Lodor hops back as the pathways disappear. "Woah! Okay, we have a problem here. What if the changes don't go when the tablet does? Then, if the tablet goes away, we'll all be trapped as whatever we become when we head out of the ship. With half the crew crazy and the captain a bug-and not the smart kind-we wouldn't stand a chance. I can unhook the engine's power couplings right now, and we can see if we can fix this. Bif, you seem to know a ton about this thing, so do you have any idea if the changes are permanent? Do you at least know how this thing started up so that we can figure out how to shut it down?"

Bifzik looks thoughtful."My thought would be that removing the source of the disruption would reset our own universe. It is one theory and plausable with evidence given."

At that point, assuming I still have the presence of mind to do so, move it to a rendezvous." Vandal said. "But at any rate, we don't have much time. Whatever we're doing, we need to decide now." There was certainly urgency. "Those of us not on the suicide mission need to continue the rescue, because while we decide, our way out--their way out is starting to collapse."

The clock is down to 1 minute. The warp is spreading.
Slyer sees Taskar Rorn's station break off and spin into hyperspace disappearing. The decks on the bow of the ship are breaking up.
Someone needs to make a decisive move.
Cthulhu Edly can resist the urge to eat the Captain no more. He tosses her to the floor and launches himself into the hyperspace void. You see his tentacled body blink out of existence.

Vandal eyed the others and set foot inside the lifeboat. "I'm taking the company ride and breaking this damned thing." She said flatly, popping the seals and stepping into the shuttle. "The rest of you, continue the mission and protect our own." She pulled her helmet off and looked directly at the relic, then at the others, the gleaming durasteel reconstruction visible as she looked them all over. "Hop to it, the Captain doesn't have any time left. They'll die if we aren't quick."

Lodor yells "Wait!" and hops into the lifeboat. "If Potshot died in a vacuum, we would've seen him pop. Instead, he just vanished. Astrogation said that the reason the FarStar's trapped is that there were two hypserspace jumps. This sucker's making the second one. I say if we've got a space magic warp drive, we use it to get this thing safely away from the crew before we blast it, and maybe we can pull Potshot out before the vacuum kills him. I'll pilot us straight into that void after him."
He then moves into the pilot's station and adds "We don't leave our own to die. Not him" he turns to Vandal "and not you. Besides, two of us gives a better chance of one of us staying sentient long enough to get back."

Lodor and Vandal takes seats in the cockpit as Jittonne, Krudar, and Bifzik leave the lifeboat.
"Other theory is the ahip and lifeboat are lost in dimesional rift forever." Bifzik states,"Is only theory."
The ship launches into the hyperspace and you feel like you are everything and nothing all at once.
