On his turn, Fargrim moves back to the webbing and starts trying to help Oloric out of it. [Standard Help action, Olly gets advantage on his next check to get out of the web.]

Blackarrow looks at the Wizard and says "For now. However, if the demon over there has its way, it won't last. Do you still have any magic left? If not an offensive spell, maybe some enchantment to allow us to pierce its hide?"

The Wizard looks to Blackarrow. "The sword of Amyria is in the shrine they performed the ritual on the goblin women. It will cut the beast's hide."

Goblins race in at the just formed demons with spears and cleavers thrusting. 10 strike the demons with thrown spear or cleaver and the first line of demons find they are in more trouble than they ever imagined. The first line of goblins begin to cough as the Dretch's aura of green poison swirls around the creatures. Izzy slides through the shadows and the demon do not notice him in the rush of goblins Izzy does notice the stench of the creatures (DC11 con save or poisoned). Three demons begin to rend the goblin women. Three goblin women fall. Hraken attacks the downed demon the magic of his gauntlets embedding him with the ability to hurt the beast. One attack after another fails to strike the demon with any damage (rolled 6 and 6). 3 demons charge Hraken and bite and claw the ranger. They strike him 9 times with claw or bite (27 damage). The Herzog sees the ranger is in trouble and from the ground claws and bites at Hraken. (26 damage) The big ranger falls beside the demon. "Now Hobgoblin you stand alone." The wizard rises and prepares to cast. next round,  Gnomes 22, Captain Kartenix 19, Izzy 19, Sinruth 16, Blackarrow 14, Malik 14, Paelius 14, Fargrim 13, Goblins 12, Hraken 10, Demon 8, Oloric 5, Wizard Sertanian 3 Gnome Arcanists AC13 Hp 36 (12 left and 12 left) Demon, Hezrou Ac 16, HP 136 (92 left) Demon Dretch AC 11, Hp 18 Captain Kartenix Jario AC18 Hp 52 (16hp left) Wizard Sertanian Jario AC 15 Hp 40 (22hp left having a heart attack) Thurann Jario AC 14 Hp 7 Goblin Women AC 15 Hp 11 |

Izzy continues to dodge through the throng of stinky demons, holding his breath. Turning the corner into the demon room, he dashes back to the north wall, and fires his crossbow at the hezrou in mid-gloat. One bolt sinks in, although less than it should have, and the other glances off the demon's scaly hide. "I really need to steal a magic crossbow," Izzy mutters to himself.
[Con save total: 16, whew. Bonus Cunning Action: Disengage. Attack roll total: 21(extra success=second attack) next roll total: 13(miss); sneak attack damage: 19/2=9]

Malik listens to his companions and avoids confrontation for now. "Be ready to move once the webbing is gone and to safety until we sort out this chaos" the avenger screams over the ruckus to the others. "Find the old woman and stick together".
Seeing the influx of goblins he bides his time chanting a spell of healing hoping it will be enough for him to survive this mess with his reserves now empty. He prays to his god for strength. (Heal 6 more)

The Gnomes are nowhere to be found they have rushed to the first level.
The Captain tells his son to stay with the adventurers in the hall and starts pushing through the goblins to get to his father.
Izzy tip toes through the demons and fires between the mass of Demons ripping in Hraken striking the main demon with his crossbow bolt. The demons turn and see the thief standing across the room.
Sinruth Swirls his chain in a circle striking all of the demons in the area. Inspired he cracks the whips at the Herzog on the ground still channelling eletricity through the chain then stomps on the demon. (Chain burst 10 damage to each Dretch, 5 damage to Herzog, used inspiration to chain strike Herzog 7 damage after resistance, and a stomp since he is prone for 5 damage after resistance. 17 total damage to Herzog demon)
Malik hugs and heals himself.
Blackarrow from where he is standing sees behind the hoard of goblin women is the Priestess of the Moon. She is in tattered white robes but is still stunning. He sees she carries a platinum bastard sword in her hands but it is obvious she has no knowledge how to use it.
Paelius fires at the prone demon again with an ray of frost again slowing the beast and causing a small amount of damage.

Blackarrow uses his superior size to shove his way through the horde, and as he emerges at the other side, he drops to one knee and says "Milady, would you grant me the blade so that I may banish the hellspawn from this plane?" He guesses that she's probably rather skittish at this point, so he's hoping the more delicate approach will be the more effective one.
Athletics: 16.
(If he needs it to convince her) Persuasion: 19! I knew I put those points into Charisma for a reason!

Dropping the blade she near tackles him with a hug. Through sobs she exclaims,"Oh, It has been horrible. Please protect me. Please let me go home."
