"There is a physical lockdown that makes it impossible for both hyperdrives to fire at once. If we moved to the hyperdrive generators and removed the lock we could seperate the computer systems and make them jump to two seperate points. This would cause a blackhole event and then a nova burst at the point of the jump. It would destroy the ship and probably a sizable percentage of the planet and most life on Gandel Ott. I'm not sure this is a good plan." Bifzik explains. "We could look in and have the noblestar jump into the star."

Lodor chuckles nervously "I guess I don't have too much experience with dual-drive ships. I'd hoped the size difference between the two would've kept that from happening. Oh well, I guess we can take things the normal way. Let's hope the star isn't upset about having this much firepower blow in it." Lodor begins to search the schematic for the most direct way to the hyperdrive that stays plenty far away from the PlaqueTech HQ.

Roll your warfare or better yet roll Theta's warfare to find the best way. (2P2A vs. 3C) The more you roll the less you run into along the way.

Lodor and Theta work together to find the best route they can through the ship. Lodor thinks they've done a pretty good job managing the risks and reward of the path they went with.
Mechanics: Warfare Check 2P2A vs 3C. Net result 1 triumph (with its success uncancelled), 1 advantage.

BifZik reroutes the lift sensors to show no usage as you take the lift down to the south pole of the sphere. As you travel he speaks,"I found footage from the droid maintenance bay yesterday." He spins his datapad toward you and you see a line of droids waiting for the maintenance droids in the center of the bay. The bay is crossed with crystals like frost on all of the equipment. As each droid comes forward the droids place a small crystal in their CPU. The crystal begins to spread over them as they walk away. With every step crystal spikes begin to project from their joints. With every step their moves become smoother, faster, more balanced. "That was yesterday. At the rate they are being assimilated their are hundreds on board if not thousands. Once I begin the hyperspace jump we will have 2 minutes until this vessel jumps. We do not want to be aboard when it reenters real space in the star. Also once i begin they will know we are here." OOC: What prep do you want make before BifZik begins his process. He will require 1 minute to set up the jump. Then you have 2 minutes to get out of the sphere.

Lodor says "Okay, we'll need to prep a quick exit then. Luckily, since the hyperdrive's pretty close to the surface of the station, we should be able to blow a hole into the turbolift shaft and be out of here. When Bif starts hacking, since our position'll be revealed anyways, I'll comm the fighters to pick us up and get us out of here. Let's get ready for a whole lot of company though, since we'll need to give Bif as much time as possible to make sure this gets done right." Lodor draws his own pistol as he explains this. He's decided that he really has to get some better firepower before the next mission.

The nearest airlock is 200m down the maze of hallways away from the hyperdrive. BifZik looks to you,"You could all leave for the airlock as I set the systems. It would be logical to not risk the entire hive when you could risk one." "You sound like a clone BifZik," Theta comments.

Lodor says "No can do, Bif. With your hacking skills, you're probably in the top 20 most important people on the crew, maybe even top 10. We'll make sure you get out of this."
OOC: What kind of gear are the clones packing? I'm thinking we weld all the incoming doors shut, lock down the turbolifts on another level, blow a hole in the nearby turbolift shaft, and hop out when we need to escape, but if we don't have the gear for it we can't. Lodor's got a tool kit, so that should include limited welding gear, but definitely not explosives.

They have powersuits and repeating blasters. They did not bring any tools but do have a couple of frag grenades each.
You have 5 access points you could seal. It would take about 1 minute per point and you only have one tool. Look on the map and let me know if you want to move or do anything before BifZik begins. We can hold off on the call to the Deltas until BifZik officially begins.

Then let's fuse every door that we don't need to escape, as well as any air vents, grates, etc, using the blasters as improvised welders to cut down on time. Have Bif lock down all turbolifts and every single door he can on the ship (activated when he starts the hyperdrive hack to avoid detection), and have the troopers split into squads of equal size to guard every hallway on our path to allow for immediate responses, with Lodor staying with Bif and Theta guarding the airlock. That way, there should be no way for the baddies to possibly get in, and if they do by some miracle, they'll immediately face a hail of repeater fire.

Please roll mechanics roll for each to find how long it will take and if they notice. There are 5 doors if you go with vents and grates you need to wield about 20 more access points. So you have a half hour and 25 mechanics rolls ahead of Lodor (dc 3d). I will move Theta to the airlock. Will he have any troopers with him?

Actually, since there's that many, it'll be better just to seal the vents and grates that empty out into the hallways we're using for our escape, with those being the vertical hall connecting to the hyperdrive, the horizontal one connecting that to the green room, the vertical one connecting that to the next horizontal hall, that hall, and the vertical hall connecting it to the airlock. The hall connected to the hyperdrive will be Bif and Lodor, the hall connected to the airlock will have Theta and a clone, and each other hall will have 2 clones each.
I'll guess reducing the number of vents will at least reduce the target number by 5, so I'll put 20 check results up here.

After Wielding the third passage BifZik calls to Lodor,"We have an alert. Crydroids are being sent to investigate the unusal temperature readings on the vent. By the 5th round you have crydroids at the doorway.
At what point do you want BifZik to begin hyperdrive calculations and engagement?

Lodor responds "Which way are they coming from? If we can fool them and make them leave reporting an all-clear, it could be an even better cover for our moves."
If they have a chance to pull off hiding their work, Lodor will hide his work and find something to explain the thermal anomaly without causing reason to suspect an outside influence. Otherwise, they'll start the hack and he'll rush to fuse the door they're approaching from, finish up the doors, and then start providing cover for Bif.

BifZik tries to hack the sensors and finds they report is already in the crytech systems. He has downloaded samples of the code language but has no ability to communicate with it let alone hack it.
Which side did you start with? That is where they are coming to.
