On the Muvon, Brophar flips through the holonet channels in the lounge vid and finally settles on the Cultural centers event."Well look at that Qesya is putting on a show. Wow, Who is that looker Thane is flirting with? Maybe I need to be a diplomat."
"That woman is just a trophy. Now Qesya is a real asset. Her power is most impressive. I wonder if she would join my tribe. I could use a mate with power such as her." Amur muses.
"Okay, Let's put that down as too much information." Brophar states.
Stev looks up from weapon maintenance to see the screen. As they pan the crowd he notes that many servant droids are in the crowd. Servant droids are not known as great lovers of culture or the arts.
Vic is cross-legged in the corner meditating and feels the concern pass over Stev.
Qesya bows and then Stev sees Lodor rush onstage with dual bladed polearm ready.
The holocams switch to the VIP crowd and Stev sees the Ik'Tal noblewoman looking at Thane with love in her eyes. He remembers that look of love that once passed between his mother and father.

Before they make the call, Sivu turns off the vid, points everyone back to their positions on the video, and switches the cams back on. After all, if there's a call and droids are summoned, yet the cams still showed the same images, they'd be found for sure.
When the food arrives, Sivu visibly sulks as he turns the vid screen back on. Thanks to his being confined to the breath mask, he can't exactly join the diners, so he instead, under the guise of looking for an available HoloNet signal on his pad, starts looking to see if he can find whatever signal the Pit Droids outside are receiving their instructions from, if any.

Stev can't help but shake the feeling that those droids are out of place, and, knowing what his 'feelings' tend to actually be, that worries him. "Brophar, look at the servant droids. Do they all look normal to you? Any unusual attachments or devices? I may just be paranoid, but I'm getting a bad feeling in my gut about why the servant droids would be allowed to get in the way of organics like that. Wouldn't they normally be kept out of sight if not summoned?"
As he keeps talking, more and more warning signs keep piling up in his head. He already lost a Captain at the political event on Kolatill, and had almost the entire command crew arrested at another event here, so he had more than enough reason to be cautious. As he starts convincing himself more and more, he starts heading to the garage and he comments "Brophar, you'd better be able to name the make, model, and programming behavior that would lead to this action from every one of those droids on screen, otherwise I'm going to have to make a very bad decision."

Sivu detects a quick interaction of data on the roof. He IDs PD13's access codes and the other contact point has the same IDs. Analysing it he sees slicing battle with Slacker vs. 6 identical droids. Then it all goes silent.
Gammer, Sasha, and Vandal enjoy the lunch. Gammers wristband lights up as he touches the desert. "Hold," He states and waves his wrist over the amazing looking slices of cake. "Okay, What kind of sadists poisons the desert? I'm thinking a cover is blown, or they are poisoning evenone in the hotel.
Muvon
Brophar looks at the scene,"Unless these people are to lazy to have their servants out of sight it it very strange. Look at how they are moving. The droids are moving in set pattern groups. Only time you see that is with groups of battle droids that don't have independent processors."

For once, Sivu actually didn't want the PDs to go silent. Hearing Gammer's assessment, he immediately switches to a new video loop on and preps his 'special datapackage' for upload. "Something has happened. I was accessing the PDs, but they suddenly ceased communicating, as if they all went offline simultaneously. We may need to inspect our PD to see what has happened."

Vandal didn't even bother to finish, she simply put her helmet right back on. "Bah, we'll deal with the staff later. I'm filing a complaint. With blaster bolts." She snapped, maintaining her low volume. "At any rate, it would appear I'm the only one fit for rapid mobilization. What's taking precedence here?" She asked, turning on targetting to make sure her repairs were fully done. Once her assessment was done, she looked back to Sivu and the others.

OOC: Yes they do bank.
Plaza Hotel
You gather equipment and wait for battle droids to bust into the room that never arrive. Instead the door comm announces,"Delivery, I honor of the high king's return the Imperial Plaza Hotel is providing complementary dessert to all guests." The screen shows 2 servant droids with chef hats on standing with a large dessert cart filled with goodies.
Muvon
You see Qesya move from weapon to weapon. When she finishes the crowd roars. The dignitaries walk to the center stage to congratulate them.
"Well at least Thane still has his bodyguard." Brophar points to the bodyguard standing at the back of the stage."That is one droid I am happy to see."
T3 whistles as he moves across the lounge.
"Okay there are 2 droids I am happy to see."

