Moff Sarne Preparing for Pirate Purge
Montrol City, Gandle Ott
Citizens looked up last night to see the sky suddenly filled with dozens of new stars, as Moff Sarne's huge expeditionary fleet arrived to orbit around Gandle Ott. Sarne has massed the giant fleet to exterminate once and for all the many pirate and Rebel terrorists organizations operating in the sector's Rim worlds and the wilds, said one of the Moff's spokesmen this morning in a meeting with government leaders. "The Moff believes that only a unified and strong force can sweep the many illegal bandit fleets before it," the representative said. "He has formed such a force in a record five days, so that the pirates will have little warning and no time to prepare for the carnage to come. We are going in after them, into every little system and dust cloud, and we won't be back until we have rid our sector of such filth."
Sarne began to coordinate resupply efforts with his Imperial counterparts at Crimler Naval Base here in Montrol City immediately after arriving last night. The fleet spent the night uploading supplies from the base and adjacent depots, and recalled the reserve military personnel living on Gandle Ott to active duty. All the major Houses gladly presented their best knights to imperial service. The fleet is expected to remain in orbit for another 2 or 3 days, though sources in the fleet say that Sarne is anxious to be off.
As for the local defenses, House lords and ladies are recruiting from the Trade guilds more loyal guard recruits, and Sarns's spokesman has said that the NobleStar will be staying in orbit for defense.
Captain Kaiya Admetrum reads the news report for the hundredth time as she sits in the tactical suite in the aft of the bridge with Jessa Dejus. She then switches to the crew inactive roster.

She tries not to but flips up the ships death records. Dasha Defano, Biv Hayer, Erik Merimen, Reddin Tilan, Yala Gente, 2 troopers and a Trandoshan security officer who did not even have full records inputted into the system before their deaths.
"You can't dwell in the decisions of the past Kaiya." Jessa states, "We have a mission."
"I know to be honest I just don't feel ready to be captain, diplomat, savior of the New Republic. I'm a foot soldier not a leader." Kaiya admits.
"You don't have a choice. This is your mission. This is your purpose. You didn't plan to be a captain I didn't plan to be locked up and tortured by Sarne and have some strange connection to some alien horror show. Life doesn't always flow down path we expect." Jessa explains. It still feels strange that the former rebel operative and former imperial officer have become so close, but somewhere in their past hardships they found a common ground of respect.
"I know," Kaiya tugs on the NRO uniform to straighten the front and puts on her captain face, "Time to try to be the great Captain Admetrum."
"Do or do not, there is no try." Jessa offers with almost a smile.
Kaiya moves out to stand by Slyer in the captain's chair. She waves him away as he tries to offer her the seat. "You bring her in Phillip." She touches his shoulder reassuringly.
The FarStar drops and finds a group of old Delta fighters waiting for them.
Lilith calls,"Lt Gorjay is on the com sir."
"Put it on the main screen." Slyer commands.
Gorjay looks less than fresh in her tight delta cockpit. "Sir, We have been snooping around the system the last 2 days and will be sending findings to you. Permission to dock."
"Permission granted. Dock and maybe see the refresher Ranna."
"Hey, You spend 4 days in this barikani can and see how you look. These babies can move though and are almost undetectable when coasting. Ranna out."
The information feeds in and Slyer, Thyte, Jessa, and Kaiya begin to run through the reports.
They see reports that Sarne has left the system with all of the Imperial Fleet that was stationed here. They system only has local patrol ships, merchants, and some pirate activity. Ranna and her squad did engage and run off a pirate vessel that was attacking a House Ik'Tal Freighter.
They all stop at the planetary recon.
"What in the nine hells is that." Thyte asks.
"That is a Torpedo Sphere Planetary Defense System. It was codenamed Noblestar." Jessa explains. "It is used to enforce imperial control of a planet. The sphere can fire and destroy any point on the planet with laser batteries, proton torpedoes, or even single target laser systems. It contains a the highest levels or surveillance systems as well. "
"This thing could blow us out of the sky," Thyte responds.
"No it can't," Kaiya points out. "They have a planetary shield that surrounds and protects the planet and the Noblestar. Nothing can fire in, but it also can not fire out. The shield is being generated from the planet."
"Also it doesn't totally work." Jessa states.
"What exactly does that mean." Thyte asks.
"The system was a prototype abandoned when the Death Star project showed more promise. The systems where never perfected. Also Sarne removed most of the proton torpedoes to use with the fleet. The threat of the Noblestar is normally enough to keep a planet in line, so it doesn't need to be fully operational."
"Been aboard the Noblestar before. It is a shell of what it reports to be but still can be deadly." Theta adds moving over from the security post.
"So it's bark is worse than it's bite." Kaiya states. "Hopefully it has an exhaust port or two. Now we have a new objective, destroy the Noblestar. First, we still need to be diplomatic. History will be made for good or ill in the next four days."
Episode Four Mission Objectives
Return House Shador to power- The High King will be calling the High Nobel Council of Kothol to meet and choose the High King. Nobles who are not on planet will have four days to arrive before the vote. Shador must replace House Kathor.
New Republic Treaty- After the vote for the High King will be acceptance or rejection of the treaty negotiated to have Kathol join the New Republic.
Dismantle or destroy the Noblestar- The weapon is a threat to everyone on the planet.
Find Ciro and Kl'aal- Find Locain Shador or the Iron Fist.
Discover Sarne's destination.

When the NR Task Force arrives Kaiya, Gorak, and Unda will be charged and tried for war crimes in the torture and deaths of Imperial prisoners on Kolatill.
