Slyer hears the exchange, "does it sound like an automated que?" "Have the rodian kid look at it, give him a crack at it he is very good". "Have Lt Alyian help him, she is well versed in imperial protocol with Jessa gone she might have some insight." You have a good crew up there, use the talents, the Captain is expecting results. Slyer makes sure several of the crew and Hydan hear his remarks. (hoping for little leadership boost to Hydan/Alyian.) "You can also get chief down in droid ops to listen in if needed, he may have a totally different take."

Bifzik passes by Lilith without a word and begins to work her consul. The voice on the comm changes to a stream of data. "Just need to find an opening in his I/O system. There we go. Now through his security node. Take control of his data router. I'm into the MSTC system accessing employee log. 90% of MSTC employees are currently off world and marked as on leave of absence. There is a Ensign Urikil of House Ik'Tal still on duty. Contacting Ensign Urikil."
Bifzik stands back and waves Lilith forward.
Ensign Hydan begins to clap at the Verpine's skill. He stops as the com system lights up.
"MSTC0037 why are you contacting my post? Please give the nature of you operating malfunction?" A sleepy Ensign Urikil yawns and mumbles through.
"This is Ensign Lilith of the New Republic Star Ship FarStar. We have spent the last 40 minutes in a processing loop in MSTC0037's systems. We want to receive clearance to land."
"Okay, let me see... Oh! Yes, the FarStar... Oh! terribly sorry. I apologize. We have never had this difficulty with the system before. Let me personally apologize and you have VIP authorization to land in the Montrol Starport Embassy Center. Government personnel will be waiting to welcome you. Again my deepest apologies."
Ensign Urikil send the approach trajectory and Colton nods approval.
"We have 74 minutes to landing." He declares.

Bifzik thank you, I would like you to teach Hydan a few tricks, say hour or so a day? Advise me of the progress after the first two meetings.
Lilith nice job, crew we have less than 74 minutes and a few plans to run through. With the data of 90% on leave we have a few more questions on our hands.
Slyer is pleased with how well the crew worked together and from different departments, he makes a note to look at Bifzik for promotion.

Bifzik begins to explain to Ensign Hydan,"Every communication is converted into data packet which are converted back at the receiving com system --(30 minutes of technobabble)-- and that is how you slice a computer system through a communication channel. It would be faster to transfer data over comms of it was not also sending an Imperial Location Beacon with each communication."
Ensign Hydan suddenly shook off the lull of sleep coming over him,"What Imperial Location Beacon?"
"The beacon that the communication programs subroutine is attaching to all communications." Bifzik pulls up the sub-routine on the communication station.
"Frak me!" Hydan exclaims. "Captain Slyer! We have a problem."
"So every communication we sent has been sending a homing beacon for the Empire." Lilith states.
"Correct! Until I disabled the sub-routine we have been sending our position to any Imperial ship. This is probably why the Imperial Supply Depot transmitted it's position to us. I would believe the Aegis has the same sub-routine. If you did not examine the communication station you would not find it." Bifzik explains calmly.

Slyer: Hydan work with Bifzik, see if this is problem is infected into our computers or any other sub routines, and/or is a stand alone from the station or was it built in to our CPU's to respond?
Chief Krudar mobilize your gunners, Bridge get ready in case we have company, hanger needs to give me a status of available and how long to launch.
Captain, do you desire for us to complete this mission or another course?
Astrogation what is the most likely location of empire forces that could respond? Give me travel time at times x1 hyperdrive.
Bridge ops anyone have anything to add?