Sivu finishes uploading the datapack of doom through a bundled video file into the cams and, hopefully, straight into their central mainframe. At the very least, security should be having a difficult time. He stands up from his chair and states "It would seem that Gammer's latter guess is more accurate. That either means that they know we are in the hotel, do not know the room, and are unconcerned by collateral damage, or this is simply a general terror attack on the entire building. Either way, whomever 'they' is seems to have taken control of all the droids in this building, and may also be in control of the PD assassins we detected. This level of slicing skill is...staggering, to say the least."
Taking a cue from Vandal, he grabs his blaster pistol from its concealed compartment. "If the droids are all under this mysterious influence, then it is possible that even the turbolifts could be set against us. I would suggest taking twelve flights of stairs downward instead of thirty-three flights upwards, but that would admittedly mean abandoning our inactive PD unit on the roof."

Muvon
Stev enters the garage and runs to their salvaged suits of spacetrooper armor as he explains "They've got to be after Thane. We need him out of there, now, but if we rescue Thane as New Republic soldiers, they could ship away or kill the Captain and her team in retaliation. Luckily, I just so happen to be wearing the armor of a bounty hunter, so we'll just have to fake a kidnapping and ransom."
As he detaches the large jetpack from one suit, he continues "Brophar, the Muvon's not registered with the FarStar officially, so it's our best bet on getting to Thane in time. Make up an excuse to leave, then get us to the cultural center ASAP without making them want to open fire on us. I'll make the grab, fly back up, and then we retreat and regroup. They already admitted they don't have anything to stop us once we get into space, so we can plan our next move from there."
With a tinge of regret and worry in his voice, Stev adds "Vandal said the rest of the team's under surveillance, so we can't risk blowing their cover with a comm. They'll still have the Gthroc waiting for them, so at least they still have an exit plan. Without any safe way to communicate, that's the best we can do for them. I can only hope whatever's watching them hasn't taken them down yet..."
He shakes his head in an attempt to refocus on the things he can control, such as the jetpack. He removes his grapple line from his arm and begins connecting the pack's controls to his armor's interface. At least the double sized jetpack means he can grab Thane and the Ik'Tal woman without losing any lift or speed. Since his deception meant he'd have to steal Thane right from under SLAVE's watch, he'd need to finish this as quickly as possible and hope the droid would recognize the Muvon quickly enough and decide that anyone coming from it wasn't someone to kill. He wasn't counting on being that lucky.

"I'll deal with the PD. Recovery is ideal, but if he's cumbersome, destroying the memory core isn't off the table. I'll transmit the generic distress signal in the event that I'm killed or captured so you know to get moving. More importantly, what's our rendezvous?" Vandal kept her lightsaber unignited but in a reverse grip in her right hand, pistol in her left.

MEANWHILE, IN SPACE (SPACE! SPACE! SPACE! SPACE!)
Invictus stood up finally. "If you intend to do something potentially suicidal, allow me to go with you." He half-suggested, following him. "Your suicidally brave and noble executive officer is already placing herself at risk, purposefully going out in order to preserve your anonymity knowing that as a former Imperial she would be subjected the cruelties that would dwarf what any of you would suffer. If both of you die, there is nothing protecting the crew from the evil mastermind in your midst, plotting all manner of nefarious doings. Something, something, something, DARK SIDE. Something, something, something COMPLETE." The assassin said dryly, having kept his unignited. "Shall I monologue? Perhaps execute a subordinate for failing me for the last time? Perhaps maniacal laughter." He rolled his shoulder, cracked his neck and peered out from behind his hood, green eyes framed in dark circles and darker shadows, pale skin and cracked lips. His tone was stilted. "Ha. Ha ha. A. Ha ha. Ha. Ha. Whatever." Invictus twirled it around the pike haft as his smirk faded to an expression that was far too calm.

