Izzy fires on the assassin as it enters the building as Rhal rushes forward to the center of the courtyard with him. They both easily rush past the sprinting dwarf. They begin to see and smell smoke coming from the lower level of the main hall. Looking they see through the large broken double doorway a creature that begins to fill the space between two large lines of marble pillars The fire inside the building reflects of the red scales that cover the creature. It moves forward it's head sliding and moving almost snakelike scanning the area within. The eyes of the beast are glowing yellow and the size of a grown man. His head is larger than a warhorse and watches Malik charge forward on Conn. Lower level inside Malik is focused on the orcs and the second level as he leaps from horseback and pulls himself up the carvings that adorn the building. Conn notices the creature moving forward in the first floor and begins to turn and back away from the building. Delrin's focus is also above the doors as he nearly runs up the side of the wall. The two arrive at the edge in time to see Khalad swing wildly in all directions. He doesn't even come close to hitting the 4 orcs around him and swings a nothing a few times. The griffons land on the roof above and screech threats at orcs they can not reach. Upper Level Inside Fargrim (sees a large shadowy form on the first level), Oloric (smells smoke and incense and see a red dragon of medium age about 60' from head to tail.) and Tleyar (smells smoke and sees a shadowy form on the first level) Initiative Izzy 23, Rhal 20, Malik init: 18, Delrin 17, Khalad and Griffons 16, Fargrim 14, Oloric init: 8, Tleyar 7, Eye of Grummish 5, Orc Assassin 4

Fargrim's still moving toward the first level, and a Dash action should take him to just before the doors to the Main Hall. Which should give him the chance to check out our new scaly friend, and since there's a heck of a lot of illusioning going on around here lately, he gives that dragon a pretty skeptical once-over. [Perception check total: 18]

Below Fargrim stares at the dragon and notices he can it is slightly transparent. As he stares further he sees inside the beast a small gnome illusionists. It is standing in the center of the illusionary beast. Within the creatures loud roar that shakes the room he hears a tiny voice,"I'm a dragon RRROOOOAAAAARRRR!"
Above Malik and Delrin note that the orcs look as surprised as them. The eye of Grummish yells to an Orc Assassin,"Make sure that damned gnome destroys everything."
Below The dragon roars and releases a burst of flame that envelopes Conn, Oloric, and Fargrim. Fargrim feels nothing and sees the flames and a hazy transparent fire. Conn believes and is screaming in pain (28 points of temporary damage, must make perception roll of 18 to see through illusion).
Oloric make a perception check of 18 to see through the illusion or take 28 points of temporary damage. May attempt each round to disbelieve. If Fargrim explains it is not real will have advantage on roll.
Tleyar is next and can make a perception roll (need 18) to see through the illusion. I would think see has advantage since she knows about Gnome trickery and that there was no dragon here just 45 minutes ago. The roll is not considered an action.

"What? A dragon?" Tleyar exclaimed in surprise. "How did it get in here?" The elf recalled being a dragon for The Lady, though not a red one, and the thought of fighting one now was unnerving. ((Failed the perception check even with advantage...)) Unsure of what to do, Tleyar decided to go with the routine, which for the past few days had been to heal Rhal whenever the orcs hurt the monk. ((Moving to Rhal and casting Cure Wounds: healed 6[1d8] + 4[WIS])) "Did you see that?!" the druid exclaimed, pointing towards the dragon.

