Act 01: Security Op4 01-01-01-01 DS 0001- 12:00

Kahzam has to make a quick decision, Vallen cannot attack the Aegis and also detonate the bombs. But with the Quesya approaching fast she has to be the spear head to the attack... finally the prey has come to the traps, his heart starts racing, ahhh the Hunt, and licks his lips with pleasure. That still leaves possibly half of the Field ops team unaccounted for.

He brings the comlink to his snout: Lowgrr, we still- Grrr, i will take care of you later. Tola see if you can knock out the search light, or at least keep the aegis busy. Vallen, disengage prepare for detonations. Unda hostiles approaching from east, possible opportunity for ambush if they pass building 5, be ready. Kym you have done well, engage droids with lethal force. Let the show begin

Kahzam regrets holding Lowgrr back, hindshight says he should have been in the north.  But the Defal has to come to him if he isn't a decoy. Worthy prey indeed

Vallen lowers the rifle to the street between buildings 9 and 4. Seeing a shadow running he triggers the number 9 building closest to his building. The detonation blows straight up but the sound and wave of force pushes Khal'al against building 4 where he sticks to the splat grenade adhesive that has been spread on the wall.

Tola fires on the Aegis causing it to turn it's searchlight off and pull back.

Pvt Kem opens fire on the droid and strikes it center mass. The center mass falls off the bottom of the droid. As it strikes the ground 2 splat grenades roll off the top and detonate filling the area with adhesive and catching the mouse droid that was the base like fly in a web. Lucky it is 100m away from the town. The three other continue to roll forward covering 20 meters and are now 80m away. (mechanics: 2 success but no advantages to spread the shot.)

Sgt Tola sees the "Centaur" closes another 50m to only 100m away. She is arching south toward the explosion now.

3 droids each with 2 grenades attached to their heads are 80m from Tola's position the grenades can not reach their positions on the roof, but could splat the ground patrols.

Cpl Teyjo reports he has still sighted anyone to the south but tries an extreme ranged shot to get Quesya's attention. Leaning out over the side of the building to get a proper angle he fires on stun striking Quesya with an amazing shot. The Sludir doesn't seemed phased from the shot and continues racing forward. As Teyjo leans back in he catches his weapon strap on a gutter attachment, looses his balance and falls off the building edge. The strap catches and he is hanging from the building.
(Mechanics: 5 success and 5 threats)

Unda and his forces move to beside Tola's building (#5). This still puts a number of traps and a covered pit between them and the hostiles from the north. Seeing Quesya arching south they open fire to get her attention. Their fire falls low but they do gain targeting information. (Mechanics: 0 success and a future boost).

Cpl Lowgrrr, Fang, and Samarian race up to the stuck defel. Samarian growls sorry, lowers his blaster, and fires on the helpless Khal'al. (Mechanics: 1 down!)

Baraduk detected a signal sent to the droid that detonated the grenades. She could replicate the signal to the other droids.

The exploded building is burning lighting up the area Lowgrrr's unit is in.

You receive no response from Meriman. Thinking back it has a few minutes since he has reported in.

Scourne comm the Aegis with her ultimatum,"I have the princess and we have begun aggressive interrogation of the subject. If you do not fall back we will need to enhance our interrogation." In the background Baraduk is screaming in what sounds like true pain (knowing Scourne it is). "back off or the next building to go up will have the princess in it."

Vallen flicks to stun and seeing Qesya (I have character spelling issues) absorb a shot from Toyja without shrugging switches to attacking her rider. He strikes the Female trooper Sasha right as she rolls off the back of Qesya behind the tree by the 1st north garage (#4). She rolls to a standing position and raises her twin blasters to fire right as she trips a splat grenade and it explodes over her. (Sasha took strain then was splatted by a trap.)

