Sivu is surprised by the remarkable lack of efficiency and competency shown by the security team, but he remains stoic as he passes unmolested with a blaster hidden away on his person. If this was the best Sarne's Empire had to offer, it was no wonder that he was running with his tail between his legs. Sivu will make a note to suggest to the Captain a renewed focus on improving interplanetary security procedures once this dreadful business with the imprisonment is done.
Sivu takes a moment to look at the vehicles ahead and determine the likely safety of utilizing each. If they were in as poor condition as this checkpoint, he may consider walking. As he adjusts his goggles to give him a clearer view of the machinery on display, he's rather glad that his mask protects him from what he's sure would be rather pungent smells emitting from some of the older models.

Vandal more or less followed behind Sivu without so much as a word, showing her pistol when it was asked for and keeping her lightsaber concealed in her belt. She kept her mouth shut and her eye open, nothing audible from here save for her spurs and the occasional whir of her artificial hand moving. She played up the cool professionalism Mandalorians were known for, and although she was not one of them, she had appearances to keep up, as General Severina, Right Hand of the True Mandalore.

Vandal notes that what few people are moving around the Starport look to her with curiosity. Some who bear the symbols of the church even make the sign of the prophet as she passes.
Sivu picks the cleanest Johny cab and you pile in.
"Welcome kind customers to my cab. Where would be your destination?"
You know that Thane stays at the Imperial Plaza Hotel. The seeder side of Montrol is the Docks. Shador has a compound where you would find the High King. Alta Dyson is at the Theater doing a nightly show with Allistar that is very popular. The Captain is at the Montrol Police headquarters with many of the crew.

As Sivu brushes the stray dirt from his cloak, he whispers quietly "Threat Assessment: The Hotel is likely a safe option, and it is a far more definite destination than an entire district or compound, but it would also be far more conspicuous. The Docks, on the other hand, are designed to minimize attention on any individual, but could present more direct dangers as well. The Shador King does not possess a hint of subtlety, and may inadvertently reveal our identities. Dyson is a fool surrounded by fools, and is likely useless in any situation that is not documented by a holocamera."

"Imperial Plaza Hotel." Vandal murmured through her anunciator without so much as a second thought. After slipping in behind Sivu, she nodded, breaking out her datapad. "Take a look at this beauty. Getting him once we settle up with Thax. Nine hundred forty bolts per minute with an effective range of one hundred and thirty metres. Coolant capillaries are meant to keep him under twenty centigrade even after sustained fire." She chuckled, showing the pad to Sivu. In truth, she punched in a message. 'We'll hit the hotel and grab a room to use for a place to gather our thoughts and our crew. We can organize and communicate once I've swept the place for bugs.'

Getting to the Plaza is a simple task. You enter and find you seem as out of place as a Wookie in a beauty contest. The receptionist looks to the group with disdain,"May I help you." You understand from the look in her eyes she is saying,"How can I get you to leave."

For once, Sivu's air of formality comes in handy as he calmly walks forward, his hands clasped behind him. In a much gentler tone than the cold, almost monotone that he usually speaks in, he asks "Excuse me miss, but do you have any lodgings available for my compatriots and I? This recent trouble at the starport has caused a significant delay in the processing and sale of my goods, and I have been left without any proper place to pass the night. As I'm sure you've assumed from my appearance, I cannot process the standard atmosphere most sentients have been adapted to, so if you have any rooms designated for atypical atmospheric conditions, it would be all the better."

She looks to the stiff alien of unknown origin and Sivu seems to be much more to her liking,"There is a environmental suite open that does have servant quarters. Will your servants carry your bags or do you require droids?"
Whichever your answer you are soon on the 12th of 45 floors in a corner room with a lovely balcony. Sivu's room is a posh affair while the servant quarters are small closets with a bunk. There is a complementary basket of fruits, bread, mushrooms, and cheese and bottles of the local wine. The room also comes with 100cr in chips for the Imperial casino on the first floor of the plaza.
Looking out from the balcony you can see the Plaza sits on one corner of a central park area known as the mushroom gardens. The Montrol Cultural Center is along the park as well as the Montrol Central Bank, and Dansk Theater. The Imperial Government Building and the Ancient Keep of the High King are nearby. Further out are the Shador compound, the jedi temple that is now home of the Church of the Prophet. The docks lay beyond and in the bay the statue of the Emperor rises over a crescent shaped compound that was once a separatist capital ship.

Vandal stared at the receptionist without so much as a word. She sincerely hoped that the harlot wasn't so stupid as to honestly believe that two people in Mandalorian style armor were mere servants. "Droids." She said in a calm, even tone with the underlying threat of bodily harm if she was insulted again. "We're the guard." After getting the gear loaded in the room, she stared at Sivu incredulously through her visor. She tilted her head and leaned in closely. "I'm going to check the room for bugs. Once we're clear, we can formulate. Use datapads to communicate anything essential in the meantime. In the meantime I need either you or Red to work on getting comms back to the Muvon to update them."

Scanning the large suite takes a good 20 minutes. The room has a number of camera and audio systems in every room. You could disable them as easily as cutting the power feeds.
Computer checks show that all data flow is being heavily monitored by computer software. It is a central part of the data system on the entire planet and can not be removed.
If you cut the power feeds a maintenance droid will show up at the door with an order to fix them.
Gammer's old fashioned radio system will provide communication to the Muvon.
Using datapads is a bad, bad, idea. All technology that communicates through the "Imperial Cloud" or iCloud is being monitored.

((OOC: Does this include the multiband?))
Vandal was silent for a moment after her realization. "I'll deal with it. This lack of privacy is aggravating." She grumbled, pointing to the cameras she had spotted. (Perception 2s 1a Gross.) She paused, opening up communications with the Muvon. "Everything's good. The matter of monitoring is a problem. I'll have a chat with the people at the front desk and see if he can't have a little privacy with his ladyfriend while I go to collect her." She said flatly. "Coming back to get some spare power cells and another fuel cell, leaving Red with the client in the meantime." She said through her anunciator. She knew about the monitoring, they knew that she knew, and she knew that they knew she knew. This was the Intelligence Game all over again. She refused to be beaten here, even if she had to bludgeon her way through it.

OOC: Since we have atmospheric controls, can Sivu start pumping some more opaque gases to obscure the cameras' views? Everyone'll have to throw on breath masks for safety, but at least then we can do things the old fashioned way with some flimsi and whatever writing implement could be available.

You could write on your pads and long as you don't send from one to another.
