Paelius succeeded (4 damage) and Izzy will roll for Fargrim.
Paelius stands waiting for the goblins to open the tower door you walked through to cast Ray of Frost at them. He will cover your back if you are going up.

Malik wasn't intending to go up the ladder but to play guard and wait for word from the other group

Fargrim ducks as the flaming oil scorches his back for 4 damage [Dex save total: 11], and steps into the tower. Turning toward the carefully advancing goblins, he growls "Wrath of the Light upon you!" and points at the lead goblin, casting Sacred Flame [Dex save 15 vs 2 points of radiant damage].
Izzy moves through the first courtyard toward the second, looking for the gnome. Any sign of him?

Fargrim slows the advance of the goblins. They start to move away from the tower and inward between the two torches. Paelius hits the same gobin with a bolt of ice and he dies. The surviving guard breaks into a run.
Izzy moves to the middle gatehouse courtyard and sees one goblin die and the other run.

Izzy fires his hand crossbow at the fleeing goblin but misses. [Attack roll: 12; nurtz!] Where's she running to?

She is running north on the map the hall between the torches. Izzy has advantage on his perception roll to move through without stepping on a pressure plate. DC8 the pressure plates don't. have goblin footprints.
She is going the same direction the gnome went.

"Well, where d'you think you're going, lady? The party's back here!" Izzy chases after her [Perception roll: nat 20! (and the other roll was a nat 1! What?!)] deftly matching her steps through the pressure plates. As he runs [bonus Cunning Action: Dash], he fires his hand crossbow at her again [attack roll total: 19, damage roll total: 5] tagging her in the shoulder.

Blackarrow follows to support Oloric, firing at the second goblin. He's able to take the goblin down without breaking stride, running to the front of the pack as he tries to regroup with the rest of the party.
Attack: 20. 10 damage. He'll use the extra success to get some bonus distance and soak up the hits if the other goblins start a counter attack.
OOC: Have fun with your cruise!

Oloric will spend his next action (since Blackarrow is protecting from that second goblin) to slit one of the sleeping goblins throats.
It appears Malik will need to climb up and take care of tower 3 himself. He spends a round climbing to the top. He will ready a hand-axe and open the hatch to get to the two goblins up top.

Hraken shakes his head and snaps out of his trance, with all of the commotion, the beast within had begun to take over. He cannot give into his hunt on the drakes quite yet, he must stick to the plan. He quickly turns and fires his crossbow at a goblin on the third tower. (Attack 18, damage 12).
ooc: sorry for the lack of posts the last few days. I've been quite busy with the holidays. I read through the previous posts, but am still slightly lost. Where are those drakes going? are we planning on taking out the goblins before we take them down? should I try and take them out, or continue helping with the goblins?

[Well the theory was that we'd take out the goblins before the drakes, but they seem to have decided to join the party early. I think we should keep working on the goblins; they've got ranged attacks and dealing with them pot-shotting us while we fight the drakes doesn't appeal to me. I'm gonna see if I can keep the gnome from alerting anybody big, but I'm not real sure that's possible now.]

Stephen went on a cruise so we'll be halted for a week if you didn't see the general board. I just recently saw it

Quick Review Hraken, Oloric, Malik and Blackarrow on the roof. You kill the goblins from tower three and split the throat of one of the two sleeping goblins. The goblins from tower 5 and 6 are moving forward using the tower for cover. Hraken, Oloric, and Blackarrow see the trap door of tower three open and Malik come up to the top level. They also saw the Rage Drakes jump down from the roof to a bridge below. At a Higher tower to the west three figures move up to the roof of the tower. It looks to be 3 Hobgoblins they each toss a large heavy on the ground at the base of their tower. It clangs with the sound of coins and gold spills out of one. Paelius, Fargrim, and Izzy on the first level. Paelius and Fargrim look out the tower door to attack the fleeing goblin and see Izzy chase the creature. Izzy misses with the first shot, dances through the rooms pressure plates and fire again as he reaches the northern hallway. He strikes the Goblin in the shoulder and it falls into the doorway at the other end of the door. The door hangs open and Izzy sees 6 armed goblins in the room. The Gnome is pointing at you,"Kill them before they destroy your future." The Goblins charge at the door. Izzy looks to the west and see two Rage Drakes prowling into the room behind him. Making it to the top, Malik grumbles. "I knew I shouldn't have climbed up here. Not even a goblin to slay!"
Looking at the others up top he waves as he heads back down, "More trouble below! We'll hold down the fort until you get here. Hurry!" He yells to the group above.
He will climb back down and heal himself dropping the remaining distance to the floor on his first turn. "Fargrim do you have a bless spell? We could use it." Malik initiative: 20 (Nat 20 hehe)
Oloric initiative: 11. His likely first action is to finish the other goblin before moving down the tower ladder. Oloric eyes the bags of gold or what appears to be gold by the three goblins.
OOC: how was the Cruise? Welcome back!

I have a tan wife and a full belly so it was very good. I also had time to read the new 5e books and plan out the next adventure. I am following the scales of war but adding a few tweaks.
