I urged the GM to get a character description thread together to spare us needing to describe things in detail and thus conserve it for things that are more relevant to the myth arc.
He told me to do it. Sadface.
Nothing major, just a few paragraphs.
I'm personally taking a page from Kyquell and adapting what's been revealed in order to ease up on what I have to keep track of, me being me I'm going to take this to the logical extreme, so expect a wall of text at a later point.
"So that's the the one who's standing trial on behalf of that entire unit?"
"That was the one in charge, yes."
"Funny. I figured Palpatine to be a sexist, too. Prisoner, stand up."
-Agents Burke and Ryan regarding CV 28's fate shortly after her capture in 4 ABY.

Lydia's Character Folio
Description
Lydia DeCaville, formerly known as CV 28 was a top enforcer of Thax the Hutt, later a Stormtrooper sergeant who served in the Galactic Civil War and later served as a Republic Vanguard post formation of the New Republic military after a sham trial. DeCaville was known for a strong sense of duty and moral integrity that wasn't common in the Stormtrooper Corps, which made her interactions with Imperial Citizens much easier. During her time as a Stormtrooper she was less concerned with keeping order than she was maintaining the peace. After injuries sustained during the assault on Kashyyk in 1 BBY after getting her leg maimed by a Wookie Bowcaster, her squad was detached from her old regiment. This is mainly due to her regiment constantly fluctuating in strength, due to casualties, her squad continually found itself cannibalized into other regiments until she eventually found herself stationed on the Forest Moon of Endor. There she served as a guard until her defeat and capture at the hands of Rebel forces during the Battle of Endor. Shortly after, she was press-ganged into defection and resentfully serves the New Republic Military.

Imperial Department of Military Research Stormtrooper Armor
Synonymous with Palpatine's regime, Stormtrooper armor was a distinctive white plastoid body armor over a sealed black body glove worn by Imperial Stormtroopers. It consists of a set of eighteen pieces completely encased the body with no markings besides rank markings. The body glove allowed for operation in warm or cold climates, however it could protect the trooper from almost any environment, or a lack thereof (total vacuum conditions) to the very extremes in cold and heat for a very limited period of time. The Imperial Army soon acquired the use of the armor in the later years of the Galactic Empire.
Adapted Republic Department of Munitions Advanced Reconnaissance Commando Armor
Since becoming a Republic Soldier, Lydia has made considerable modifications to her old armor and has refit it with older pieces of more advanced armor, particularly those of the ARC Troopers which were recovered during the end of the Coruscant Campaign. Notably she has cannibalized elements from both Phase I and Phase II sets, combining the best elements of all three in order to create 'this sort of [EXPLETIVE DELETED] monster [The Republic] wouldn't even use' with her modifications being considered 'ineffectual' at best, and 'deviant and retarded' at worst. She notably utilized the Phase I helmet and Phase II breather and mouth guard, and used the integrated rangefinder and magnocular subsystems, both of which were crucial with the loss of her eye.
Due to her damaged throat, she opted to install an Anunciator unit as well as a Modulator in order to hide her accent as well as her identity. On top of that, she redesigned her breastplate and pauldron to include a set of ammunition pouches and some rigging to mount more equipment on, a pair of magnetic strips to mount more spot lamps and made accommodations to her spinal rigging in order to eventually incorporate a jetpack. She's also incorporated toe-spikes and spurs to her boots and reinforced both gauntlets. Most notable is her adaptation of the traditional Mandalorian Kama with her own personal designs meant to stress her individuality as well as show her allegiance. This has, incidentally gotten her mistaken for a Clone Trooper on more than one occasion.

Some Trivia:
- Vandal's functionality was based roughly on the Storm Commando enemy present in the Age of Rebellion Beta, but was absent for the release. Her actual career is Hired Gun and her specialization is Heavy.
- Vandal's tendency to remain in a full armor is a nod to her Stormtrooper background. Additionally, it was an affectionate nod to many Republic Troopers in TOR having a tendency to get a white helmet and never take it off.
- Her blue highlights allude to the fact that historically, the Republic's color was red, where the Empire's was primarily blue. This is also meant to allude her divided loyalties.
- Vandal's personnel file suggests she's much older than she actually looks--Her file says she's 26, although it isn't uncommon for Mid Rim immigrants to lie about their age to enlist early (She did, she's only 23), and looks to be barely an adult before her scarring's factored in--and uses her Imperial ID photo (she had both eyes then). The fact that she rarely gets sunlight is one of many contributing factors.
- According to her personnel file, Vandal is a Sergeant in the Republic Military.
- Her right side is much more heavily armored, suggesting that she's left-handed. Averts the Sinister Clue Trope by merit of being firmly light-sided.
