"Well, that depends on what you're hunting. I'm sure nobody would argue about hunting NON-SENTIENT animals. Then again, if it's Imperial or criminal, I think the town would love to see some hunting anyway." Stev gives a sly grin. "Does that sound like a good enough deal to you?"

Bifzit is disarming the bomb and misses the auto-destruct mode (Success but Despair). The Bomb begins it's 10 second countdown to explode. BifZit calming tells the others to clear the area and freezes the self destruct mechanism. He pulls it from the bomb and tells Thanis to throw it at a nearby crater. Thanis (5 success 2 advantages) assistance saves the group as he tosses the frozen into the crater and it explodes making a deeper crater but not detonating in the crews face.
The rest of you groups here the explosion as it shakes the area.

"Update, is everyone safe?" Stev is told what happens, and then focuses back on the Trandoshan.
"Well, I have a few questions for you..."
Stev asks a variety of questions, so I'll post the list here to save time. Feel free to reword to fit the context of prior responses the Trandoshan gives. Also, if he doesn't have answers, Stev will return to the group and take back the sergeant for interrogation.
"Have you worked with the Empire? Do you have any knowledge of the Empire's operations here or where they work with other slavers?" "Where did you come from, and where were you taking the slaves?" "Do you have any logs of the different camps you've been to, and could you describe them or point them out on a nav chart with reasonable accuracy?" "Do you know anything about the gravimetric disturbance that is causing erroneous jumps in this area?" "What are the various passwords, highsigns, and other forms of verification necessary to identify as a member of your slaver guild?" "Were you involved in the sales of Force Sensitives, and if so, where, when, who, and how many?" "Does your slaver guild have a tattoo for identification, if so, where is it and do they vary based on rank?" "What was the crew complement of your slaver ship, and how large was it compared to others in your organization?" "Who are the top members of your organization, and how could we identify them?" "Do you implant any sort of tracers on your slaves or crew, and could we have that tracking frequency if they do?" "What kind of equipment do most slavers and slaver ships have access to, and where do they buy it?" "Have you made deals with anyone else on this planet, or any of the noble houses, and could you testify and provide any proof?" "Why did the captain talk about Gorak? Who is Gorak to you? Why is he so important? What work has he done with you, and why did he stop? Can you prove your claims?"

"Have you worked with the Empire? Do you have any knowledge of the Empire's operations here or where they work with other slavers?"
The empire is one of our best clients. They buy many of our prey.
"Where did you come from, and where were you taking the slaves?"
We stay many shadowports, take slaves to Bombassasa he pay good. If slaves witchessss we sell to Sarness make big creditsss.
"Do you have any logs of the different camps you've been to, and could you describe them or point them out on a nav chart with reasonable accuracy?"
He looks at you blankly.
"Do you know anything about the gravimetric disturbance that is causing erroneous jumps in this area?"
Blank stare doesn't know what that means.
"What are the various passwords, highsigns, and other forms of verification necessary to identify as a member of your slaver guild?"
Sabiador Slavers branded for life. He pulls up his right sleave showing a burned mark in his skin of a skull with a chain around it's neck bones and flaming eye sockets.
"Were you involved in the sales of Force Sensitives, and if so, where, when, who, and how many?"
Only been hired for few weeks have heard many sold.
"Does your slaver guild have a tattoo for identification, if so, where is it and do they vary based on rank?"
Already answered.
"What was the crew complement of your slaver ship, and how large was it compared to others in your organization?"
We hasss 6 ships and a shadowport all our own in Pembric system.
"Who are the top members of your organization, and how could we identify them?"
Reek is big boss. They have brand like me.
"Do you implant any sort of tracers on your slaves or crew, and could we have that tracking frequency if they do?"
Looks at you blankly. Thatss would takesss awaysss from hunt.
"What kind of equipment do most slavers and slaver ships have access to, and where do they buy it?"
What ever we can find.
"Have you made deals with anyone else on this planet, or any of the noble houses, and could you testify and provide any proof?"
I no make deals, I huntsss.
"Why did the captain talk about Gorak? Who is Gorak to you? Why is he so important? What work has he done with you, and why did he stop? Can you prove your claims?"
Don't know a Gorak. Reek is boss though and he say if meetsss Rodian named Gorak hunt and kill of sight. He give big money for Gorak.
Questioning the other slavers you find they all know about the same things. All of them are new hires it seems the Sabiador Slavers replaced a number of crewmen just a few months ago. The slavers believe it was a change in management from the last boss to Captian Reek. Reek cleaned house killing anyone he thought was still faithful to the old captain.

Stev mulls over the information. The slavers regularly sold to the Empire, but also to Bombassa, whatever that is, and Force Users went to Sarne. Sabiador Slavers have a brand on their right arm of a skull with a chain around its neck bones and flaming eye sockets. There are 6 slaver ships and a shadowport in the Pembric system. Reek is the slaver captain, and has placed a large bounty on Gorak. He also recently took over and killed anyone connected to the old captain, so Gorak likely was closely affiliated with the old captain, or may even have been the captain.
Stev considers what the next move he should make is. He'd like to send the slavers to secure the zoo, since they love to hunt, but then they'd be under Gorak's command, which is highly suspect at the moment. The best choice will be to take them to train with Theta, and after they learn to respect the authority of the New Republic they can work under a trustworthy officer, perhaps one of the clones.
Stev returns to the rest of the crew as they finish up freeing the many handcuffed slaves and gathering up whatever medical supplies could fit in the speeders. "Alright team, it's time for us to start taking these people to safety in the camp. Hand out whatever breath masks that were in the hospital to as many people as you can, starting with the children and the elderly, then the more physically robust."
"When everyone's ready to go, we march. The fast speeder will take point, and the damaged one will take rear guard. If any of the civilians are combat trained, give them whatever weapons we can spare in case we're ambushed on the way home."
"Biv, you and I are the scouts, so we'll take point ahead of the pack and scan the area for landmines and enemy encampments. Scoryn, I'll check in for updates whenever Biv and I clear an area, but unless I'm in direct contact, you're in charge. I know you'll make the right calls. Everyone else, report to the same positions as before. We've got a long walk ahead of us."

It is a little over an hour to walk to the Park. You stride in proudly with a trail of rescued civilians behind you. You can not help smiling when you see family members see each other and run to embrace. What was days of darkness just became a little brighter. You notice that civilians in blast helmets and vests carrying new republic blasters now patrol with power armored clone troopers. The Church of the Prophet feeling the area is secure has left the Brakia Holdings and joined the relief efforts. You are feeling good about your progress until you see the media reports on the Imperial News Network that is still reporting from mining outposts in the northern mountains but somehow have footage from the city itself.
OOC Please go back to the Main mission 5 City in Peril thread.
