Biv mows down a group jumping from second story windows down at his speeder watching a half dozen hit the ground and burn. Tann stands on the hood of the speeder to fire at the CCP on the roof she targets the ones holding the Duros blasters hitting all four of them. Stev jumps from the higher roof blasts his grapple at the roof of the hospital and swings rolling into the door. He comes up and takes out 4 CCP of the swarms of patients coming at him. Once inside he notes what is left of the Imperial signage on the walls and that the doors have a detention block level of security. Thanis, Stev, and Bifzik are grappled by multiple CCP with attempts to bite and claw. They must make a 3D 1C (Despair lose action for round, failures are wounds, threats are strain) athletics check to move away from the swarm of CCP that is holding them. Bifzik's group is carrying him to the stairs. Round 2 Initiative Order 2 PC 2 GM 1 PC 1 GM 2 PC 2 GM 3 PC

Stev bursts through the mob of CCPs grabbing him and charges through Bifzik's group, causing them to let go of Bifzik for a moment. Luckily, Bifzik manages to land on his feet (or whatever his equivalent appendages are called) after being dropped.
"This is a mental asylum! There has to be a way to lock the area down and give us time to escape. Bifzik, find it!"
Stev thrusts a hand into the mob swarming Thanis. "Thanis, grab my hand! You and Bifzik can look for a solution while I delay these people as long as I can!"
Mechanics: Athletics Check 3P2A vs 3D1C. Net result 1 triumph 1 advantage. Applying advantage to next roll. Athletics Check 3P2A1B vs 3D1C. Net result 2 successes 2 advantages. Boost die used for Bifzik's roll to land on his feet. Coordination Check 3A1B vs 2D. Net result 2 successes 3 advantages. 3 advantages used to give Bifzik +1 melee defense for this turn. Stev is in place to aid Thanis' Athletics Check.
Thanis hears Stev and grabs onto his gauntlet. He feels a sharp nail scrape his arm, but no other damage is done. Thanis isn't going to sit around in the dark playing find the lockdown button with a bunch of crazies, but he figures that, while Stev can handle himself, Bifzik can't, so he lifts Bifzik over his shoulder and rushes back to the speeder.
"Okay, retreating to the hospital was a bad idea. Bifzik, get this speeder running so we can fight back!"
Mechanics: Athletics Check 2P3A vs 3D1C. Net result 5 successes 1 threat. Thanis takes 1 Strain. Discipline Check 3A vs 4D. Net result 1 failure 1 advantage. He's not willing to stay in the building, but he is disciplined enough to save Bifzik. Athletics Check 2P2A vs 3D. Net result 2 successes 2 advantages. Advantages converted into a boost die to be used later this turn.

Biv doesn't know how the team is supposed to stop these crazies from stampeding all over-wait, stampeding! "Team, we need to stop treating the crazies like an enemy force and start treating them like an angry herd. They're happy to attack anybody, so I say we herd them over to the slaver camp and have both problems resolve each other. One speeder needs to lead the group while the other needs to take care of any stragglers. Bifzik, you and I'll be on this speeder, so I need you to get it fixed up pronto. Anybody else wanna be bait?"
Stev replies "As of right now, these patients are getting so close to me I may need them to buy me dinner and take me to a vid, so I'll join the bait. Also, if we do this, I'll hop off the speeder into the slaver ship in order to protect any slaves onboard. We can't risk them getting hurt."
Thanis says "I'm already here, plus I'd rather be running away from the horde instead of towards it, so I'll take over the E-Web."
"Well, I suppose there's only one thing left to do." Biv fires the E-Web at the group of Rodians on the rooftop. They won't be too keen to fire any time soon. He then slides into the driver's seat of the speeder and gets ready to gun it once everyone's ready to go.
Mechanics: Gunnery Check 3A1B vs 3D1S. Net result 2 successes 3 advantages. That's a lot of dead Rodians.

1 PC Bifzit begins to attempt to reroute power cells directly to the repulsorlift. He gets the hunk of scrap that was once a speeder able to move at speed 1 (10m) and somewhat turn.
1 GM A group of CCP grab and bite Stev. The grapple him but cause no damage.
2 PC Biv takes out the Rodians and a corner of the building.
Unda fires on the group of CCP running at the speeder to keep them away from Bifzit.

