Ned'ix lifts his datapad. "The ship is moving but heavily damaged. It can not jump and needs to have the hull sealed befire it can go into orbit. Would you like me to shut it down now or wait and keep it as our high card? Somrtimes you don't play you best cards first."

Sato could only shake her head at the situation that was described. Everything had been a lot to take in since the crash, and now there was a chance of being stranded all over again. She sighed and followed behind Stev. At least there would be decent company and she wasn't pinned against the ceiling with a life threatening injury. And at least the traitor wasn't one of the Republic soldiers she was starting to like. Now it was just a matter of catching their ride off world. For that, she'd trust Stev's directions.

"I'd rather arrest him sooner rather than later, though given he'll likely attempt this in the future..." Vandal trailed off during her ascent. "Regrettably, I think we may have to kill Gorak, Commander." She said, without a hint of regret in her voice. In fact, the whole thing seemed phoned in, as though she wasn't feeling it. "Granted, I've wanted to put him down like a mad dog since he performed his massacre."

Stev visibly relaxes when he hears Ned'Ix's report. "Okay, just be ready to shut the ship down the second it tries to escape the atmo."
Stev listen's to Vandal's recommendation, nodding his head before adding "And I've wanted to do it for a decade." Realizing that nobody would have any idea how he'd even known Gorak that long, he explains himself. "While the shadow tried to take me over, it attempted to use my anger to make me lose my cool. To do that, it revealed to me that Gorak Khzam is-or at least was-the head of the Sabiador Slavers, the largest and most powerful slaver group in the Kathol Sector, and Sarne's favorite supplier of test subjects. Like most people who grew up in the Kathol Sector, I lost a lot of people I loved because of him and his crew."
"Unfortunately, while that makes me want to cut him open and make him watch as we feed his intestines to the demonic Starwolves, the knowledge he has on Sarne's experiments and the Sabiador Slavers' Camps could be the key to rescuing thousands if not millions of people, potentially including our former Captain. So-" he lets out a frustrated sigh "-against my own desires, I think our best move is to capture him, break a majority of the bones in his body, and put him in a medically-induced coma for the whole ride back. If we don't have the meds to induce it, I think my fists will suffice. Double for his lackey, Unda, although taking him alive is far less of a priority."
Stev then holds out a datapad with a transmission frequency on it. "Before the mission, I planted a tracker on Gorak. Everyone should update your HUDs and scanners so you observe his position at all times. If you don't have anything, take my pad-" he quickly sticks a hand into one of his pockets and pulls out a pair of goggles "-I've already got the signal loaded on everything I can."
OOC: In what direction and how quickly does the water flow? Would it be faster to improvise a raft and ride the current to reach the elevator shaft that going on foot would be?
Mechanics: Simple Discipline Check 4A. Result 3 successes 2 advantages. Adding a rank of Rapid Recovery puts Stev at only suffering 1 Strain.

Amura learns and listens to Stev, not happy with what he hears. He asks about security protocols on the FarStar, data, those maybe still loyal to Gorak. he then looks at it from a hunter point of view and tries to determine the next move. (feel free to roll on any insight he might have)
Sigurd continues to patch up the group and running scans, he makes a mental note that some type of droid patching up may help as well and logs it in on his ever growing good idea list. He was never a fan of droids after seeing them for so long in prison but is starting to see they are useful, and useful needs to stay in the fight. "Stev any thing else you need from my meds, I could try to concoct up something to make your mental more sharp but it will have a downside."

PD13 checks the lift while Gammer and Sasha check the water flow.
PD reports the lift is working and has power. Gammer and Sasha not the flow is pretty strong at the entrance and exit. Swimming or rowing upriver would be impossible. The downriver flow goes underwater so a raft would not work. The middle of the ruins are all steel or some metal alloy. The ruins north and south are stone.

Amura knows that after Unda and Gorak tortured and set up the Imperial prisoners to die the New Republic security lost all respect for the Chief. Scourne, Thanis, and the fringers still followed him but the true soldiers did not. Ex-Imperials hate him and think him a murderer.

((OOC: According to what I have... if Aren retroactively applies Second Wind, that recovers two strain, plus anything for advantages. I recover one wound plus a point of strain.))
"Are you--*kzzt*--serious?" Vandal's expletive was lost in a hail of static from her damaged helmet, the transmission dying and forcing her to rely on the microphone. "We'll need credible evidence of that. A vision, true as it may be is ultimately dismissable. We'd need to pinpoint his victims and bring them to testify. Failing that, we leave our actions to their... justice if Sarne's little lab has any of them intact." She eventually says. "I say that because justice is delivered, and I doubt they're in any shape to earn proper vengeance. Who knows? Maybe they're better people than we? Maybe they understand that the greatest of those is mercy." She snorted at the thought of that. Mercy wasn't something she gave often, nor did she expect it, the cruel reality of her life was that it was nothing but humbling setback after humbling setback.
"I'm alright with killing Unda for his status as an accessory. It'll make Gorak easier to break when his time comes for justice. If he stands trial, he stands trial, but I think we should manage his 'tribunal' once we gather enough wounded parties."

So do you guys go up the life, dive in the water, fire missiles at the cavern roof to blow your way through?

OOC: My thoughts would be that blasting our way up could be risky, and I don't think anybody's an aquatic-native race, so even with sealed armor the underwater route has the potential to be very dangerous, so I'd maybe try the lift. What does everybody else think?
Since the others are discussing the next move, Sivu takes this time to inspect the crystals the PDs are gathering, considering that the area should be safe with the tablets gone. Can he identify what they are and what their use could be? Are they Darkstryder, or something else entirely?

Sivu will note they are Kyber crystals a group of crystals traditionally used for light saber creation. They do not have the same composition or power readouts of DarkStryder crystals.
The lift takes you up to a jammed door. Amura with help is able to force it open. Above the stone room is collapsed with the Muvon's hull pushing it down. You must crawl out from under it but soon you stand on the small isle in the center of the small acid lake.
Looking around you see the Muvon has smoke wafting out of it's top turret and cracks in the hull. Ned'Ix ship is missing as are the Jarrels. The speedbikes rest on the isle just feet from the Muvon undamaged.

((OOC: That'll save us workload with mineral gathering for the geological compressor later, if anyone bothered to remember what DeCaville said on the ship regarding the hypocr--Jedi padawans.
Regarding the sealing, I've ruled that since the Despair used on the fear roll couldn't have caused any more disastrous results besides permanent insanity (and this is Star Wars rather than call of Cthulhu), I'm either willing to take a critical injury (in this case, she's down to 1 wound (79, target gets the same attack pool, identical damage which pushes her to 0 wounds, retroactively cancelled out that advantage which was useless on my discipline roll with one threat added by setback) and having passed that threshold, that's another (this one's a 94+10, 104, choose a lost limb, boss). If we go with the lost limb, once I know what's missing, I have a suitibly traumatic post lined up.
OR
Given the severity of those rolls, Lydia's armor is breached and the power allocated to running her shield generator is instead devoted to maintaining whatever pathetic structural integrity it can. (-1 M/R Def, -2 Soak, no EV sealing, no commlink) until I can have it repaired.))

I like the armor breech and armor damage.
You are standing on the small island. You see Gorak's beacon is moving west. His ship is weaving and seems to be slowing. You have 4 speeders, a broken ship that must be at least part on fire with Brophar, Blu and his droid within. You have 4 hours at this spot before it is dark. PDs down below are retrieving crystals for you and moving tablets as far away from each other in the ruins as possible.
You have a current squad under you command of Gammer, Sigurd, Sasha, Boom, Sivu and non-crew Ned'Ix and Aren.