The Eye of Grummush brings his flail-like staff down on Khalad's head. The dwarf falls forward a trail of blood dripping from the staff down to him. "Make sure the gnome burns everything." The assassin with blood staining the back of his leather armor shuffles to the stairway. Looking Malik and Delrin see smoke beginning to come up the spiral stair on the other side of the temple.
Khalad is down. Rhal needs to roll a perception check (DC18)for the dragon. If Oloric and Tleyar fail the test this round they need to roll a wisdom or charisma save (your choice) to not retreat in fear.
Next round
Delrin and Malik could make stealth checks if they want to do it sneaky like.
Initiative Izzy 23, Rhal 20, Malik init: 18, Delrin 17, Khalad and Griffons 16, Fargrim 14, Oloric init: 8, Tleyar 7, Eye of Grummish 5, Orc Assassin 4

Izzy runs up to the doorway as Fargrim shouts "It's not a bloody dragon, ye twits! It's one o' those bastard gnomes again!" He peeks around the edge of the door and sees the "dragon", shakes his head a bit and looks again to see the gnome within the phantom shape [Perception w/ advantage check totals: 10/24] He mutters "Oh, you clever little prick..." and whips off an arrow at the little jerk. [Attack roll total: 17, damage total: 3] Then he pops back behind the edge of the doorway with a Bonus Cunning Action to Hide. [Hide check total: 14]

The dragon roars a loud,"OOUUCHHH!" and melts out of existence leaving a gnome holding the slice on his upper arm from the grazing arrowhead. "My mum and pa have been happily married for 90 years you lousy son of an drunken orc and a wolf."

“I did see-” Rhal was cut off as the dragon suddenly vanished, admitting to Tleyar, “Well, now I’m not sure. Thanks for the heal, friend.”
((Current HP is full at 31.))
Rhal dashes forward (80 feet) into the building, spotting the gnome that Izzy pointed out, advancing on him with intent to stop him.
(I wish I remembered Dash on my last turn. >_<)

Malik grins as he charges into melee, "Your God needs you on the other side and I'm here to help!" He charges the distance to the assassins and lays into them.
Maliks axe glows as it slices into his first victim, a second swipe removing the first Orc from the fray. Malik steps to the next Orc and slices deeply opening his pitiful leather armour exposing a bloody chest beneath. The beast dodges his final swipe looking non too happy.
Attack: 26 and smite 1st lvl for damage: 19. Extraordinary attack: 23 damage: 12 Bonus action attack from feat: 18 damage: 18 Extra attack action: attack 14 miss
Init remaining: Delrin 17, Khalad and Griffons 16, Fargrim 14, Oloric init: 8, Gnome 8, Tleyar 7, Eye of Grummish 5, Orc Assassin 4

Delrin follows Malik into the fray, firing as he moves forward to safeguard the unconscious Khalad. His first shot finishes off Malik's wounded foe, his second downs the wounded and retreating assassin nearing the stairwell, and the third unfortunately whizzes by the Eye's face, embedding itself into the bookcase behind it.
However, Delrin takes advantage of that momentary distraction to grab half of his remaining quiver and pump the arrows straight into the Eye. As a matter of principle, Delrin never likes giving enemy spellcasters a chance to speak.
Attack: 23, so extra success and 7 damage. 2nd attack: 24 for 11 damage. 3rd attack: 12. Action Surge Attacks: 27, so double extra success and 7 damage. 2nd attack: 20 for 8 damage. 3rd attack: 21 for 12 damage. 4th Attack: 28 for 9 damage. Let's hope Khalad did at least 9 damage to this thing.

The Eye of Grummish stood tall though his chest ached from broken ribs when the dwarf crashed down on him. His head rang from the dwarf's blows before he blinded the paladin. He tried to clear his mind to bring the healing of his god. Grummish only heals those who have shown valor and brought an enemy low. He began to offer Khalad's life and blood as payment for his rejuvenation.
Suddenly, A clang of iron footsteps is followed by a roar of challenge. A human reeking of the blessings of Magnus sinks his axe into an assassin dropping the orc with 2 quick blows. He misses in his final attack.
His axe is followed by a flight of arrows. The assassins fall by the Eye is too fast dodging the arrow meant for his head. He begins to grin thinking of the pain he will bring to these foes. "Grummish will smile upon this battle..." Then the next flight of arrows arrive. His last thought is,"Stinkin elf." as a second flight of arrows... (Delrin how would like to do this?)