Imperial Plaza As the rest head to the first floor Vandal heads for the stairs up. The ten stories up are a little harder that she remembers but then she notes she is carrying 10 more kilos of arm than she use to. The door to the room slides open and she ducks back as the blaster bolt passes through the spot her head used to be. She saw enough before ducking to note two PDs have sniper rifles locked into special carriages on their heads. The PD shooting at her has a built in laser and a holocam band around the top of his head. Two things she has only ever seen on PD13.
Sivu, Gammer, and Sasha make it to ground floor. Sivu sees that shortly after they leave their room a half dozen Super Battle Droids burst in and begin ripping the room apart. Suddenly the droids stop searching and begin to act out some of the videos Sivu downloaded from Potshots selection. The droid "Wrestling" is a combination of humorous and grotesque.
Muvon
Vic looks to Stev as he prepares. Brophar begins to use his charm but finds the yawning starport flight controller seems too sleepy to care. He releases the locks and the Muvon lifts off. The teen is small enough to fit into Blu's armor. Blu crawls slowly into the lower turrent, but he is in no shape combat.
Amura joins the group,"The boy is ready to be bloodied and would be unable to be identified since he doesn't exist. Unlike the two of us he does not have an action figure."

Vandal popped out from behind cover, letting her holographic targetting do the rest (aim maneuver). She paused only to steady the heavy pistol. Everything slowed before she burst out of cover for the split second to shoot at PD13, admittedly something she'd wanted to do since 'he' blinded two crew and killed two others. Now, she felt no satisfaction in it. No justice.
There wasn't anything.
((2P,2A,2B,2D (1 Boost for Aim, 1 Boost for Stormtrooper Armor) 1 Triumph, 6 Successes, 1 Threat (Net) Calculated as 12 Damage, spending the Triumph to Crit. (29), 1 Strain to Vandal
Discouraging Wound. I'll just bank that.))
There wasn't much intention beyond her job, igniting the lightsaber in her right hand, saving the brutality for where it counted, the dull hum and crimson burning being a nice contrast to the blue armor highlights.

The PD unit is pushed back by the wound. He is 30m away and he returns fire on Vandal he voice box making an evil life. The voice is full of the smug tone of an imperial officer. "Your republic will burn. The Emperor is nothing compared to the true power I will unleash." PD13 fires again and ducks behind a H/V exhaust. The 2 PD Snipers fire at the same time and Vandal hears a roar of chaos erupt in the crowd below.
Sivu and the rest make it out of the stairwell door to find the porter and servant droids standing over the dead customer service reps. A few guests are rushing out the from doors as others are laying dead. The front of the Plaza hotel is glass and you can the chaos of the crowd in the central garden section. You also hear screams and violence from the casino.
Muvon
Muvon as Brophar rises on repulsor lifts you see the snipers fire from three rooftops around the Mushroom Gardens at the stage.
Blu barks from his turret,"Hard to port now!"
Brophar banks scrapping a nearby hanger as a blaster turret fires from the Slacker's Dream at the Muvon.
"What in the Nine Hells are those crazy droids doing?" Brophar yells.
"Boom?" Boom responds from the co-pilot seat.
The Jarrels are tossed sideways as they move to Stev. Each looks to him for guidance.

Vandal didn't waste her breath on boasting. "I don't care. Thirteen, you're coming with me. Willingly or in pieces. Hell is optional." Vandal said coldly into her anunciator unit. She snapped out again and allowed her holographic targetting to do its work. She started run her numbers again, calculating trajectories, locations and the like, compensating for everything from her stance to the snipers. It was too much to dash after him, but she moved up anyway in an attempt to situate in some cover (2 strain for extra maneuver), slipping back out and firing on PD13, this time, she wasn't holding back.
((2A,2P,2B,3D. 4 Successes, 2 Triumphs, 1 Threat. That's another Strain, 10 damage. 2 crits. First is 87: Winded. This is of course assuming so far that he only has one rank in Enduring. Last one is 84, Overpowered. *sigh, not this again* Assuming he has only one rank of Enduring... here's the second hit.
1 Triumph, 5 Successes 1 Advantage. Last one's Hamstrung at 73 No overpowers. I do not need to quit life. Vandal will recover one strain and end her turn.))

PD13s laughter dies as Vandal takes his domelike head from his body. The other PD Snipers ignore her and fire over the building edge again.
(I need to let the rest catch up before Vandal goes on. What is Vic doing on the Muvon?)

"Fame or infamy is nothing to aspire to. It isn't a true accomplishment. Success is measured in achievements, not opinions." He snorted, assessing whether or not the armor would allow him to use his lightpike. If it couldn't, he'd make it work, but for now, he needed to get himself ready. "And testing... locomotion and sensors... are... green. Tracking... five by five. Shall we get started?"