Kaiya slips off Qesya's back and tries to land in a firing position and fires on Vallen. Her shot is wild, her position not fully set and she spins onto the ground. (4Failure with 5 threats she is prone and has 4 strain)

Tola readies to continue to distract the Aegis with fire when suddenly the Aegis fires back. Two stun bolts strike Tola and down the guard. (2 hits for a 16 total strain. Tola is out). The 3 mouse troopers are 60m from Tola's post.

Pvt Kem sees Tola go down and sights the doorway of the Aegis the fire came from. He strikes the hull of the Aegis but fails to hit the shooter. The three other continue to roll forward covering 20 meters and are now 60m away. (mechanics: 2 failures and a boost to his next shot.)

Qesya is charging toward Lowggrr, Fang, and Samarian. She has pulled 2 stun sticks from her back. The 3 rush to meet her each making an attack.

Cpl Teyjo scrambles to get a hold of the side of the building spending his time dragging himself back to the roof.

Unda and his forces move to beside Tola's building (#5). Seeing Qesya running out of their firing position they double time south toward Merimen's position on the south west corner. Unda knows Lowgrr would never leave a possible fight even with orders.

Cpl Lowgrrr, Fang, and Samarian rush forward and flank Qesya. Samarian keeps out of her reach and fires his blaster it strikes Qesya and she shrugs it off again. Lowgrrr drops the stun stick with a bellow smashes her with his fists. (2 hits 8 total strain damage) Fang leaps onto her back and slams her with the stun stick (4 additional stain for a total of 12)

Baraduk sends the signal splatting the grenades of the 3 droids closing on Kem. All 3 are stuck fast. Scoryn and Biv move to a firing position within building 6 and set to fire on Kaiya.

Teyjo looks out at the burning chaos and battle and whistles to himself.

On the ceiling above you between Gorak and the "Princess" a thin line of bubbling is starting to spread into a 3m circle.

Hearing Code Zed the Security team responds (or don't depending on discipline)

Vallen shoulders his weapon and jogs to the corner of building 6 closest to building 8. He tosses a preset line over the wall and quickly repels down.

Kaiya stays down and fires on Fang she is laying in the middle of the street an easy target.(5 strain to Fang, Kayia has 4 strain)

The 3 mouse troopers are 40m from Tola's post.

From the Doorway of the Aegis a bolts arc again. They strike Pvt Kem twice (16 total strain) as he attempts to move to jump down and move to Gorak he falls.

Qesya strikes Lowggrr with both stun batons. The power arcs through him and the huge Wookie drops (10 total strain).

Cpl Teyjo groans, "I just made it back on the building." He runs to the access door and down the stairs.

Unda and his forces doubletime the length of building six and meet Vallen has touches down.

Fang and Samarian are still engaged with Qesya. Seeing the wookie fall Samarian moves back even more out of her reach and fires his blaster the stun shot hits Qesya in the snout causing her to be shaken (crit: head ringer). Fang ignores Kayia's shot and continues to press his stun stick into her back. She finally slumps forward and is still.

Baraduk sends the signal splatting the grenades of the 3 final 3 droids.

Scoryn and Biv move to a firing position within building 6 and set to fire on Kaiya decide to remove Kaiya before they move to Gorak. The strike her twice putting out the field commander. They then move out the front of the building and to Fang and Samarian.

Except for the Aegis all hostiles have been eliminated.

Gorak watched the circle knowing it would take some time to burn through. Then a large thump is followed by a large crash as the ceiling breaks downward.

A scout (you think Gammer) lands on top of it firing at you as he rolls backwards toward the "princess" position.

A second younger scout drops in behind him sliding to a spot behind a now destroyed table and firing at you. His shot rattles your systems and almost causes you to pass out. (9 strain)

Almost isn't good enough as you target the rolling easier target and fire. The older scout Gammer slumps to the ground.

Gorak raises the dead man switch in his hand and pronounces "Kozak neets-ka, or the Hostage and everyone else DIES!"

Goark grabs the princess from behind using his blaster arm. Then stares at stev " This is not the only deadman switch. You move she dies, you die, everyone dies. You lose!"
