Kaiya looks to the group,"We don't have a choice but this mission. We already have Thane, Alta, Allistar, and the rest of our diplomats on planet. For us to no show could destroy our chances of getting the sector into the New Republic. We have to remove the Aegis from any plans requiring stealth until it is clean. That leaves the delta fighters and the jump troopers as options for the Noblestar mission. I think we send both. Theta you prep your men for the jump you will be dropped as soon as we pass the planetary shield. Noell your are expected in the delegation so your team will need to be headed by Ranna. Ranna you need to find a way to fit Bifzik and Lodor with you. Bifzik you know computer systems and Lodor you know weapons. Find a way to disable the Noblestar."
Present: Delta Fighters in hanger bay. Pilots: Ranna, Keeg, Fionia, Tal. Tech Crew: Bifzik riding with Keeg, Lodor riding with Ranna. Pilots have pilot gear and Bifzik and Lodor have vacc suits ready.
The delta's have very limited cargo capacity (no more than a small duffel bag of items). If there anything your characters really want with them?
Theta and his troopers (9) are in the zero-G power suits with extended use jetpacks attached. The jetpack are very cumbersome when not in a zero-g situation and trooper normally disengage them during combat.

"Keeg and I are the smallest so we get the passengers. So climb in Squid'Lek." Ranna points at the small one seat cockpit. 'and suck it in."

OOC: Lodor travels pretty light weapon-wise, with just a vibroknife and heavy blaster pistol, so hopefully those will fit in fine. He's got a hydrospanner, a spray bottle, and a few smaller tools on his belt, but if he can fit in his full tool kit's worth of equipment, that'd be preferable. He also has a breath mask, which will be a must-bring.
Lodor gives a hearty laugh "You know, I haven't heard that one before! I'll have to add that to the potential name list, right between Twi'ulan and Nautwi. Then again, that second one could've just been me mishearing Que's discipline when I was a kid."
When he sees the full space available, his face drops in disappointment, and he says with a grimace "Great, I get to be canned fish. AGAIN. At least this one should have decent climate control, Sasha and I almost froze to death in that Imp prison."
Lodor will climb in and attempt to keep clear of all the various things Ranna needs to access to actually drive the ship. For the entire flight, he will picture himself as a tiny mouse droid, compact and unobtrusive, as an attempt to take up less space. At this point, he just has to hope for the best.

Ranna climbs in basically on top of Lodor. She wiggles into his lap and smirks at his discomfort. "Any ever tell you you smell like sushi? She turns her head smiling at him. I love sushi."
Ooc You can fit the tool kit.
Would it be wrong to joke about the hydrospanner in your pocket?

Theta and a soldier each magnalock onto the wings of the delta. As the Farstar enters the shield the Deltas move out. Instead of the normal burst of ion thrust they slowly creep out at low repulsors. Entering space they begin the slow low power trip to the Noblestar. Ranna sets the trajectory then pulls up a holovid on the heads up display. Medstar General: Fringe of Love comes up. The holodrama has played since before the empire. Its tales of Scoundral doctors on the fringe are panned by most intelligent life forms. Ranna smiles and pulls a snack box out. "Jabba Coin?" she offers Lodor the red round candy coins.

The deltas use a minimum of old fashion maneuver thrusters to slow and match the rotation of the torpedo star. They can not use repulsorlift without drawing attention. They can not magnetic lock to the station without possibly being detected so they float a half dozen meters over the surface. The clone troopers float to then crawl over the surface hand over hand not using magniboots.
Ranna seals her helmet and waits for you to do the same."We will be waiting her for you. I'll let you know what you miss." She motions to the holodrama you have been ignoring for hours.
Athletic check (2d) to get out of the Delta fighter and end up on the surface of the station not floating in space.

As Lodor finishes fitting on the full space suit, he can't help but feel like he's trapped in a can. It's like he's back in Sarne's dungeon-o-horrors, but without even the decency to give him some breathing room. Still, he gets over himself and manages to float to the station without trouble.
Mechanics: Athletics check 1P2A vs 2D. Net result 2 successes.

By the time Lodor maked it to the sphere hull Bifzik has already opened the airlock, disabled security, created a video loop for the halls you will pass, and brought up a schematic of the sphere.
Lodor enters the airlock and see the troopers have secured a area. They leave their vacc seals on their uniforms. Theta looks to Lodor,"commander the life support has been turned off. The bug says it has been off for two days. So what is our plan of attack commander?"
It suddenly dawns on Lodor that he is the senior officer in the assault team.

Lodor quickly mumbles some colorful phrases involving Hutts, Darth Vader's respirator, and the Emperor's nether regions before his brain can get into gear. "Bif, do you see any security beyond the cams? If not, we should probably make our way to the Command Center and check the terminals there for any surprises. After we've got full control of the station, we can see what we need to do to make sure this mega-eyeball doesn't threaten anybody again."

"Sir the ships computer is curious. It is a hybrid system of tradition computer tech and an alien crystal based tech. I can control the normal systems but the crystal tech is running an operating system in an unknown language. It does share symbolism with the Gree Plaques." He brings up a tech blueprint of the ship's systems. "This is two days ago." The amount of crystal tech is less than a tenth centered in the command bridge. "This is now." The systems are over half crystal. "So we have a growing living tech you can't control taking over a weapon of mass destruction only second to DeathStar." Theta states. "Exactly, Fascinating isn't it." Bifzik states.

Lodor gives a frustrated sigh. "Fine, I guess we'll have to take down the weapons the HARD way. We'll need to manually rig some explosives to go boom, since we can't guarantee the targeting systems wouldn't notice a mistake and fix it with this alien tech. Unless, of course, there happens to be an exhaust port that we can just drop some explosives in to make the whole station go up in flames. I mean, this was built BEFORE the Death Star, so they might not've fixed that yet, right? No? Well, I can dream."
"Is there at least a primary targeting control cluster that we can blast? Even with PlaqueTech, the weapons would still need to get input from traditional sources, right?"

Theta turns to explain,"The central rings of torpedoes are control in clusters. The surface of the sphere has advanced sensors that include Dedicated Energy Receptors that allow the sphere to target power grids and weakness in shields. There is no one central targeting computer but 120 DER targeting control groups. The central power generator is larger than our entire ship and is in the core of the sphere. The command bridge is behind the large surveillance dish that is part of the central ring." Lodor knows you came in at one of the sphere's poles staying far away from the major surveillance systems of the equator of the sphere.

"Bif, can you monitor the input the PlaqueTech's sending to the normal systems? Knowing what the station's thinking could give us an idea of what this thing's up to, and how to stop it."

Bifzik works the pad them looks back,"I can monitor they are sending something I just can't tell what it is." You are in a maintenance section on the north pole of the sphere. The Palquetech has taken over the center of the sphere. The sphere shows no life forms but yours.

Lodor inspects the specs, and has a big smile come across his face when he sees the large area dedicated to the hyperdrive. "If the crystals are in the command bridge, then the outlying areas should be clear. Bif, it looks like they've got two hyperdrives, one awfully big, one not so much. I don't suppose you could rig those to rip this station to shreds, could you? That'd be a fast, clean, and easy way to solve our problems."
