Vandal stares with an inconsolably deadpan expression etched deeply into her features, wreathed in the white plasteel and laminate. "That holodrama was old back when I still had all my parts." She replied cooly, petting Bondie. "Watch Bondie, I have to kill something." She replied in a businesslike manner, nuzzling the rat with her resealed armor and shrugging as she drew her pistol and set it to lethal. She stared. "Okay, you. Without the bad knee, I'm going to need a toss."

OOC: Will Lodor toss Vandal at the Rock Creature?
Is Krudar with the group or back at Gunnery?
BIC: Slyer calls down as out of the corner of his eye he sees Lilith make a disgusted face at him,"Your too scared to join him. You will sit in your chair like all of the little captains and send others to die." When he looks straight at her Lilith is looking down at her station.
Then Colton looks up,"Coward." Looking straight back to him he sees he is working over the helm station. It continues again and again a vile insult, a challenge to his ability, a look of disgust but when he turns they are working as normal. No, as he looks quickly back and forth he know notices Taska Rorn is looking at him with a tilted head and a curious expression.
Now Lilith is looking at him with concern.
The Cathar Taska Rorn walks to his station as Hydan is calling that Slyer should have died on Alderaan. Slyer jerks his head away from Taska and stares as Hydan who has stopped working his station and is looking at Slyer. "Sir, Is there something wrong?" Taska reaches out to touch his hand and he feels her nails dig into the top of his hand, "Bleed coward." She snarls.

Brophar stands beside the Muvon looking at the flight deck full of stunned crewmen. He moves to the last man standing, well the last half man standing Thyte. "Thanks for the help XO. Not that couldn't of handled it myself but.."
Thyte turns suddenly,"Is my X-Wing ready. We need to get in the sky and protect this base." He pushes past Brophar to the airlock of the docking tubes that run under belly of the FarStar."I know everyone his trusting this farmer boy to save the day, but I think a few pilots who have been a pilot's seat may help. I don't know what Wedge is thinking replacing me with that runt anyway."
"Hey XO I'm not sure your thinking clearly," Brophar approaches him.
"I'm the only one here thinking clearly. We have the most destructive weapon ever devised approaching and I'm going to sit on this moon and wait to die." He opens the airlock as Brophar touches his shoulder.
Brophar goes flying back Thyte's cyborg arm knocking him to the floor. Brophar is trying to shake the cobwebs out of his head and Thyte climbs down the tube toward one of the defenders.

Slyer thinks to himself, push out the dark thoughts. He has led the away teams and commanded the ship in capital ship on ship. He is confident in his ability and his contribution. He ignores the perceived slights, nothing more than mind tricks and he is stronger willed than that. He replies to the bridge "you are all doing a fine job, I still need the captain to make her way to the bridge and does Lodor need any help in science? Thyte has not checked back as well as Gorak for some time, status by department then separate groups. Like to know how the astro guesses are going as well. Keep working hard do not let the mind tricks affect you we will see our way through this."
I thought Krudar was with group he can be back in Gunnery if needed. If with the group he will reply to Potshot as maybe not so short but seems they must of hit ROCK bottom, yes it will get a groan as his forte is gunnery not humor.

Potshot slaps Krudar on the back lightly,"I knew I would get to you yet." How about you give me a hand tossing this little lady at her next date." Potshot reaches to grab one side (and aid in the throw) of Vandal.
----
Gorak answers- We have half of the ship crew sedated or stunned. My new security report that Thyte has locked himself on a launch tube and is trying to launch a defender so he can help fight the Battle of Yavin. Vandal has yet to report to me from science department and she was to contact the captain. She was last seen in the science labs. I also have Gunthar here assisting in removing a pipe from Private Merimen's leg and suturing the wound with great skill. Curious he is the one who is positively effected by the events.
Brophar answers- Sir, Thyte is in a defender and is overriding our security lock downs as fast as we can get them up. If he launches the defender in a hyperspace bubble he could be dropped anywhere in space with no hyperspace drive.
Lowffyrrnn gowls- Engineering is down to 5 crew but the situation is as normal as can be for being trapped in a hyperspace bubble. There are incredible power and hyperspace readings from the science labs. At one time it was showing a 4 dimensional space in the science lab but that is now fluctuating. We just don't have enough engineers left to spare one to investigate.
Loh'Khar answers- Support is doing what it can to assist medical with medication and security.
Driod ops does not answer, nor does gunnery, or someone from medical or science.

Lydia paused, raising her hand. "Wait. Melee would get me killed at this size." She said in a flat tone, while she looked about ready to spring. "Eh, I have no advancement opportunities anyway." She tugged her arm free, and in a cold fashion she twisted like some sort of insane gun-toting ballerina and fired.

