We have 2 functional X-Wings onboard if you want us to scramble and send them to Gandel Ott separate from the FarStar. We could also send the Muvon separate from our ship." Thyte hears your order and Lilith sends a message to flight ops to launch the 2 X-Wings and have them jump seperate from the FarStar.
"Sir, We are spreading out to deal with the issues. Most are just people being jumpy and seeing things that are not there. I will head down to the medical bay and examine the problems we are seeing. Gorak out."
Lilith brings up an Aldraan waltz from the opera Revan's Fall
Engineering states they will place crew in EVO suits.
Dr. Perigga in medical states he will run through the data as soon as he can. Three of his medical staff are showing symptoms of whatever this problem is (Geena Seedar, Dr. Arkhanshe, and Raso) and he is short staffed at the moment.

Lodor reaches behind his back to grab a spray bottle. He hopes that the classic training method will still work when unnatural aggression is involved. "Well...that's...great. How about we clean you up and go get you some actually cooked food instead? Medical has some stuff that's not raw...or bleeding...or partially alive." Lodor lets out a nervous chuckle. "So, let's head down and see the others." Lodor uses the hand behind his back hovering over the spray bottle to wave away the others. He's pretty sure the kids shouldn't see this. He also wishes he didn't see it either. Jen looks at him as he wipes her face. "But she needs it raw and living. Kl'aal said so." The Nexu retreats from the spray bottle. Soon you have a somewhat clean Jen nex to the boys. |

Lodor leads the kids (and Gunthar, if he still wants to follow) to the medical bay. While they head down, Lodor inconspicuously tries to keep his hand as close to his blaster as possible in case anybody else wants to cause trouble. He also makes sure to lock it on Stun, just in case he becomes the one causing the trouble.

The turbolift door opens and Lodor begins to move the children out to the medical bay. In the hallway, he see Professor Dirk Arac rushing down the hall away from medical. Teyjo comes racing around the doorway of medical after Dirk.
"I must warn the captain. It is a matter of critical importance." Dirk proclaims as he closes on your group.

Lodor doesn't like the way this is looking. "Gunthar, Teyjo looks sad. Give him a big hug and don't let go until I say so, okay?"
Lodor then places himself in Dirk's path and pulls his blaster "Whoa Prof, slow down for a second there. I've had multiple crew going homicidal on me, and you're lookin' a little crazy right now, so stay right there. What've you got to tell the Captain about, and why are you running from medical and from Teyjo? Do you have any idea what's turning this ship on its head?"

Gunthar stands in the way of Teyjo who stops before he can hug him. "Okay squiddly its your play. Just don't let him off the deck."
The professor tries to rush past you but Mikal and the children line the hall not letting him past. "You wouldn't understand."

Lodor makes sure to place himself between Dirk and the kids as he argues "Prof, I don't think you're doing too hot. You're making arguments based on a bipoint coordinate system, but any Spacetime Topology that follows the theory of General Relativity requires a four dimensional system, otherwise it wouldn't be a proper Lorentzian Manifold. You of course couldn't establish accurate calculations when you aren't accounting for all the possible dimensions of motion present. Are you sure something isn't causing you to get jumpy?"
Mechanics: Education Check 3A vs 3D. Net result 3 successes 1 advantage.
Lodor notices the others staring him, and he adds "What? I AM a trained hyperspace mechanic, so I had to study plenty of physics. You don't need to look like I just started growing fur."
At this point, Lodor realizes that if he started growing fur, that wouldn't even crack the top ten strangest things going on in the FarStar right now. |

The Professor grabs his shoulder and gets eyeball to crazed eyeball,"You understand but you don't understand the chaos infused by the abnormality onboard will destroy the predictability of the general relativity of the Lorentzain Manifold leaving us in a bipoint dimensional rift in hyperspace."
"I'm not the brightest cub of the litter but I think he is saying jumping is bad." Teyjo states looking around Gunthar's waist.

On the bridge Thyte presses the final command sequence for hyperspace jump. The ship jumps forward with a familiar jerk and a burst of stretched light. Then the unfamiliar happens, red alerts flash through out the ship.

As the ship jerks forwards Dirk drops to his knees looking down to the floor plates,"It is too late. We are trapped."
Red Alerts sound through the hallway.

"You know, for being an esteemed professor, you do a really bad job explaining important concepts. Also, you know, you could've just commed the bridge. So, let's walk down to medical, open up a line with the bridge, and figure out how to avoid being trapped in a never-ending hyperspace loop. Honestly, I'm just glad to have a problem today that we at least know the source of."

The lift behind Lodor opens. Kym and Thanis are kneeling over an engineer. Kym is applying chest compressions as Thanis is calling to medical. "Medical we have an emergency. Cpl Rashad is not responsive."

On the bridge the double deck from viewport shows hyperspace without the familiar spiral of hyperspace travel. The hyperspace is just slowly swirling in place.
"This is not my fault," Thyte declares. "The calculations check out. We are in a hyperspace pocket."
"How do we get out!" Ensign Hydan blurts out.
"I don't know," Thyte admits.

Slyer sees that the jump is not going as planned. Thyte do you know if xwings jumped, if not tell them to hold. Recalculate the jump, use the charts updated from the royals, another with our old charts, run multiple sets use droids for one set, crew for other and cross for third. I want all six sets then compared. If any other ideas speak now. While you are doing that I need an update on medical.

Great, Lodor thinks to himself, because everyone didn't have enough problems. Lodor spins and puts his hands on Tevan's shoulders. "Kid, you've helped Blu pulled me from the brink before. You and Dirk are the best shot Rashad has of surviving the walk down this hallway. Help those two and do whatever you can to keep Rashad going." Tevan gives a nervous nod, then calms down and turns his face into solid durasteel as he moves to help Thanis and Kym.
Lodor then pulls out his comm and addresses Dirk "It's too late to stop it now, but we can still fix this somehow. I'm comming the bridge, and we can set up some sort of think-tank with Engineering, Mechanics, Bridge Ops, and Droid Ops to figure out how we get the z-coordinate and time factored back into our jump. While I brief them, help stabilize Rashad."
Lodor turns on the comm "Bridge, this is Corporal Kintor here along with Lieutenant Arac and a few others outside the Medical Bay. The good doctor here just explained to me how, to summarize in Basic, a bunch of stuff with our hyperspace systems went wrong and caused them to not take into account the vertical jump component and the time we should spend in hyperspace. That means that we may never get out of hyperspace, and if we do, we might end up inside Gandel Ott instead of above it. I'm thinking we pull all of the geniuses on this ship together to solve this problem as soon as possible, since otherwise the best case scenario is we all starve to death trapped in hyperspace forever."

Tevan kneels at the young engineers head. Rashad is barely older than Tevan and he can not believe the Force would want this. He reaches out and Rashad jerks and thrashes but is breathing again.

Slyer hears the information abut time and has all look at adding that factor into calculations. He then calls down to engineering and has the (I think the Muvon is still aboard) do separate calculations on the nav computer of shuttle/freighter.