Scoryn yells "Strap in!" and pulls a hard reverse with the landspeeder, causing all the CCPs to lose their grips. She then charges the speeder into the pile at the other speeder, dispersing the patients.
Unda hops into the speeder as it barrels through the patients, and prepares his weapon for herding.
Mechanics: Pilot Check 2P2A vs 3D1C. Net result 2 Triumphs, 1 success. 1 Triumph used to make all the CCPs let go, the other is used for a free maneuver. Pilot Check 2P2A vs 3D1C. Net result 1 success. Unda utilizes his reserved maneuver to enter the speeder. Athletics Check 4A vs 4D. Net result 2 successes 1 advantage. Advantage applied to next roll.
Vallens disperses the CCPs that still remain near the speeder. He'd be much happier firing at them, but right now he's just scaring them away. With Unda and Vallens both pointing weapons at them, the patients are scared enough to run back into the hospital.
OOC: Guessing on the patients' Willpower here. I can't imagine it's particularly high, since they're insane, but I gave them the average value just in case. Mechanics: Coercion Check 1P1A1B vs 2A. Net result 2 successes 1 advantage.
Tann adds in her fire, and while the CCPs around Stev are still biting, most of the others are being herded by the speeders.
Everyone is surprised that Biv's herding plan is actually shaping up to be successful, but nobody's complaining.

Scourne's speeder beats off the last of the CCP and Unda crawls to the co-pilot seat. Tann and Vallins guard the back unless CCP get too close as you drive west just fast enough to keep ahead of the crowd but not too far away that they give up.
The broken speeder is moving only slightly faster than the CCP chasing it. Bifzit pilots the speeder as it spews smoke and Biv and Thanis fight off CCP.
Stev pushes through the CCP in the building and they follow him out as he shots a grapple to the building roof and climbs up. He makes the roof and can see the top of the Slaver's freighter. The ship looks to be powering up. You know from this distance and on the ground it will be unable to use it turrets on your group. If it takes off it can crater the area and your unit.

Stev comms the team as he's running across the rooftops. "The ship is powering up. If it lifts off, we're dead and the slaves are doomed. Bifzik, I want you to milk that speeder for all that's left in it, then Thanis and Biv need to get into that ship and neutralize the gunner and pilot, in that order. I'll join you if I can get there in time. Rear speeder, I know you're faster, but if you break formation the lead speeder's done for, so there's nothing we can do about that. Keep those patients in line, and have them attack any slavers that got left behind. If the ship lifts off, just run to cover as fast as you can. I think I'll have a way to stop them without killing the slaves inside."

Stev jumps the gap from one rooftop to another and is racing across the roof. Looking down he can see the the port loading ramp is open and the slavers are herding captured citizens on board quickly. The human sergeant is their with other groups of rodians, duros, and transdoshian slavers on each side. They are next to slaves and any spray of autofire will almost certainly hit civilians. Bifzit speeder is putting along with occasional CCP crawling up and being kicked back by Thanis and Biv. Scourne, Tann, Unda and Vallens speeder races ahead and turns the corner. Tann, Vallens, and Unda take single shots at the nearest Duros not wanting to wipe out the crowd with the e-web. Unda downs a Duros. Tann stands in the speeder aims both blasters and fires a salvo of shots trusting her skill. Her skill is not enough the fire misses the Duros and hit 3 slaves downing them. Vallen shoots high of the Duros and the crowd. The slaves are chained together and just drop to the ground as a group the faster reacting slaves pulling the others down. You notice the ship has forward port and starboard turrets. The starboard one can not fire at your positions. The port one has a building in the way of firing on your speeders and Stev is too high to fire on. You are back in combat. Initiative Order 2 PC 2 GM 1 PC 1 GM 2 PC 2 GM 3 PC

Stev comms "Switch all weapons to stun! Keeping the civilians safe is our first priority! Bifzik and team, lead the CCPs away from the ship, the civilians haven't been caged yet! Stang, this is the last time I base my plans on my enemies being competent!" and then jumps off the building feet first onto the sergeant. The sergeant suffers the force of two kicks and gravity itself, and is knocked out instantly. As Stev stands from his landing, he glares directly at the Rodians and growls "Surrender. Now."
Mechanics: Athletics Check 3P2A vs 3D. Net result 1 success 4 advantages. Applying advantages for 2 boosts. Brawl Check 2P3A2B vs 3D. Net result 3 successes 3 advantages. 2 advantages used to apply additional attack to 2-fist attack, causing 3 hits at 10 damage each. 1 advantage applied to Coercion check. Coercion Check 4A1B vs...not sure of skills for enemy. Will make roll for 1D, then add 1D result to up each expected difficulty level. 1D: 3 successes 2 advantages. 2D: 3 successes 1 advantage. 3D: 3 successes. 4D: 3 successes. 5D: 3 successes 1 threat. (Wow, no failures rolled!)
Scoryn's not the stun weapon type, but she has other ideas for nonlethal takedowns...okay, it might be a little lethal. She flies up to the three Duros and, right before ramming them, pulls a 180 degree turn, blasting the Duros in the face with the full force of the speeder's thrusters without getting close enough to do any damage to the civilians.
Mechanics: Piloting Check 2P2A vs 4D. Net result 1 triumph, 2 advantages. I'm not sure what kind of damage thrusters do, but the force necessary to lift and propel a large hunk of metal at high speeds is probably enough to make them regret becoming slavers. It's possibly enough to make them regret being born...well, hatched, actually. Also, since Scoryn turned 180 degrees, Vallens is still a target, but anyone else on the speeder has cover against the Trandoshans and the Rodians (if they have the will to fight).

