Ranna smiles and collects another pot of credits from Lodor and the other pilots as troopers maintain weapons and gear.
Bif Zik is working his datapad and Lodor's pad is set to receive local incoming network streams.
He sees the arrest begin for the crew and the impounding of the ships.
Keeg cheers and Ranna curses as Alta knocks the General down.
"Okay, Pilots let's get to the fighters. We blast every last imperial to dust and break the captain out." Ranna is up pulling her jumpsuit back on and reaching for her helmet.
"Ranna we would not make it past the cities defenses. They could also just kill everyone we are trying to save." Keeg protests. "I know you want to save Noell but we can't just jump into the sarlaacc pit."
Lodor is stunned for a moment by the thought of Keeg being the cautious one.
"Your not in command of this mission," Theta states to Ranna."Captain put Lodor in charge." He and the rest turn to look at Lodor.

Lodor looks up slowly from his hand of cards as he realizes that everyone's suddenly expecting him to come up with a magic plan. "...Seriously? Me? Well, uh...Theta, you seem to know a lot about this place's defenses. Do they have anything that would detect an underwater approach? The Deltas are designed to be about as good under the sea as in space, so that could be a mesh'la way to sneak back into town. Then, we can regroup with Loh'Khar and the others the captain sent to look for leads on the-uh-other captain, work the underworld contacts we all know he has, and find a way to get them out of captivity. Does that work?" He adds the last question with an awkward grin, hoping that his suggestion isn't TOO stupid.

Do they have anything that would detect an underwater approach? The Deltas are designed to be about as good under the sea as in space, so that could be a mesh'la way to sneak back into town.
Theta thinks,"From what I have picked up from reports they have about 1 hundredth of the SOP for controlling a population of this size. Most of those are centered on the starport and the FarStar. Imperial forces are nonexistant anywhere but the capital of Montrol and very light within the city itself. So chances of detecting an underwater apporach would be slim to none. Most local forces are former separatist battle droids controlled by the CUTHBERT central systems management. It is stationed on an island off of the Capital city and is a repurposed Lucherhulk class Droid Control Ship."
Then, we can regroup with Loh'Khar and the others the captain sent to look for leads on the-uh-other captain, work the underworld contacts we all know he has, and find a way to get them out of captivity.
Theta looks at his clones,"I don't believe we have the face for undercover work. We would probably be quickly picked up by CUTHBERT security cam droids facial recognition. The pilots, BifZik or yourself may be able to pass scans and find Loh'Khar."

Lodor says "Well, sounds like this computer needs to be gone before we can pull off a rescue. Still, more bodies are more bodies, so we should probably regroup first before we attack those suckers. You troopers mind guarding the getaway ships, since going in is a no-no?"

"We will set up a perimeter and protect our base." Theta salutes.
Ranna begins to peal off her uniform and pull a neutral garb out of her pack. Fiona, Keeg, and Carne begins to do the same.
"Okay now we just need a to hoof it to a public transport and get back to Montrol." Keeg states pulling on a loudly decorated slamball jersey.

Lodor's normal gear isn't too far out of casual range (Nobody suspects the guy wearing armor without sleeves! Besides, they'll be too distracted by his weird hybridness to notice anyway.) and it's completely New Republic emblem free...almost.
Lodor carefully removes the patch Chief Krudar gave him and hands it to Theta. "Keep this safe, okay? I don't want to have to earn back those studs again."

The walk to a small restaurant that is a station for the public rail is just 20 minutes. You note that there is no imperial presence and buying the passage is just a few imperial credits (which you have) or Kathol Crowns (which Ranna has from playing cards with the Shadormen). What do you pay with?

Is there any attendant nearby whose uniform could give us any idea of this station's allegiance? If we don't have any way of knowing, the Imperial Credit's probably the way to go, but it's nice to check first.

It is a house Ik'Tal owned establishment. They are the common house on Gandel Ott and are normally pro new republic but Imperial Credits would be the most common credits offered by someone out of town.
The attendant is a middle aged man in common garb. He motions you to the data terminal to by passage on the shuttle. "If you want to sit at the booth we have good cafe and some fresh pie." Another middle aged woman works in the kitchen and a few Twilek youths move from table to table waiting or clearing for the next group.

