Alexandria's griffon lands at the nest. They creature moves to the dwarf laying in the nest and stand next to him. It curves it head around looking at Alex and screeches. The dog sized young griffons see the carrot and begin jumping around the legs of the griffon. Alex can see they are also thin with bones showing.
The Griffon holding Fragrim spins holding Fargrim in his claws upside down. The two are slowed by the spell and glide and skid onto the ground. (8 damage to Fargrim, 16 damage to the griffon).
DelRin's Griffon is hit again. The beast is burned and bleeding and it flips a circle trying to throw the half elf from his back. Griffon Athletics roll 23 must beat it to stay on his back.

  Alexandria can see from the tip of the hammer and it's nest the monastery courtyard below. It is a mass of orcs and wolves. Most of the Orcs are the common lion cloth and stone weapon variety but other wear the shadowfell armor and carry scimitar, hammer, and bows. The archers are watching the tip of the hammer as much as the road to the monastery. She can also see the wolf and orc group that left the gatehouse moving toward the party. |

As Delrin realizes that the griffon is going for a full loop, he gives up on trying to keep his footing on the beast and instead grabs onto the remainder of the rope as tightly as possible with his arms and legs. All he could do was hold on and hope that the grappling hook stayed securely attached. In a most likely futile attempt to divert attention away from killing him, he briefly points out one of his legs and yells at the griffon "If you want to eat, eat the big orcs and wolves down there, not me!" before returning the leg to his vise grip on the rope.

OOC: Was Oloric able to hit Delrin with the feather fall? If not he can use another if it appears he's going to bite it..Hoping he doesn't have to use another but let me know. I'll await Alex and your response before Olorics next "action".

Oloric cast feather fall. The other griffon grabbed him. Malik dtopped his movement and the griffon pulled Fargrim down with him. I adjusted the damage for feather fall slowing them. If you cast festher fall on the griffon also it could stop the damage.
Delrin grabs the rope and is dragged behind the griffon.

Oloric didn't think to cast on the griffon not knowing it would fall. Looks like Delrin at least grabbed the rope. Oloric is just trying to avoid full splat on anyone. Oloric will move to the wagon. He wants to turn the horses so the wagon can be used as cover for incoming wolves and also protect the horses.

The griffon and Fargrim hit the ground and Fragrim kicks and rolls away from the beast as Izzy sinks two arrows into the griffon. It is bleeding heavily and it's left wing looks broken.
Delrin is still whipping around on rope behind the other.
Alex is in the nest beside the dwarf who looks dead or nearly dead.

Alex idly spilled out the food bag. Three days of people rations. She then moved over to the dwarf, watching him very closely for signs of breathing, even shallow breaths.

Malik will charge Fargrims griffon and attempt to knock the beast out without killing. "Are you able to fight Fargrim?" He asks.

A swift blow with his weapon shifted to a mace puts the griffon out. Malik is riding Conn about 15 feet from where Fargrim landed.
Oloric begins to lead the wagon into place.
Alex drops the food and the young griffons fight for every bite. The larger griffon just stands beside the dwarf. Alex finds he is breathing with a weak pulse. His face is beaten but his armor is the lighter platemail of the griffon riders. His rank is a commander and he wears the hammer and anvil of Moradin. She knows the commander of the griffons is a paladin of Moradin named Khalad. He was always too stiff and locked into church tradition fir her liking. At meetings she always kept her distance from him. This battered dwarf could be Khalad.
