The DarkStryder Website is the place to begin your journey. The site describes the campaign, FarStar ship, crew, game mechanics, and will keep an Adventure Journal to summarize the Seasons, Episodes, and key moments in the story of the DarkStryder. www.dailydoserpg.com/After looking over the website contact the Narrator at shipple@flash.net. When contacting please have an idea (maybe a top ten list) of characters you would like play. They should be spread through the departments. You will receive three characters from three separate departments. This way at least one of your characters should be in the center of the main story line at all times. Once you have your characters you can go to the your duty post or bunk post and introduce your characters arrival on the vessel. Then jump over to the Act 1 posts and join your departments mission. |

Just noticed the in character board set for the wrong permission level. It is now open to everyone.
The first ACT1 forums are for the pre-mission shakedown time to prepare the ship and crew.
The Location forum is for posting activities between the main storylines. They are also for starting your own plans, schemes, and activities.

I think a little better explaination of how to get started. To get involved the first things you will want to do is look over the crew at www.dailydoserpg.com/rpg/crew.htm. Current members already taken are Jessa Dajus, Lofryyhn, Gunthar, Stev, Krudar, Gorak, Tyte, and Lodor. Players have added a new Pilot and a new Engineer. You then send me a list of characters you are interested in and how many you would like to play (up to three). I only ask that you spread out the departments they come from. I will then send you their full character sheet and background information. You may also create your own character using the FFG Star Wars RPG rules (either EotE or AoR) and send him in for approval. Once you have your characters you head over to the forum and start posting. dailydoserpg.boards.net/ . I ask that you try to check board once a day and post for your characters. You can post more, but we want to be a easy little dose of RPG each day not something that becomes difficult. You don’t need to worry about the rules, you post what you want your character to do and I can figure out how mechanically he does it. I do ask that you don’t look at threads that your characters are not involved in. Sometimes characters will oppose each other in actions, and other things are secret about the characters. As acts and episodes are finished summaries will be posted on the website. The last good place to start getting an idea about the adventure is www.dailydoserpg.com/rpg/prequil_the_saga_begins.htm. It was written by Tim Zhan and is the introduction to the story and crew. |

If you read something in locations and it makes sense for your character to enter the scene feel free to write them in. The Locations forum is a more free formed area. If a character is an NPC feel free to develop them in the location area also. Use them to progress your story. If you do something totally against their character we can always adjust the post later.