Technically, Lodor knows that, being on a top secret mission and all, he should constantly be watchful for enemy agents, never ceasing his vigilance, always making sure to take the fewest number of risks possible. However, his stomach says that, between the flight to and from the op as well as the op itself, he'd burned enough calories to have quite the appetite, so he smiles and says "Sounds good to me!"
He'll at least TRY to be a little careful though, the typical 'sit with your back to the wall, front facing the entrance' 'have as many escape routes as possible' 'anybody could be an Imp spy' 'if you think your food could be poisoned, it is' stuff. He'll at least try to follow the general idea of that...ish. At the very least, he'll do a little tentacle sniffing of any food he gets before he eats it. He just hopes these Imp credits will buy food that's better than the Imp standard, or at least what he assumed was standard from his time in Sarne's little crawlspace of horrors.
Perception Check: 1P1A. Gross result 2 successes 1 advantage.

The food is good served Ik'Tal style with warm loafs of bread and many sauces for dipping. The pie is excellent.
The man, who you find is named Egnue, speaks to you kindly,"You folks heading to the capital to see the High King return? Most people through this week are. My pap would tell me stories of the Shador King. He sounds like a good man. Course my Pap would also tell me of the Ik'Tal High King Oergak he took the crown from. Oergak was good man but to old to stand challenge. This King has been away for a long whiles. I wonder if he is ready for a challenge. Used to be a pretty fighter myself mabe." He smacks his leg. "Took a blaster to the knee."
The Twi'Lek girl fills you drink and looks Lodor up an down shyly. He can't totally be sure if it is flirting or trying to figure out what in the world he is.

Based on past experiences, Lodor's best guess is both. Unfortunately, with the whole 'facing imminent doom' thing, he can't do much to reciprocate. Oh well, at least he got pie. Everybody likes pie.
He's a bit more worried about this whole challenge thing Egnue mentioned. He'll have to remember to check that out later to make sure the Imps weren't planning on getting somebody to ruin this perfectly good alliance they were setting up.

The shuttle arrives and it is a 45 minutes to Montrol. You skim the local holonet on the shuttle data terminals. The stories are of the disappearing NobleStar. The INN is stating it was moved to the outer rim to suppress pirate attacks. Katholnet is talking with scientists who find it suspicious that the Noblestar jump just seconds before the large solar flare.
The arrests of the New Republic crew are being discussed with similar perspectives. The INN referring to them as terrorists and hijackers. Katholnet is pressing to find what charges are being placed. Under Kathol law the police can hold them for 4 days without charges being set.
You skim video of Thane meeting with Bank Leadership, the consul of High Nobles. He has a press conference that you note his droid bodyguard, Gunthar, and Quesya are in the back watching. As you arrive you gather from your research that at 1600 today Gunther and Quesya will be performing ceremonial dances of their people at the Montrol Cultural Center. Thane will attending the Mayor's Banquet in honor of the High King. At 1800 every night at Theater Dankse is Alta Dyson and Allistar performing in Madra Teene a musical that tells of the droid uprising and the hero Jon Dekker who defeated them.
You also tell from commercials between the videos that the dock ward of the city is the rougher part of town. Many advertisements for sabaac lairs, exotic dancers, and hives of scum and villainy center around the docks.
You are the only persons in your shuttle car and arriving at the terminal you note that many more people are departing than arriving.

What areas are closest to our arrival point? It might make sense to just go to whatever we can reach fastest and expand our search from there.

It arrives downtown so you are close to the Imperial Plaza Hotel, the Cultural Center, Mushroom Gardens, Theater, Imperial Government Building, Montrol Police HQ, Montrol Central Bank, and a little ways from the Temple of the Prophet (former Jedi Temple). You could go to dockside, Shador compound, or the starport. The Island of CUTHBERT lies in the bay outside of montrol with it's large former ship dominating the island and a statue of the Emperor rising above.