2 PC Steve lands on the Sergeant putting into the ground with the crack of many bones. He then screams to the other Slaver to drop their weapons or die where they stand. Scourne spins and blasts the Duros into flamming masses. A few slaves get a little singed and may blister a little but they will live and be free. 2 GM The ship closes it's ramps as it raises into the sky. You here a comm on the general channel as it begins to move away. "Tell Gorak if he wants us he should come himself not send his lackies." Looking north you see 2 TIE fighters are swooping after his ship. Behind them is the Aegis. The other Slavers seeing their ship flying begin to lower their weapons but see the Speeder turning the corner with a riot of CCP behind it turn scared and run west. 1 PC 1 GM 2 PC 2 GM 3 PC

Thanis sees the crowd of slaves and the mass of crazed cannibals and sees no other choice in his mind. He spins the e-web and fills the road with blaster bolts. The e-web mows down dozens of patients. The rest scatter in fear but his fire continues clearing the kill zone of all life. The dozen of CCP ahead of the speeder run into the fire of Unda, Vallens, and Tann. In the end the street is lined with bodies dressed in blue patient jumpsuits.
Stev keeps watching the Slaver's Ship disappear in the sky as he orders Scourne's speeder to capture the running slavers and Bifzit to return to the bomb and disarm it.
Stev will remember the name of the Slaver Ship Kras Ka Noota (Rodian for Give Me Money).

Stev sighs in frustration and begins to free the liberated slaves. "Team, after you finish your respective missions, search the hospital for any medical supplies or equipment that are still in working order. Leave the interrogation of the slavers to me. I will ensure that they talk."

Bifzit and his crew disarm both bombs with ease. He will require parts and a real shop to fix the speeder but it at least moves. Biv, Tann, and Unda stay with the caught Slavers and the freed civilians as Thanis and Scourne find and load medical supplies with the help of a few of the more able bodied former slaves. It will be a long walk to the park shelters from here.
The slavers are 4 Rodians, 4 Trandoshans, and a very broken Sergeant who is strapped to a repulsorlift medical stretcher by a few of the civilians that were medical staff.

Stev looks at the prisoners. "I would much prefer to speak to each one of you in private. After all, it would be a shame if you altered your behavior due to some peer pressure, wouldn't it?"
He orders one of the older looking Trandoshans to follow him into an empty alleyway far enough away that the civilians will hopefully not be able to hear the forthcoming screams of agony, if it comes to that.
Stev checks for any surveillance equipment in the area. He doesn't want anybody to see what may come next.
Mechanics: Perception Check 2P vs ??. The results of his side of the roll are 1 triumph 2 successes, to be mitigated by whatever the skullduggery of hidden equipment or stealth of anybody following him is.
As his eyes and ears focus on the surrounding area, Stev decides to start by playing nice. He removes his helmet to put the Trandoshan at ease, and introduces himself.
"Hello there, I am Sergeant Stev with the New Repbulic Ship FarStar. I don't suppose you'd care to introduce yourself, as well as the names of your fellow crewmates stationed here so I don't need to waste their time? Of course, you don't have to, but I'd like to call you a name, since 'Slaver' is such a harsh and messy title to refer to someone. Please, if we can all stay pleasant, I'm sure that this can all be resolved without any trouble. I can even see about getting you reassigned to community service as part of the planet's militia instead of prison. I'm sure they'd much prefer having more soldiers over having more prisoners." He smiles in an attempt to keep the Trandoshan calm.
Mechanics: Charm Check 2A vs ??. Results on his side are 1 success 1 advantage, to be mitigated by Cool.
