How dead are the other adventurers? Like, DEAD dead, or just mostly dead? Fargrim's checking them all for hints of not-completely-deadness.

OOC: Except for the Bard they are "Go through his clothes and look for loose change." dead.
The Bard sits up with a scream,"Don't step on my head again! Please just take the ring and kill..." He looks at the burnt dead Troll pieces."Never mind! Geeze I thought he smelled bad on the outside."

Oloric steps up, "We are the Golden Lions and I am Oloric. What is your name and what happened?. Looking at the otherz, should one of us check that the lava isn't going to kill is all?"

The bard lifts his smashed lute with a frown. "The name is Flynn and these were the Shadowsbane. We were at Bordin's Watch when an orc troop attacked us in our sleep." His eyes tear up for a moment. "They slaughtered the ladies sharing my bed and we awoke here. My paladin friend resisted and the troll took a few of my taunts too serious. In the end somehow they died and the bard survived."

Going back down the corridor you see the lava is passing down the hall filling the passage. At is flowing past you and not into your chamber. Looking down the hallway on the other side you find the same. Across the hall on the otherside Izzy sees barracks. A group of orcs are looking into the hall with disbelief. The do not see the rouge.

Tleyar was very curious about the bard's incredible healing ability - it was not something the druid expected to see outside of the Feywilds. Instead what came out was a rumbling growl. Still a lion, though now a lion that wishes for something to wash the troll taste out.

OOC: So, I don't suppose we can claim the XP for the orcs in that barracks? I can dream, right?
Considering that they were now an island surrounded by scorching lava (or is it considered magma right now?) Delrin figured that they had to hope for a secret passage to get them out. The most likely candidates were either some riddle connected to the carved runes, the altar, and the statues, or behind the tapestry. He doesn't have much patience for riddles, so instead he sidles up to the wall next to the tapestry and gently moves it in an attempt to see if there's any open space or out of place looking stonework behind it. He'll first make sure it's not rigged to explode or shoot out spikes or some other such nasty thing, of course.
Perception: 15. Let's really hope they didn't trap this tapestry, because I really don't think that'll cut it.

OOC If you get past the hallway of lava (20' wide and 3' of lava deep) and kill them you may claim them.
Lifting the tapestry back he sees an arched doorway about 5' at it's peak. It has a stone door with no handle or keyhole, it just has an imprint of a wide hand with thick stubby fingers.
Delrin remembers from his reading in the Monastery about the Stonehome Mines/Nexus a phrase, "The Shrine leads to the eyes of Moradin. From there the priests see all." Delrin also knows from his earlier research that all paths in the mine are said to lead to the Nexus.
The lion does see a decorated basin between two large statues at the front of the shrine. It is filled with some pure looking water. Tleyar has been around religions to realize this is probably blessed water.
The Bard looks a little worried about the Lion looking at him. He pats his pockets until he pulls out a flute."Well I will miss my lute, but beggers can not be choosers." He begins to play a little tune and Tleyar feels a calm happiness begins to creep into her mind with the music. She can easily shake off the music's effect.

Malik stands off looking at the area where the orcs in the barracks were standing. He holds two handaxes on his large hands and speaks, "Two axes for two Orcs seems fair Magnus, no?"

Oloric looks at the bard, "Looks like you'll need to hang with us a while, You good in a fight?"

Delrin looks over to Fargrim and inquires "I don't suppose your hand might fit in this impression, could it? This could be our way out if we can manage to open it. Since these fellows seem to have cleared away the bodies of whomever ran this chapel, I think you're our only shot."

Flynn looks to Oloric,"I've been to inspire others to greater heights of valor with my song. I have always been more lover than fighter." He moves to the bodies of his friends and gives each one a hug and goodbye. "I will miss you all. We'll except you my paladin friend. No one misses a paladin." He then moves over to Delrin." It does look dwarf sized. "One of the orcs was looking behind the tapestry. He was thrown clear across by a burst of radiance from the wall. When the Troll and his friends went to see what happened my paladin friend decided it was time to make a break for it. Didn't work out well for use. Well didn't work out well for them."

Oloric asks for further details, "how did your team get here, who have you come across, etc? Did you use a gate? Have you garnered any useful intel? We are running blind having been caught by said lava and forced into our current pickle."

(OOC: There's another corridor directly across from us according to the map, isn't there? That's what it looks like.)
Izzy says "Let's not get too panicky here, folks. Lemme just do a quick scout up the road, 'kay?" and heads down the corridor. How far down does it go?
(Stealth check total: 15)
Fargrim checks out the handprint. Does it look dwarf-hand-sized, and does it ring any dwarvish cultural knowledge bells?
(Perception check total: 22)

Flynn looks to Oloric,"We were in Bordin's Watch when I was attacked in my bed. My friends and I awoke in a underground city with a large octagon of what looked like huge mirrored gates in the center. I'm not sure how we came to be here. We were surrounded by an orc army. The leader is an Ogre mage named Tusk, but he has a mate who is as beautiful as she is deadly. They have gathered most of the adventuring parties and are using them for something, I'm not sure what, but they using one group at a time. They keep the group separated like we were, awaiting our turn to do whatever they have us doing."
Izzy- You have looked (looked unless you are going to spiderclimb. If you do spiderclimb you will take d4 damage per round of slow roasting from the magma's heat.) down the corridors on both sides and they have lava on both sides. The west side you came from the corridor extends on but you can not see into door further down from the shrine. The east side is the other corridor that also has lava (it is probably one of the other 2 corridors you saw when the passage forked coming out of the lava filled forge. The east side has the barracks across the corridor with the confused looking drudges.
Fargrim knows that Shrines to Moradin will protect special areas with doors that only open to dwarven touch. Anything else to touch the passage would receive a divine smite. This probably leads to a vault, holy place, or observation area for the priests.