Mechanics (Ranged (Light)): 1 Triumph, 3 Successes, 1 Advantage, 1 Failure, 2 Threat (Actual); 1 Triumph, 2 Successes, 1 Threat (Net)
Expending Triumph to trigger Critical Injury (34) Stunned: The target is staggered until the end of his next turn.
Expending Threat: Lydia suffers 1 Strain
The spin was flawless, but it only lasted until she stopped. The newfound smallness threw off her center of gravity, no longer able to muster the same amount of mass to stop herself. She spun out of control and bashed her face against a nearby table, rattling her for a bit and leaving her with a nice nick on the brow of her visor which drove home exactly how fragile she was at half size. Even with her slightly diminished capacities she had the presence of mind to move to close with the beast.
Or perhaps she lacked the sensibilities to realize how idiotic the idea was.

Lodor eyes the size difference between the shrunken trooper and the rock monster, and decides it's a good time to pull the heat over in his direction. He blasts a shot towards the creature, yelling "Hey, Mountain Man! Come over here, and the two of us can have a little rumble! What, are you scared of a little fishy?! Let me see what you've got!"
As he yells out assorted and progressively more terrible taunts, he positions himself in front of a ledge for the platform he's standing on. As he waits for it to charge, he quietly mutters "Let's hope it's as agile as a rock too."

The rock creature stands stunned from the attack. Potshot seeing Vandal taking the blow rushes forward to put himself between her and the rock creature. He shoves a small round thermal detonator into the beast's mass of shifting thoracic rocks. The grenade begins to shift and roll in with the rest of the rocks. Jittonne moves over by Lodor and adds taunts trying to get the creature's attention. Bifzit crawls from under the table toward friend Lodor. "This broken terrasect has created many fascination dimensional distortions." Krudar Vandal and Potshot are in close and Lodor and company are 10m away on the edge of the mote.

"Careful. I don't think we'll get a bonus if it kills itself to escape your ribbing." Vandal chuckled, weaving to get a vector that wouldn't end up Potshot getting himself torn apart by her fire. Her chuckle faded into an inhalation, taking the weapon in both hands and steadying it, her mind, eye and hand a perfect weapon honed by fierce Imperial tactical indoctrination. This was not the flashy snapshot from before, this was practiced, this was precise and this was disciplined.

Potshot rushes forward slamming into the rock creature with every once of his massive (if flabby) frame. The creature stumbles back and falls off the mote. The hyperspace grabs the creature rushing it away. Potshot turns to Vandal and lifts a detonator. "As my friend would say, Boom!" The creature explodes the explosion and the rubble is pulled away. It suddenly bursts into a warp of light and is gone.
Bifzit the verpine looks to the group,"Good work. Moving the creature out of range of the singularity pushed it out of the warp bubble and into hyperspace."
Jittonne stops taunting the creature and looks to Lodor,"I thought it was good plan."

Vandal eyed the rest of the crew, still holding the blaster pistol, but twirled it after a brief pause before holstering it. "Nice trick." She quipped. "I don't have the authority to bark orders. So I won't. I've got a full combat rig right now, so if you insist on fighting, I'm at point--if you want to do damage control, just use the security frequency for a distress call." She said finally. In the Imperial days she'd just kill one to demonstrate her resolve and start barking orders, then kill the rest if their resolve still held--go home with a fat paycheck and a dirty conscience. As a Republic soldier, however, as much as she resented the Republic, she was not a murderer. "...Just be careful." The faceless trooper said, heading to the edge and aiming herself at the main mote and launching herself again.

Krudar wonders what has came over him as the creature fades away, jokes, trying to fight at close range, tossing crew-members, leaving his beloved gunnery bay? He was a Duros, gunner, long range specialist and the Chief time to get back to his beloved real space.
Krudar tells the bridge what has transpired here making sure to capture all they did. He will relay the Duros story of different aspects of hyperspace to his favorite Twi'lik and tell her to also cross reference with Mon Cal and humans, star wanders had faced this before and prevailed.

OoC: There is no one main mote. I have placed the original lab area they where before the science lab became a 4 dimensional then started to break down. Which mote is Vandal jumping for? You are in geological. Attachments:

Lodor pats Potshot on the back. "Nice job big guy! That rock beast didn't stand a chance! You'll have to tell me where you're getting these thermal detonators though. I'd love to have some ready for when things go...like they are now, actually. C'mon, we can't let the trooper have all the fun, let's back her up."
Lodor's not accustomed to zero-G, so he just walks down the path to the lifeboat, keeping his blaster trained ahead in case they find more trouble.

Lodor's group follows him with Potshot explaining,"I had an old friend who always said a towel is the most massively useful to always carry when travelling the stars. I have always believed it is a close second to a thermal detonator."
As they walk the path Vandel jumps into the hyperspace flow again and accelerates rapidly to the lifeboat. She hits the side of the lifeboats and grabs a hold with her arms all of her arms. She looks down her body from one hairy section to another counting the legs and stopping at 2 dozen. Lodor and the group reach the end of the path that leads to the lifeboat airlock and look at the 2m long caterpillar crawling along the outer hull.
"Well she is the right size now," Jittonne offers.
