battle droids will swarm in. The quick launch tubes with the X-wings are on the belly of the ship."
"Get in the ships. I will give us the distance we need." QUin sits crossleg on the deck floor and draws the force to him.
"100 seconds to hyperspace. Please prepare 100 seconds to hyperspace launch." The ship announces.

OOC: I don't suppose the Gthroc already has some hull breaches we could just fly into?
Island
Each of the kids manages to move out of the way of any falling debris, but with the approaching droid squad, they had bigger problems. "Mikal, I don't think we HAVE a few minutes! Everybody, step back!"
Tevan plants his feet, outstretches his hands, and focuses all of his energy on the antenna tower. He tries to focus on pulling the upper section away from the lower in order to disrupt the connection but, to his surprise, the entire tower pulls free from the struts and floats in the air. Tevan feels the crushing weight upon his mind, and with a last mental push sends the tower flying towards the battledroids.
After releasing the weight, Tevan feels a weakness overtaking his body and he drops to his knees, breathing heavily as he gasps out "I...I think that was...faster."
Mechanics: Coordination Check vs 2D. Tevan-1 success 1 advantage. Jen-1 success 3 advantages. Mik-0 (Everything cancelled).
Move Check: FR2. Result 3LP (woohoo!). Activating power and the strength upgrade twice, so he can lift a Sil4 object. I'm assuming this tower (or at least a large enough percentage of it) is Sil 4 or less, so with the Pull Control, I think he can yank that thing right out of its mounting.
Discipline Check 2P1A vs 4D. Net result 1 success 1 threat, so he'll take 1 strain. I feel bad for the droids who just took 41 damage.

Vandal popped out from cover and took her shot at the Gthroc. ((Same big pool... net 2 successes 5 advantages. Trigger one crit and recovery of two strain (11/12). 79, power fluctuations of she did enough damage to actually hurt it.)) She spent the next few seconds closing on the Muvon. Not remotely pleased by this turn of events, she entertained comming to get her missile launcher. Instead she continued onward. Invictus on the other hand attempted to close on it using the thrusters. ((2A 3 Successes, don't know the difficulty.))

Gthroc
Yes, the Gthroc has a hole in the side that leads into the port storeroom. Vic thrust into the hold followed by Stev. They find the door to the storeroom is opened and land in the central hallway.
Vandals shot causes the power to flicker in the ship the light power down and only emergency tracks of small LED lights and the light from the doorway allow the two to see anything. A PD unit steps into the hall behind them. He holds a missile launcher and instead of shooting at them is aiming for the storeroom. His missile rockets out heading for the crates of ammo and weapons the force throwing him backwards. (OOC: This would be a destiny point moment guys! The missile will destroy the ship and everyone in it.)
Plaza
Sivu finds the program is not working. Gammer and Sasha move out to find the rest of the group. They head toward the raging fire that is now the stage.
Around the stage Amura, Lt. Slyer, Qesya, Gunther, and the rest are gathering.
Vandal is on the north end of the mushroom gardens looking through her scope at the crashed Gthroc. Closing behind her are the group of Jarrels.
The Gthroc's laser cannons fires in Vandals direction. It's laser blows a 6 meter hole through the Theater. The turret then stops in place and does not seem to be tracking anymore.
Muvon
Brophar pulls the Muvon up climbing up beyond the buildings leaving Blu and Lodor with clear fire zones. Blu fires destroying a Vulture fighter with a turbolaser blast. Looking out Lodor can see the battle over the bay and the barges filled with battledroids setting out for the city.
FarStar
The FarStar shakes then begins to rise it floats away from the firing battledroids. The X-Wings drops from the tubes below the ship and the hanger crew begins to open the door.
The X-Wings spin away from the ship and pound the droid unit below.
Inside Thyte gains control of the bridge but not the 30 astromechs that actually perform jump calculations.
"Sir we can't break in from here. Maybe if we had Bif Zik or Beldon, but I just can't break through." Hydan states.
"Lilith get engineering on the comm." Thyte barks.
"Yes Sir."
The Wookie answers explaining that they are locked out. That you would need to break the antimatter containment and that would kill them all. He has patched into repulsorlift drives to assist whatever is causing the ship to rise. The best they do is get away from the surface to minimize damage to the planet.
"90 seconds to launch"
Island
Tevan sends the antenna crashing down on a group of Battledroids.
Thanis and Scourne are unleashing on the group of droids as the Clonetroopers jetpack down and attack from the other side. As a unit fires at the two soldier Jessa steps forward taking the blaster fire to herself.
"I was unable to scale the ship and believed I could be a useful defense shield for you." She states simply.
The three padawans stand on the hull waiting for the droids to stop moving. Suddenly a crystal wave burst out from the below their feet. It flows up forming a sphere around them.
CUTHBERT
Kaiya and the prisoners are taken through the ship. She notes that the seams between hull plates and along doors seem to be filled with a reddish crystal. The crystal become thicker until you can not see any ship just crystal. The corridor opens to a domed room. In the center is a large computer complex covered in crystal. A holo projector is emitting the image of what looks like an ancient actor's mask. The image is 5m high towering over the group as they stand before it.
"Your crew is a variable that has been difficult to account for Captain. They make predicting the outcome of our mission difficult." A calm monotone voice states.

Vandal snapped out her pistol and raised it. She opened her mind and got to work. Time seemed to slow for her. Everything just seemed so surreal, dropping her rifle, she took to the skies and threw herself in front of the missile. "NOOOO!" She cried out, realizing everything that was going on around her. How in a split second she was going to die. How in a split second everything she'd done amounted to nothing. In a feeble gesture of defiance, she fired her aged pistol. ((OOC: Burning fate. Pool is 3P1A vs 3C 1D Net 2 Triumph, 1 Success, 1 Disadvantage, 1 Despair)) "Don't fail me now..."
You're going to die! What are you doing?!
She fired true.
And she knew now.
She was stopping people with something to live for from doing it themselves.
((OOC: I want my bits to be compressed into a crystal and used to focus a blaster prototype with a line that is named after me.))

Vandal rushes the Gthroc her pistol's fire destroys the missiles guidance system. The missile flies out the gaping hole in the side of the ship missing the payload and arching into the circle of Jarrells and Vandal. (breach 1 so I believe armor soak is useless, 40 wound points, blast 20 points to each Jarrell)
