Oloric, "That old lady is in the safest place she could be until we have a clear plan. We need to secure this compound before we worry about the old lady. Plus I certainly have no clue how to help free her even if we had the time. That magic is quite beyond my abilities! If we need to be leaving quickly if there's too many foes she certainly won't be able to keep up until we can ensure her safety"
As Malik pulls his axe out of the goblin corpse he remarks, "Izzy can you lead us down that northern area to try to find where the rest of the captives might be? Anyone else have any thoughts on a plan other than random searching? If there's really a lich we're likely breakfast for the remaining goblins if we don't watch out."

Izzy slides his tools back into their case. "On the other hand, she might actually be able to tell us something about what's going on around here. Like, for example, if there actually IS a lich wandering around. Might be worth at least talking to her, even if we can't get her out, yet." He frowns down at the dead drake. "Somebody wanna help me pry my rapier outta this lizard?"

At Izzy's touch Blackarrow spins around while drawing an arrow, knocking it, and...he gives out a chuckle once he realizes what happened. He lowers his bow and comments "I swear, you've enough luck for the group of us. If I were half a second slower in recognizing you..." he shakes his head and joins the rest of the group.
"As trying as the woman may be, she was taken in with the rest of the prisoners, yet was for some reason give a special prison of her own. I find it unlikely that she would have started with such an honor, so she likely won it through her pleasant manner after originally residing with the others. Thus, she may know how to find them, or at the least know where to start looking, as well as who ordered to take them and why. She may be difficult to work with, but she is a potential font of information right now."
As he finishes, he nods to Izzy "I'll see what I can do. Hopefully it will make up for the near case of friendly fire." He braces a foot on the drake's body, pulls, and...
Athletics: 16. I don't know the DC of pulling something from a drake's hide, but this will either be rather effective or rather embarrassing.

Blackarrow pulls the weapon free it's guard is stuck in drake entrails and long bloody parts come out with the weapon.

The drakes jumped from the second level onto the bridges that pass over the rivers. Any tower leads up to the second level. The witch is sitting in the overgrown garden.

Climbing up you move over to the garden area. Hraken looks to the overgrown mushrooms of various types and stops the group. (passive perception)
The witch looks up noticing you have returned,"Hooray the mighty heroes return. Now don't get yourselves killed. The brown mushrooms are cloudspores harmless but annoying. The large white are shiekers and can wake the dead with there screams. The red capped are slumberspores and will put you in a happy place. They grey release doomspores that will kill you where you stand."
OOC Knowing to stay away you just need to make a Dc3 acrobatic check to move through the garden without tripping over your own 2 feet.
Paelius steps forward and moves to the arcane circle he pulls a fruit off a nearby tree and tosses it at the circle. The fruit strikes an invisible wall that crackles and fries the fruit. The fruit drops still outside the circle. "The circle is set to shock anything that touches it. It is not just a field of arcane force but delivers attacks. That could be it's undoing. Like any energy form it will have limits." He gathers a half dozen apples and tosses one after another. The first 4 are fried and drop to the outside. The 5th is fried and drops inside the circle at Zerriksa's feet. Paelius pauses slightly as it passes through and his 6th apple fries and bounces off again.
Zerrika lift up the apple and takes a bite,"Not a bad baked apple. Hey, they have not fed me since we got here." She takes another bite,"Well at least they are not feeding on me like Captain Kartenix."

Izzy steps around the various mushroom patches, and then examines the outside of the circle. Does it look like there's a way to de-activate or disable the circle from outside? Like mess up the runes or something?
"Hey, so what's a crabby old bat like you doing in a nice place like this? Aren't they worried you'll lower the property values or something?" Izzy smiles at Zerrika. "More seriously, though, that's kind of a high-end security arrangement. Who put it together, and why on you?"

"Somehow these gobin hags gained the services of a group of gnomes. They had me making potions and components for rituals then figured they needed to keep me alive. The trap is because they realize the extent of my powers after I blew the heads off two of the gnomes. my abilities can not be stopped by a simple ring of iron." She holds the iron collar around her neck.

Malik does not bother crossing the mushroom patch. He was able to hear the hag from where he was. "So have you seen the baroness around or has it only been these goblins and gnomes? Where are they keeping the other prisoners?"
Oloric moves through the mushrooms with ease to stand near Izzy (16 for the check).

She begins to answer then her eyes narrow,"Wait, you are getting me out of this? A lady doesn't give up everything without getting what she wants first. I known enough men in my day to know that." She looks Malik up and down and smiles a crooked half tooth smile,"Wouldn't mind knowing another though."

Malik will also use his divine sense to see if anything is nearby that is evil, undead, etc.

Okay, They mostly grabbed specific prisoners for this plan that they have. They are doing two rituals. One is a transferal ritual. They are taking someone's spirit and transferring it to another. This is an arcane ritual but required some tricky components.
The other ritual I had only heard of being used once before. It is a Arcane and Divine ritual to allow for necrotic fertilization. The ritual was created by the Moon Goddess priestess for the Lord of Winterhaven centuries ago. He died without and heir and the ritual allowed his wife to conceive from his.. well... I think you bright boys can figure it out. I had to prepare 200 pickled goblin parts for the ritual so they are thinking big here. Well they are goblin so not actually big.. okay you know what I mean. Still not sure where you find 200 pickled goblin wankers... maybe they are a delicacy somewhere.
The Baroness is here and has a hosts of zombies and skeletons that follow her. She looks to be quite dead and quite insane.

Malik and Hraken both know that Goblins carry child for 3 months. They give birth to a litter of 8 to 10 goblins who will be fighting age in 2 winters.
