In the wake of the Crisis Gotham has been quiet. Criminals seem to be rethinking life direction or just hiding in fear of the end of time. Bruce knows this can not last and still patrols the city’s streets. The lack of major crimes gives him a chance to remind the scum of Gotham that no crime is too small for his attention. Bruce has stopped two muggings that seemed half hearted, and foiled three minor burglaries.
He is almost ready call it a night when his helmet com reports a store alarm reported just three blocks away.
As he closes in he hears the alarm first and sees the broken window of a small electronics store. The window has displayed the name O’Reily’s Electronics since Bruce was a boy. O’Reily has sold the company to Bill Morrison, a hard working young man but he kept the name and the old painted window.
One street punk stands guard outside with a baseball bat while three others run computers and cell phones to the back of a Florist’s van (obviously stolen). They wear the colors of the Rebels, a small time street gang lead by Cliff Clate. The group is known for small time crimes and not packing heat.
