I was thinking of a counterclockwise rotation, so I guess the alert would be right at the turbolift...oops.

During your 4th round droids climb the non-functional turbolift and investigate. You hear the clang of scurrying feet and it faster than any droid you have experienced. By the fifth round turn a team of 4 droids enters the area from the east doorway. They look like service droids but have crystal spikes along their limbs and move faster, much faster. They are loping on for limbs instead of 2 as they race down the hall and into your troopers kill zone. The power armored troopers heavy repeater makes quick work of the first two. A Crydroid takes a vent access from the turbolift to the hallway. Vents can only fit one at a time. BifZik begins the process of engaging the hyperdrive.

Lodor uses the door controls to slam the access door shut, then he blasts the panel to expose the wiring hiding within. He'll see if he can disconnect the wires that receive external commands to keep the droids from opening the door back up. It's a whole lot more conspicuous than welding the doors shut, but it's also about as effective, and at this point stealth isn't much of an option anyway.
As he does this, Lodor yells "Welp, looks like it's time to call for a pickup! Everybody else, shut the doors I couldn't get to and make sure they won't open again! And watch out for those kriffing vents!"
OOC: What's the difficulty for using Mechanics to shut out external commands to the door?

Difficulty 1D to mechanically lockout a door. Vents must be wielded or blocked in some way.

Lodor quickly rewires the door and then moves towards Bif's location so he can watch over him.
Mechanics: Mech Check 1P2A vs 1D. Net result 1 success 4 advantages. He'll take two of those to move a bit closer to Bif.

Lodor seals the door and moves south back toward the hyperdrive.
Crystdroids are pouring out of vents in 2 spots and the clonetroopers are blasting one after another. Losing ground they call other troopers to move forward and support them.
Lodor makes it to the intersection and sees the troopers firing on the screaming droids.
Time to Hyperdrive programmed 4 rounds. Time to Hyperdrive Jump 18 rounds.
Ranna responds,"We have autoturrents that have detected us now but will be ready when you need us."
You feel the vibration of turret fire nearby and the shake of explosions on the outer hull.

Lodor comms "Don't worry, we've got about a minute before we can even get into the airlock. Stay safe."
He'll keep watch for any of the nearby vents and check for a report on where the droids are pouring in from.

The next 40 seconds BifZik sets up the jump and locks it in. Theta sees they cannot hold all of the halls and has his troops re-position to protect one path out. The worker droids are replaced by spider like security droids. They begin to fire back at the troopers and race forward on floor, walls, and ceilings at the troopers. Their power armor is dented and scarred with crystdroid attacks and the front-line troopers are is desperate hand to hand battle vs a half dozen droids attacking from all angles. They are slowly giving ground and BifZik begins to run from the hyperdrive controls. "Everything is ready. 113 seconds to jump." Bifzik states as he runs. Outside the Sphere the delta fliers are racing across the surface trying the keep ahead of the turrets. "We need to destroy the turrets in this sector if we are going to be able to pick up our passengers without being dusted." Ranna states. Attachments:

OOC: I may just be confused, but didn't Lodor seal off the entryway on the top right with the Mechanics check earlier, and shouldn't a couple other doors already be fused together too? They just seem to be coming from more directions than I thought they had available.
Also, in which direction is this section's turrets?

They are coming from three vents. They are just a massive hoard of droids. The turrets are on the outside of the hull. BifZik could do his thing and try to shut them down. This would mean he stops resisting any attempt to shut down the hyperdrive.

Can we try to just disable the hyperdrive override/external communication centers so all it can do is follow the last command? That seemed to work pretty well on the door.

That was a physical/mechanical destruction. If you want to turn around you could go back and do it at the hyperdrive. You have 11 rounds to get out. The trip down the tunnels is 80m away. You are 70m away from the airlock and can move 10m per round without strain. What would you like to do?

Lodor walks up to the nearest dataport and plugs his datapad in. "Okay Bif, you're good at multitasking, right? Well, here's a fun one: explain to me how to shut down the turrets while simultaneously keeping the hyperdrive controls locked down. Fun, right?" He lets out a nervous chuckle as he begins working his way through the system.
Mechanics: Computers Check with an assist from Bif gives him a pool of 3P1A. If Bif isn't allowed to assist, his pool is 1P2A. Since I don't know the difficulty of it, I guess I'll have to request you to roll.

Locking down an Imperial Computer System and deactivating turrets is an impossible action for all but the most skilled slicers. Bif'Zik tries but Lodor just ends up seeing his datapad lock down by the security counter programs. He can not us his datapad until a high level programmer debugs the entire system. The screen shows the Imperial symbol with a warning.
"You have enter a government computer system please cease and desists all activities. Government authorities will arrive shortly."
You are 70m away from the airlock and 100 seconds (10 rounds) from jump. Spyderdroids are starting to leak past the quickly becoming overwhelmed troopers.

Lodor rolls his eyes and lets out a frustrated sigh "Fine! We'll trade! I'll delay the mainframe from counteracting the jump as long as I can!"
He pulls his locked up pad from the hookup trades spots, because while he's no Bifzik, he could hopefully delay the mainframe. Since Bif already had it ready to go, he just had to try to follow the trail blazed for him...easier said than done...
