"It sounds like we just have to pick teams then." Stev says. "I'll go with the team moving in from the south."

Gorak looks at the Orbital picture, "Commander Adrimetrum, my suggestion, THe Aegis lands north (assuming the top of the map is north) out of range of the anti-air batteries. We unload our 3 squads as planned. we secure the LZ, and use it as a fall back position, or as a reserve force. The SRV squad moves in as close as it can get without becoming targets for the tanks or goes on foot and supports the local troops. Then Gammer, Stev, Sasha, and Analia can take their speeders run around the position as a team and take out the Anti-aircraft from the south using stealth. the SRV squad should provide enough distraction. Once Gammer's squad takes out the anti-Air Then the Aegis should be able to use it's missiles to take out the tanks and provide CAS (closee air support).

Boom picks up his pack of explosive, "Fie let myself in close and one will take out those turrets. Jolly good show." But Gorak just hears "Boom in, go Boom" as Boom gestures.

Slacker was directed to secure the LZ, but there is no heroism in that....he really wants to disable the turret with the stealth team. Thirteen whistles and beeps asking Analia to ride with her on the speeder bike. Thirteen rocks back and forth and tries to make a "puppy dog eye" with his ocular lense.
Mechanics: Cool 1 green. 2 successes.

Stev notices the puppy eyes, or more accurately 'eye', and he's a sucker for someone in need, so he tries to figure out a way to let PD13 be an official part of the team.
"Well, I'm not a tech expert, but is the turret automated? If it is, could you use those specs to hack it? That turret could be a very valuable asset if we could turn it against the Imperials, far more valuable than the scrap metal would be worth. Since you've got the specs, only you can do it, so they'd have to assign you to the squad, right?"

Kaiya and Gorak split the teams, explain mission goals and dismiss. The Aegis approaches from the north coming in behind the curvature of the planet then flying at almost treetop level to avoid scans. The land 20km north of the old fortification in a small clearing amid the dense forest.
"Remember," Kaiya states."we don't start the party until the SRV fires."
Hunters The Hunter team is the first off the Aegis after days of being cramped in the Aegis they are ready to be free. You worries of Gunthar keeping up are for naught. His long strides cover the ground of 3 normal men. Kl'aal looks at them with a yearning before he mounts his speederbike. During the 20km run the hunters take down a few of the local fauna as they pause to feast. Quesya offers Gunthar some dried fruit and nuts she prepared on the FarStar before the mission. Within the hour they are in position west of the fort ready to scale the walls (or take them down) and create chaos.
Stealth/ Scout Boom jumps behind Gammer on a speeder and PD13 uses his puppy power to get Sasha to take him aboard. Before you leave the verpine mech Bifzik points out a new button on the handle of the bike. "T'alchak added a speed boost to the speeders. From my estimation it can increase speed 214.2456% for a 6.342 second burst. It will also make the repulsor core overload 4.987% of the time with a 2.46% chance of critical failure and explosion." "Boom!" Boom says with an added chitter. "Don't touch the button, got it." Biv states. The ride through the forest is uneventful and you are in position a little early. Leaving your speeders you begin to proceed on foot through the forest to the south edge of the fort. The walls are 7m tall and the old gatehouse the turret is mounted on is 10m tall.
Snipers Hoofing it 20km with heavy weaponry does seem the best idea and Kaiya and the team ride in the SRV ubtil the last click. Scouting the area they find an extension of the wall to the east that is overgrown with trees to both sides and begin to set up in the natural canopy extending over them. Looking through the sights they see the battle is not going well for the Locals. The Imperials seems to be toying with them firing the tanks canons at the trench and watching them scurry up and down the trench to get away from the fire. The battle would have been long over if not for Imperial arrogance.
SRV The team stretches out a little more with the snipers gone and take a moment to gather and camouflage the SRV with limbs and leaves. They await the end of the hour to begin to move forward and make some noise. Kem and Merimen are pacing outside the SRV after finishing the camo job.
Aegis The crew takes shifts patrolling the edges of the clearing. They are waiting for the message that the turret is down to behind their attack.

Thirteen focus his ocular lens on the top of the old gatehouse and on top of the walls scanning for enemy guards. He looks structural weak points on the actually turret from his schematics points them out to Boom. What material are the gatehouse and walls made from? Is it magnetic?
Mechanics: Thirteen makes a Perception test to locate the enemy guards and determine the material the walls are made from. He has two yellows and gets 2 successes and 2 advantages. He uses the two advantages for a bonus on his next check. Next, Thirteen makes a Coordination check to communicate the structural weak points to Boom. He has a yellow, a green, and a blue. He gets 1trumphs, 2 successes, and nothing on the blue die. The two successes include the one from the triumph.

The walls are ancient stone blocks placed here by the first colonist to Kolatill during the time of the Old Republic. It was Fort Domaz and protected those first colonists from the local creatures that are now running scared from you Hunter Unit. It was a historical site before the Imperials drove their tanks through the wall on either side of the gatehouse. The Turret itself is on the wooden timbers that look to be original.
The guards are focused inward at watching the enemy forces run for their lives in the trench.

Stev whispers quietly to the team. "We should be able to scale the wall without much trouble. Does everyone have mountaineer armor or climbing gear? If not, I have one spare set of climbing gear."
"Thirteen, I know your servomotors probably weren't designed for climbing, so if you want you can take a ride in my pack as we go up the wall. I dumped out...most of the weapons, so there should be plenty of space for you."
OOC: If we do this, please feel free to imagine the Dagobah training scene from Empire Strikes Back but with Stev and PD13 instead of Luke and Yoda.

Sasha, Gammer, and Biv have taken position behind cover/concealment and are scanning the top of the gatehouse looking for Guards who notice the wall climbers. Kl'aal will climb the wall with his claws and roll some stun grenades at the nearest problems. Boom will follow with w rope he secures and prepare to blow the turret of PD13 is unable to slice it. Stev climbs up and frisbees PD13 under the turret then attracts some attention while he hack the system. He will try to draw troopers to the edge where the sniper team can get a shot on them. As soon as Gorak begins to fire the SRV guns at the fort area everyone will move.

Fang was extra stealthy and has made it up to the wall without being noticed. Samarian and Lowgrr are about 18m from the wall in the forested area. Quesya and Gunthar are hiding behind a vistors information kiosk that is 20m from the wall.

Boom readies some detonite for placement, scanning for the best location. (Perception or Mechanics (Demolitions) Roll?) He know he may only get one shot before the enemy start firing. Just in case, he makes sure he's got grenades handy. He would have liked a thermal detonator to really cause and bang, but for some reason, Gorack won't let him have any of those neat toys.
OOC: What is his Mechanics (Demolitions) rating? Not sure from character sheet.

OOC: Demolition specialists skill level 4 in blowing things up (and stopping things form blowing up but why would he do that). His explosive charges are 1 vehicle damage (10 personal damage)per success at setting them. Setting is an easy difficulty in most situations. If he triumphs he move to capital level damage (10 vehicle or 100 personal damage per success) and just obliterates everything. He can set a little explosives at the base support if he needs to take down the entire guard house then climb up an use smoke, splat, and stun grenades on the troopers. Unless completely stripped and body cavity searched Boom always has the making for a impromptu grenade level explosive (Fragmentation Grenade damage 8 range brawn crit 4, Blast 6, Limited Ammo 1, Timed or an Incendiary Grenade damage 8 Range Brawn crit 3,Blast 3, sustained in area 3 rounds)He just spends a destiny point (he has 2 or them currently) and he pulls a explosive out of his pouch ready to go. It is what makes him Boom
