Que, Mikal, Jenna personal mission investigating the old Jedi Chapter House with his padawans. Tevan will be with Que.
The four prepare and wait for Thyte to begin Shore Leave time. The Captain determined the crew needs some limited time off the ship and Thyte is rotating teams off duty. They are to stay within the starport, but Que has other plans.

As the Limo's arrive Que pulls back away from the flight deck and the ramp going down. He is directing Jessa to the turbolifts and motions for the children to follow him. Jessa is radiating heat and light from her very skin. She does not seem to be in pain or even feel the heat. She does say she can feel the power in her system.
At the medical bay Geenda takes her and begins to perform a complete medical exam.
By the time you return to the bay the delegation is gone and the fire control teams ahve removed most of the rubble.
Que exits the ramp with you following him. Instead of heading toward the main starport and customs he heads for the commercial transport hub.

The normal security is either off world with Sarne or burning on the runway around your ship. Que makes it to the back maintenece gate and reads the punch code from the object with ease. You are wrapped in your robes walking the streets of Montrol. It does remind Que of places in the core. Places he would walk when he was Quinlan Vos Jedi Knight. Places warped by the Emporer and his apprentice Skywalker. Que shakes off the past and signals for a passing cab.
Climbing into the cab Que tells the johnny cab driod."We are pligrims and would like to visit the Church of the Prophet."
"I beautiful place to enjoy the wonders of Montrol. Did you know it was once the Jedi Chaptrr House for the entirr sector?" As he drived the driod goes on about the sights of Montrol.

Tevan listens carefully to the droid as it drones on more information. He looks though the windows as he listens in an attempt to absorb as much info on the different landmarks and neighborhoods as possible, and then tries to draw the best mental picture of the area he can. Knowing the trouble his Master normally gets into, Tevan figures he might as well start planning escape routes now.

The former Jedi outpost is at the edge of Montrol city. Tevan can see the classic pyramid central building with a tower rising above and 4 towers on the edges of an out wall. You exit the cab and see Que tries to pay with physical credits.
"Imperial Currency only please," The johnny cab droid states.
Que returns the New republic credits to his robe and produces Imperial Credits.
You walk to the main gate. It is open and the inner yards are filled with vegetable crops, flowers, and fruit trees. Red and gold robed priest of the church of kathol prophets work the fields by hand. On the trip here you did see any citizens do anything by hand. Driods and automated systems drive speeders, speeder transports, cleaning, serving, and all labor.

A round priest wipes dirt from his hands as he walks to the gate. "What brings you to the church this day?"
Que tells him you are pilgrims from Kal'Shebbol looking to see the center of the church.
The priest lets you in and you walk the pathways of the Jedi Temple now marked with the symbols of the church. Que walks with touching it's here and there as you travel.
As you move through the temple you feel an uneasiness deep inside. The feeling grows into a darkness. It is a darkness like what you felt with the plaque of victory, or with some of the prisoners of Sarne. In every smiling kind face of the priest you see a leer a coldness in the eyes. The bright rooms of flowers and colors seem to have a darkness in the corners.
Que smiles as you leave and walk a ways down the empty road. He smile slips further and further away. "It is as I believed. The Church is wrapped in darkness. They align themselves with Sarne and believe he will bring the Prophet back."
Mikal states,"The Prophet is said to be a champion of light returned. Isn't that good?"
"That is the prophet most of the servants in that church believe they serve. At it's core is an evil. Did you feel it?"

Tevan nods, a troubled look on his face. "Master, if they were just a cult to Sarne, I don't think we would be getting a feeling this strong. Is it possible they could be hiding another dark artifact like the one that was on the FarStar? Maybe if we get rid of it, the darkness will go away."

"They did not allow us into the inner sanctum. If I could get into the inner levels I could feel what was there. I believe you are correct Tevan. They have a part of the greater darkness that fills the Kathol Sector. The Kathol Rift was created ages ago by a battle in the force greater than we have ever seen. During the Clone Wars the accursed Skywalker encounter the evil of the rift and when given a chance to control or destroy it just walked away from his responsibility. The Chosen one failed and again this falls on us." Que hands you Imperial and New Republic credits he points to nearby shopping center."I am going to return to the temple and find my way into the inner circle. Wait there for my return."  Mikal finds an old map of the temple from when it was a jedi temple. |

Tevan nods in acceptance. "As you wish, Master." He sees Mikal about to protest, and adds "RIGHT everyone?" After hearing the disappointed agreement from the other two, Tevan leads them to the shopping center.
After he makes sure Que's far enough away not to see, hear, or sense them, Tevan pulls Mikal and Jeniaya together for a group huddle. "So, Mikal, do you see what the ventilation systems for that area look like? I would've told Master, but the last thing he needs while dealing with a Dark Side artifact is fearing for our sakes. Besides, he probably wouldn't be able to fit anyway."

Mikal responds,"So Tevan is joining me in the grey side of misbehaviour. Rad. Now the outer wall don't have vents but gardens require drainage. There should be a drain pipe connected into the sewage system.
"Gross to all extremes," Jenna states.
"Jedi know not gross. All things are one with the force. The stars, you, the poo are all one. You could even say you are a poo head. "

"Look," Tevan says with a frown "I definitely don't like going against Master's orders, but I'm sure you felt as clearly as I did the sadness and anger Master was feeling in this place. He just started regaining his full connection to the Force, and considering the pull one of those things had on him while he was in stasis several floors away, I don't know if he has a chance against one now up close and personal. I know Master wants to protect us, but today he's the one who needs protecting. So, are you both ready for our first big solo mission?"

"Something in the temple is wrong and evil. Que will need us. Evil triumph when good men stand by and do nothing. I will not let evil win. Also without me who would save your sorry selves."

"Then it's decided." Tevan says with a smile. "Mikal, lead the way. Everybody remember, the best way to beat a Sith artifact is with a smile!" He keeps the positive outlook on the outside, but inwardly, he makes sure to watch over the two for any sign of corruption. After all, Jen already lost it once, and Mikal always seemed to just barely stick on the path of the Light Side.

You climb into the sewer drains and have a difficult time following the quick moving Mikal. He stops ahead and looks at the map. Coming up next to him you see the sewer tunnel has large bars closing off passage.
"We are under the garden section but the temple is blocked by the bars," Mikal states.
Jenna draws her lightsaber,"This should be easy to fix." She prepares to ignite her blade and slice through the bars.

Tevan eyes widen and he urgently whispers "No!" as he Force Pulls the saber from Jen's hand. "Who knows how many combustible gases are coming off the sewer waste? If we ignite anything, we'll be blown to pieces." He hands Jen her hilt back and continues "Let's try the more delicate route. Jen, Mikal, loosen the edges, and I'll pull the bar from the middle. Let's make this as quiet as we can."
Mechanics: 2FR. Rolled 3 LP, so he can activate the power, move objects up to Sil 2, and do so from Medium range, if necessary. If they're securely mounted, his Pull control upgrade lets him remove objects from those too.
