Inside the building.
What Stev saw in his minds eye did not account for Gorak's despiration. He see a glint in the Rodian's eye as the vest on Jittonne burst forward enveloping Stev in splat adhesive. The younger scout is blown against the wall by the force. (Gorak held an incidental action to drop the switch, dropping an object is a free action.)
Gammer uses the distraction to rise from playing possum and tackle Gorak pulling him past the Princess and slamming him into the wall. He follows with a punch to the side of Gorak head. (Mechanics: new roll Brawl (grapple) higher difficulty to multistrike 3 success and 3 advantages. 2 total damage for 11 total strain on Gorak)
Gorak is under Gammer against the wall near the rather trapped doorway that leads to the stairs. (Gorak's move) Gammer is on his knees leaning into Gorak who is on his backside with his back against the wall.

Outside the Building.
As the Aegis moves into position as Blu arcs a burst of heavy laser fire well away from the security team to far away to effective, Boom is very effective tossing 2 grenades to splatter the doorway. The scout Biv was working to disarm the traps as the grenades strike the doorway the trap goes off Biv is stunned, splatted, splatted, then splatted again.
Vallen disarms the traps on the west doorway and slides within.
Thanis pulls on the adhesive sticking his leg to the street. He begins removing his boot, armor, and cutting his pants to pull free.
Tann slips past the door and follows Vallen within communicating to the group,"West door breached."
Cpl Teyjo sees the bolts fire from the Aegis. "They are not paying me enough." He stays behind the trashbin and considers shooting himself with the stunner which seems better than getting splatted or shot.
Scoryn, Fang and Samarian rush down the north side of the building to the open west doorway. They just make it in to the doorway.
Baraduk makes it to the southern end of building 6.

Gorak spits, hoping to get gammer in the face. With a strangled grasp knowing he is going to pass out soon "You lose, never get out now, in time, Heh heh heh."
Action going to activate stun grenade and roll it behind Gammer, aiming (move), or moving to free the hand. 3Y1G1B vs 2P (upgraded because of being engaged) = 4 Success, 3 advantage, activating blast... tho i think that gets me also and knocks me out really good. Nighty night

Gorak goes out along with Gammer. Jittoone looks up the hole for a moment then moves to Gorak and takes the keys to her binders, Gammers blaster carbine, and his comm. She moves back to the hole and begins to look up it while scanning the doorways.

Next Round
Blu settles the Aegis above the rooftop exit as Thane begins to lower one of the shuttles auto rappel lines and harness. Boom lobs a grenade in front of the wast doorway just because he can.
As Thanis runs to the west doorway to follow his unit a splat grenade falls at his feet pinning him to the ground again. He growls in frustrations as Baraduk snickers,"Your going to naked before you get in that building. She runs and jumps over the adhesive landing flat against the west passage into the building.
Tann, Vallens, Scoryn, Fang, and Samarian run the three flights of stairs. They find the stairwell leading to the third floor and the princess has been covered in adhesive. They rush up to the fourth floor and Tann begins to disarm the door trap.
With the Aegis busy Teyjo makes a run from the south to the west side of the building. He sees Baraduk jump and follows her jump with his own landing on the small open area not covered in goo that is already occupied by Baraduk pinning her against the doorway she was trying to open.
"Get off!" She pushes back and Teyjo falls. Reaching to maintain his balance he pulls Baraduk backwards with him and both land in the goo at Thanis' feet.
"So what are you going to do after the Captain fires us?" Teyjo asks.
Jittonne slips into the harness. She looks at the young scout struggling to free himself from the goo,"Thanks for the rescue. My mother always said it's the thought that counts." The harness begins to pull her through the ceiling. "Of course, My father always said frak the thought I want results."
Jittonne is helped into the shuttle by Thane and Boom.
Scoryn's unit enters the fourth floor and watches from the skylight as the shuttle arcs away.
Thane announces over the Comm to all units,"Field exercise is concluded. Regroup, pack everything up, and be in the Officer's lounge for debriefing in 3 hours."

A table is set in the Officer's Lounge that is facing chairs that have been pulled into rows. Com Kaiya Admetrum, Ambassador Thane B'Dorbeck, Sgt Delta Blu, Ensign Jitonne Gintor, and LTC Gorak Khazam are seated at the table facing the group. A Holographic projector is between the table and the crew settling into the chairs.
The group has settled into a number of clicks since the exercise. Some are missing clumps of hair. Others are bandaged or nursing tender injuries. Sgt Scoryn, Sgt Randall Vallens, Sgt Vimor Tola,Sgt Analia, Pvt Baraduk, and Cpl Flinu Tann gather before the debriefing begins trading stories of previous tours of duty. Sgt Unda Lagor, Cpl Thanis Gul-Rah, and Pvt Slave quietly sttand in group watching the others. Cpl Lowggrr, Pvt Fang, Pvt Samarion, Boom, Pvt Gunthar, Pvt Qesya Vth'naar, and Chief Kl'aal seemed to have found a common ground with the simulation and speak of hunting, tracking, and homelands. SGT Stev, Pvt Kem Vyson, Cpl Sasha, Pvt Erik Merimen,Cpl Teyjo Foneda,Cpl Biv Hayer, and Murgh "Gammer" Firdaaz joke about Teyjo hanging from the building, Merimen being the first Ko, and mouse troopers.
The Captain enters and all come to attention (even Gunthar tries to imitate the others). "At Ease, please sit. I have read the reports from each observer and commander of the field exercise. What I see in the reports is key qualities of self reliance, flexibility and innovation. We are going to be in situations were we are the only line of defense with no backup and no plan B. We are places where no one has gone before. I plan to do this boldly and I saw boldness in you approaches to the field exercise. We do have some rough edges and a few gaps in professionalism, but identifying problems is the first step in solving them. I believe this was good first step."
The Captain passes the floor to Kaiya, who details good and bad approaches to the guarding of the subject. The Ambassador follows with a discussion of the New Republic Code of Military Justice and ways to treat civilians and enemy combatants with dignity and respect. Blu calls attention to wake you up after Thane is done and he and Jitonne give their observations of the exercise. Gorak has the last word explaining strength and weakness of the attempt to retrieve the hostage. (Gorak may fill in here if he likes).
At final dismissal, Gammer declares stew, drink, and a Sabaac game will take place in his "Den" on deck 4 in 20 minutes.

You all have copies of my report, the basics are, the Field ops team main objective was completed, but there was too many casualties to count it as a victory. Especially with the number of security team members still active. You traded one hostage, for many hostages. Security failed also by not securing the objective. The decoy didn't work, only because i think my "negotiation" communication was traced and I was their objective. not the hostage, if I was guarding the decoy the mission would have surly failed. Also the lack of guards on the hostage was a severe oversight on my part. Secondly, the security forces should have been more concentrated, and working in small squads instead of a few independent observers that were easily distracted and taken out.
I find it quite ironic that the ambassador wants to treat "Civilians and enemy combatants with dignity and respect" yet make an almost superficial attempt to negotiate for the release of the hostage. A least at attempt can be made to scout out the area and location of the hostage under the guise of "Checking the condition of the hostage". What is the point of taking a hostage unless there is some means of gaining from it?
THe worst part of your plan? those stupid mouse droids. They were a waste of resources and ineffective in their attempt at distraction.
My suggestion for further missions by the field ops team is to open legitimate negotiations, to allow for the insertion of an infiltration squad, then when they are in position, or things go wrong, jam their communications to prevent any coordination or counter attack.
(Gorak does not partake of the stew, drink, or sabaac game, and grabs some food in the mess hall before going to his quarters to sleep)