Bifzik begins to work the comm board,"The sub-routine was placed in the ship 7 weeks ago. Well before the Battle of Kal'Shebbol or this mission was ever thought of. It's just like the sub-routine that unbalanced the drives. The sub-routine that made the servant droids try to open the airlocks. This ship has had dozens of small programs hidden in the systems well before we came to possess it. Fascinating." "What kind of paranoid psycho sabotages his own ships." Ensign Hydan muses. Watching the exchange from the Tactical bay holograph Jessa speaks up,"Sarne is just that kind of paranoid psycho." Kaiya comms Chief Sheldon in droid ops,"Chief I need you to go over the Aegis computers sub-routines. Ensign Hydan is sending you an example of what we are looking for." Thyte moves to astrogation and begins calculations. Kaiya looks to the group,"We don't have a choice but this mission. We already have Thane, Alta, Allistar, and the rest of our diplomats on planet. For us to no show could destroy our chances of getting the sector into the New Republic. We have to remove the Aegis from any plans requiring stealth until it is clean. That leaves the delta fighters and the jump troopers as options for the Noblestar mission. I think we send both. Theta you prep your men for the jump you will be dropped as soon as we pass the planetary shield. Noell your are expected in the delegation so your team will need to be headed by Ranna. Ranna you need to find a way to fit Bifzik and Lodor with you. Bifzik you know computer systems and Lodor you know weapons. Find a way to disable the Noblestar." Bifzik looks up from comms,"We may be able to use Sarne's sub-routines against him. if I infect the Noblestar with modified versions of Sarne's programs it could disrupt it's systems or even cause it to destroy itself." Get yourselves ready you drop in 60 minutes. Thyte sends calculations to the board.  "Sarne jumped from Gandle Ott 2 days ago and we can not know exactly where he is. We believe he jumped deeper into the sector, but that is just a guess. Most of his forces were meeting at Oon Tien (40 hours away) and our Task Force is their in battle with his forces. We have heard rumors of strong imperial presence on Shintel (12 hours) and Pembric II (4 days) but with Sarne's movement of force we have no way of knowing who is there now. Except for Oon Tien we just don't know." |

The Hanger has 4 Deltas (Keeg,Fionia, Ranna, Tal) 4 X-Wings (Carne, Gabby, Oouban, Ciro), 6 Defenders (Erroll, Cobb, Jonas, Scimitar, Kym, Meera) . and the Aegis (Chanariak). Delta are first out of the hanger bay and X-Wings are on the launch tubes attached to the bottom of the FarStar.

Thyte takes the command as crewmen move to positions. Once inside the planetary shield the deltas with troopers piggyback on them drop out of the bay and still in zero g use minimal repulsorlift to nudge the group slowly at the noblestar. Thyte knows they arrive in about an hour and has lower brudge comms monitoring for any alerts or reports of their presence.
The starport is first class in the section you are landing in. You will have your own private customs and security at this level of service. Colton must land carefully for scores of citizens, politicians and news media are waiting.

14:04:16 0600 hours
The Farstar lands in the midist of the crowd. Thyte sends to Edly and the weapons ops to keep tracking. He signals for security to create a zone around the main ramp. He looks at the skeleton crew left in security. Valllens, Tola, Teyjo, Baraduk, Tann. Vallen is acting security chief. With support by K4 droids they move the throng back. Reporters and camdroids are swirling around.

"Sir, We have power sources incoming. At least 100 droids with 40 higher powered mechanisms." Ensign Hydan reports from sensors.
"Power weapons and give security the heads up." Thyte states. "Chief Arkish get the weapons and shields powered up." Thyte continues. "Colton starting plotting our escape route."
Vallens responds to the warning,"We have 2 dozen reporters from around the sector the Imperials would loose all respectability if they attack."
He walks to the Captains shoulder and whispers the situation.
"She says to play it cool. It could be a secondary security being put in place." Vallens comms back up to the bridge."Frak we have Droiddekas this is getting ready to go red."
Thyte watches from sensors and the droid roll up and fix firing positions.
A robotic voice announces over the airport PA system. "Citizens of Montrol this is a code red situation please evacuate the hanger area. Highjackers of the Renegade. Your ship is a stolen Imperial Vessel. Please come out with your hands up and surrender or we will be forced to use whatever force is required to secure the vessel."
The reporters are fleeing the area.

Thyte sees Jessa step forward on the screens,"Okay Jessa let see you work that Imperial magic."
Hearing the droids warning he punches the com. "Edly crater the entire security force, try to lessen damage to structures but take out all you can."
Edly's crew targets the smaller laser cannons knowing the turbolaser would crater the entire spaceport.
Anyone who wants to do something else needs to speak now or the MSPSF (Montrol Space Port Security Force) is going to be destroyed.

Hearing Kayia call Thyte tells Hydan and Lilith to try to get someone on comms.
Lilith finds someone first,"Sir, Ambassador Thane is in route with the Vice-Governor. They where delayed by a traffic stop to the space port. The Vice-Governor is contacting the Space Port administration now."

Thyte watches the deescalation of hostilities outside the ship. The next few hours are spent going over the ship's sytems making sure nothing was damaged and putting together security crews. Many of the K4 droids are in pieces in Beldon's shop. Thyte must pull engineers and bridge crew to perform security patrols within and without. The hours move on to evening and the bridge monitors all three talk shows the crew are appearing on.
Hydan, Edly, and Lilith all suggest rotating small groups into short 4 hour shore leaves. Many have not stepped off the ship in weeks. Thyte gives in and allows them to shift out small groups for leave but each must carry a tracker and not leave the starport.
