Stev: Looking at his records, Stev is about as close to being a lifelong Rebel as one can be. He was first brought onto a Rebel Base by his foster father when he was 12 years old.  Two years later, he was a witness to the famed Battle of Yavin while his father was stationed at the base.  Unfortunately, while the Rebels won that day, when the Empire came back, Stev's father was one of the many casualties of the retreat.  Oddly enough, rather than being sent to safe havens like many youths who had fallen in with the Rebels, Stev was admitted into training as a Specialist unit.  From his first deployment at the age of 16 and onwards, Stev has bounced from squad to squad, always earning praise, yet always requesting a transfer.  Six years later, this pattern led to a place as a junior member in Page's Commandos, which led to an assignment as a member of Field Ops on the FarStar.

At 1.75 meters, Stev is a bit more vertically challenged than many of the combat-oriented members of the crew, but it's clear that every centimeter is filled with as much strength as humanly possible. His size, strength, and agility are that of a gymnast, but if a combatant thinks that he's limited to jumps, flips, and lifts, they will be sorely mistaken. While he's not unfamiliar with a blaster, Stev loves to get up close and personal with opponents. He has quite a few tools to do that, to the point where, in addition to the various weapons stored in his private quarters, Stev hand-made a locked weapons rack in the rec room to keep the weapons he couldn't fit. He's most often seen with his vibroknife, but on the practice floor he can just as likely be seen working with a Czerhander, Gaffi Stick, or even an electrostaff.  Almost all of his free time is spent training, and through it all he stays in his combat uniform: an old, helmetless, dark grey suit of laminate under a nomad greatcoat emblazoned with the insignia of the New Republic.  The only indication that he expends any effort is the gradual dampening of his mussed brown hair.

On ship, Stev's known to be a bold yet also caring soul.  While he doesn't back down from a fight, he'd much prefer to calmly discuss issues, and if he does have to beat someone down, he's often also the one at that person's bedside when they wake up.  However, when faced with true enemies of the FarStar, his compassion shifts to determination, and in some instances even rage, like when he stormed out of a tactical meeting on Kolatill to hunt down a nearby group of slavers.

Recently, with the kidnapping of Captain Ciro and Kl'aal and the ascension of Commander Adrimetrum to Captain, Stev became the head of Field Ops, since he was the only member of the team who was also transferred in from the New Republic Military. The transition has been less than smooth, as Stev has had a difficult time giving up his role as a scout in order to assume his role as a leader.

"My full name is Stev Alor'ad.  I'm the son of Alor'ad, an Alpha-class ARC Captain turned bounty hunter, and Cyar'ika, a Jedi Knight who served as a General in the Clone Wars and my father's direct superior.  When the Purge started, my mother and father worked together to survive the betrayal and escape to an uninhabited planet in the Minos Cluster.  From there, since my mother would be a target of bounty hunters and the newly-formed Inquisitorius, my father regularly left the planet to collect bounties and pay the bills while my mother took to raising me when I was born a few years later."

"Things worked pretty well, but then the Sabiador Slavers managed to find us, with our old friend Gorak at the head of the crew.  My mother tried to fight them off, but she was rusty, and they had tech and numbers on their side.  Luckily, my father found out at the last minute when he stumbled across a few of my mom's old Jedi friends who were hunting the slavers, but they only got there in time to rescue me from the edge of death from the wounds I suffered, and then he ran off after my mom.  I never heard from either of them again.  I got placed into the care of my foster dad, a soldier in the Rebel Alliance, ended up in Yavin IV, he got killed in the evacuation, I tested into Rebel Spec Ops, and the rest is history."

"I know what you're all hoping, and no, just because I'm the son of a Jedi and was raised by one doesn't mean I'm one too.  Quite the opposite, actually.  Since we were hiding from people who could sense us in the Force, I was always taught to spurn my gifts and hide my true abilities from anyone and everyone, and as a result I'm definitely on the weak side of the Force Sensitive scale.  Most of what I can do with the Force amounts with making myself better than I physically could be at things I already do, run faster, jump higher, hit harder, that general idea.  Recently, I've also had the ability to feel living presences around me, and even sometimes hear their thoughts, but, as I said, that's recently, and I don't have the best handle on those skills yet."

"I figured you'd need to know because, in the coming days, I'm not going to be able to risk holding myself back anymore.  I'm going to need to rely on everything I've got, and I don't want anybody to be surprised when I do it.  Just, please try to keep quiet about it, okay?  The last thing I need now is a bunch of Inquisitors chasing me."

• VibroKnife: This knife was given to Stev by his father a year before the abduction.  Stev is never without it.
• VibroGreatsword:  A gift from his foster father, this larger blade helps Stev deal with larger problems.
• Light Repeating Blaster:  Stev managed to talk the requisitions droid into trading in his old rifle for this work of art.
• Double-Bladed Lightsaber: Discovered in the Muvon.
• ARC Trooper Armor:  His father's old set of armor that was left at his home after the Sabiador raid.  Stev has been wearing it ever since he could fit into it.  To help hide its origin, Stev painted the white portions a dark grey.  It comes with a mounted hands-free liquid-cable grapple launcher.
• Hunting Goggles:  Since Stev avoids wearing helmets when possible, this pair of goggles gives him all the benefits of a standard helm while keeping his ears free to the air.
• ECM-598 Medical Backpack:  The basics necessary for Stev to keep someone alive.
• Integrated Weapons Harness, Load-Bearing Gear, Military Pack, and 2 Utility Belts:  To carry all that gear.

In the FarStar's Rec Room (Locked Weapon Stand)

• VibroSword:  Stev was presented this blade when he officially joined Rebel Spec Ops.  It isn't the most useful now that he has better, but he keeps it around for the sentiment.
• Stun Club:  When he needs to go non-lethal and he knows it, he'll swap out a blade for this club.
• Combat Knife:  His first weapon he ever had.  He named it Pokey.  Don't insult Pokey, he's very sensitive about it.
• Gaffi Stick:  Stev picked this treasure up on a op on Tatooine.  That was a messy one.
• Vibrosaw:  This non-stop death-machine was stored with the Power Armor in the Aegis.  Since Stev has his own set of armor, he has his own saw.
• Electrostaff:  Years later, when Stev took leave to return to his home and try to find clues on Sabiador, he found this trophy his father took from a Magnaguard.  On principle, he prefers to avoid using a weapon of the Confederacy, but he still trains with it if he ever loses the luxury of principles.
